Abstract
Description
本発明は、複数の段階に分けて段階ごとに異なるデザインのコンタクトレンズを装着することによる視力の回復をシミュレートするシミュレーション装置等に関する。 The present invention relates to a simulation apparatus and the like that simulates recovery of visual acuity by attaching contact lenses having different designs for each stage divided into a plurality of stages.
近年、近視治療法の1つとしてオルソケラトロジーが着目されている。オルソケラトロジーとは、手術することなくコンタクトレンズで角膜を矯正し、角膜に眼鏡やコンタクトレンズと同じ凹レンズの役割を持たせる治療法のことである。オルソケラトロジーによれば、各人の角膜形状に合わせて精密にデザインされた専用コンタクトレンズを夜間装用することで角膜の形を矯正し、レンズを外した後も十分な裸眼視力を維持できるようになる。 In recent years, orthokeratology has attracted attention as one of myopia treatment methods. Orthokeratology is a treatment method in which the cornea is corrected with a contact lens without surgery, and the cornea has the same concave lens role as glasses or contact lenses. According to orthokeratology, a dedicated contact lens designed precisely according to each person's cornea shape can be worn at night to correct the shape of the cornea and maintain sufficient naked eyesight after removing the lens. Become.
ところで、オルソケラトロジーは、元来、米国で開発された技術であるため、欧米人に顕著な成果は得られるものの、東洋人にはあまり効果がなかった。そこで、本発明者は、東洋人、特に日本人の角膜形状等を鋭意研究し、東洋人、特に日本人に効果的なカーブを有する近視及び/又は乱視矯正用コンタクトレンズを提案した(例えば、特許文献1参照)。 By the way, orthokeratology is a technology originally developed in the United States, so although it can achieve remarkable results for Westerners, it has little effect on Orientals. Therefore, the present inventor has eagerly studied the corneal shape of the Oriental, especially Japanese, and proposed a contact lens for correcting myopia and / or astigmatism having an effective curve for the Oriental, especially the Japanese (for example, (See Patent Document 1).
Further, in Japan, since the myopia and astigmatism with intensity far exceeding the treatment range of orthokeratology developed in the United States (hereinafter referred to as `` conventional orthokeratology '') are often seen, the present inventor Using a contact lens with such a curve, we developed an innovative treatment (hereinafter referred to as “new orthokeratology”) that has sufficient effects on low vision. By changing the lens design step by step, even a high myopia of 0.01 is gradually corrected, and eventually the naked eye vision can be improved to about 1.5.
The new orthokeratology employs a lens design that is more delicate and precise than the conventional orthokeratology. As a result, not only the intensity myopia and intensity astigmatism that could not be treated with conventional orthokeratology, but also corneal shapes such as keratoconus not suitable for laser surgery, re-myopia that appeared after laser surgery, and irregular astigmatism after corneal transplantation, etc. Now available. In addition, this highly accurate technology goes beyond the barriers of conventional orthokeratology developed as a myopic treatment, has a sufficient therapeutic effect even for intense hyperopia, and approaches to presbyopia have also been put into practice.
In this way, it is possible to improve myopia, astigmatism, hyperopia and the like by a treatment method that changes the lens design step by step.
However, at present, even if you want to receive this kind of treatment, you can know how much your eyesight will recover if you don't actually wear a contact lens designed to match your cornea shape. Absent. For example, it was not known how many times the lens design was changed and how much improvement was expected in what period.
The technique of Patent Document 1 proposes a contact lens used for actual treatment, and does not propose a simulation method for restoring visual acuity.
本発明は、以上のような技術的課題を解決するためになされたものであって、その目的は、現在の屈折値や視力等を入力するだけで簡単に視力の回復をシミュレートできるようにすることにある。 The present invention has been made to solve the technical problems as described above.

As shown in the figure, the computer includes a CPU (Central Processing Unit) 10a which is a calculation means, a

In the present embodiment, the
FIG. 3 shows an example of this input page.
This input page is provided with two forms, “when the refraction value is known” and “when the refraction value is unknown”. Then, the user can instruct simulation by inputting data from either of these two forms and pressing the “Diagnose” button. Here, the refraction value is a value representing the refractive power of the cornea. This refraction value is a value that is a good medical decision, and a highly reliable simulation result can be obtained by inputting the refraction value and the age. However, ordinary users often do not know this value. Therefore, in the form of “when the refraction value is not known”, the simulation can be performed by inputting the naked eye visual acuity. However, in this case, the reliability of the simulation result is slightly lowered only with the naked eye vision and age, so as described later, the simulation result with high reliability can be obtained by inputting the usage history of glasses and contact lenses. So that you can get.
First, the form “when the refraction value is known” will be specifically described.
In this form, a refraction value input field for the right eye and a refraction value input field for the left eye are displayed. Although not shown in the drawing, options are prepared by dividing the refraction value by a certain width, and this option is displayed when the button on the right side of each input column is pressed. For example, options such as “0 to −0.9D”, “−1D to −1.9D”, and “−2D to −2.9D” are displayed.
This form also displays an age entry field. This is because even if the current refraction value is the same, the degree of recovery of visual acuity varies with age. Although not shown in the drawing, options for age are prepared by dividing them by a certain width, and this option is displayed when the button on the right side of the input field is pressed. For example, options such as “5 to 15 years old”, “16 to 20 years old”, and “21 to 30 years old” are displayed.
On the right side of the form, a “diagnosis” button for instructing simulation is displayed.
Next, the form “when the refraction value is not known” will be specifically described.
This form displays an input field for the naked eye vision of the right eye and an input field for the naked eye vision of the left eye.
This form also displays an age entry field. This is because the degree of recovery of visual acuity varies with age even if the present naked eye visual acuity is the same. Although not shown, options for age are prepared by dividing them by a certain width, and this option is displayed when the button on the right side of the input field is pressed. For example, options such as “5 to 15 years old”, “16 to 20 years old”, and “21 to 30 years old” are displayed.
In addition, this form also displays an input field for the usage history of eyeglasses or contact lenses (hereinafter simply referred to as “usage history”), which is the period of correction of visual acuity so far. This is because even if the current naked-eye vision is the same, the degree of recovery of vision differs depending on the usage history. Although not shown in the drawing, options for the usage history are prepared by dividing them by a certain width, and this option is displayed when the button on the right side of the input field is pressed. For example, options such as “no experience or less than one year”, “1-5 years”, “5-10 years” are displayed.
On the right side of the form, a “diagnosis” button for instructing simulation is displayed.
In this way, when the refraction value is known, in any case where the refraction value is not known, by appropriately inputting or selecting data and pressing the `` diagnosis button '', a page for outputting simulation results (hereinafter, "Output page") is displayed.
FIG. 4 shows an example of this output page.
In this output page, the degree of visual acuity recovery is represented by one graph. This is because the right eyesight and left eyesight are expected to recover following a similar course, and the right eyesight and left eyesight are expected to recover following different courses. In this case, two graphs each representing the degree of eyesight recovery of the right eye and the left eye are displayed.
Also, in this graph, it can be seen that four stages are required to restore visual acuity. In this example, initially the visual acuity is between 0.02 and 0.06. This has recovered to between 0.1 and 0.2 at the end of the first stage. Moreover, it has recovered to between 0.5 and 0.8 at the end of the second stage. Furthermore, at the end of the third stage, it has recovered to between 1.0 and 1.2. Furthermore, at the end of the fourth stage, it has recovered to between 1.2 and 2.0.

Among these, FIG. 6A shows a table (hereinafter referred to as a “refractive value table”) that is referred to when data is input from the form “when the refractive value is known” in FIG.
In this refraction value table, the vertical axis indicates the refraction value, and the horizontal axis indicates the age. Although blank in the figure, information for specifying a graph representing the degree of recovery of visual acuity when a combination of the refraction value and age is input is set in a cell where a certain refraction value and a certain age intersect. 尚、このテーブルは、屈折値と年齢の組み合わせに基づいてグラフを特定するための情報の一例であって、これには限らない。例えば、テーブルの各軸には、屈折値、年齢を一定の幅を持つものとして設定したが、屈折値、年齢を幅を持たない値として設定するようにしてもよい。この場合は、任意の屈折値と年齢の入力に対して、適宜補間を行うことによりシミュレーション結果であるグラフを特定することができる。 This table is an example of information for specifying a graph based on a combination of refraction value and age, and is not limited to this. For example, for each axis of the table, the refraction value and age are set as having a certain width, but the refraction value and age may be set as values having no width. In this case, a graph as a simulation result can be specified by appropriately interpolating an arbitrary refraction value and age input.
On the other hand, FIG. 6B shows a table (hereinafter referred to as “naked eyesight table”) that is referred to when data is input from the form “when the refraction value is unknown” in FIG.
In this naked eye visual acuity table, the visual axis (naked eye visual acuity) is set on the vertical axis, and the history of use is set on the horizontal axis. In addition, as shown in the figure, the table for the naked eye vision is prepared for each age with the vertical axis indicating visual acuity and the horizontal axis indicating the history of use. For example, a table for naked eye vision for 5 to 15 years old, a table for naked eye vision for 16 to 20 years old, a table for naked eye vision for 21 to 30 years old, and the like. Although it is blank in the figure, in the table for the naked eye vision for a certain age, the cell of a certain visual acuity and a certain usage history has a visual acuity when a combination of that age, that visual acuity and its usage history is input. Information for specifying a graph representing the degree of recovery is set.
This table is also an example of information for specifying a graph based on a combination of age, visual acuity, and usage history, and is not limited to this. For example, the table may not be provided for each age having a certain width, but may be provided for an age having no width. Further, although the usage history is set as having a certain width on the horizontal axis of the table, the usage history may be set as a value having no width. In this case, a graph as a simulation result can be specified by appropriately interpolating an arbitrary age, visual acuity, usage history, and input.

Although four types of graphs are prepared here, the types of graphs are not limited to this.

In the present embodiment, only the refraction value and the age can be entered from the “when the refraction value is known” form, and the history of use cannot be entered. However, the usage history may be input. In this case, the simulation can be performed by performing the same processing as when data is input from the form “when the refraction value is unknown”. That is, for example, the refractive value table of FIG. 6A may be prepared for each usage history, and the graph may be specified from the refractive value, age, and usage history.
このように、本実施の形態では、現在の屈折値と年齢の組み合わせに対応付けられたグラフをシミュレーション結果として提供するようにした。或いは、現在の視力と年齢と使用歴の組み合わせに対応付けられたグラフをシミュレーション結果として提供するようにした。こうすることにより、簡単に視力の回復をシミュレートできるようになった。 Thus, in this Embodiment, the graph matched with the combination of the present refraction value and age was provided as a simulation result. Alternatively, a graph associated with a combination of the current visual acuity, age, and usage history is provided as a simulation result. This makes it easy to simulate visual recovery.
