Claims (8)

駆動機の回転力を駆動鎖歯車を介して踏段鎖歯車に伝達する駆動チェーンと、上記駆動チェーンの破断を検出して上記踏段鎖歯車を制動させる駆動保安装置とを備えた乗客コンベアの駆動装置において、
上記駆動保安装置は、
上記駆動チェーンに常時当接させた当接子と、
上記当接子を先端部に取り付けた支持レバーと、
上記駆動装置の主枠に設けられた軸受部により上記支持レバーの基端部を回動可能に支承する軸部材と、
上記軸部材に取り付けられ、上記支持レバーの回動により上記踏段鎖歯車を制動させる係合爪と、
上記軸受部に取り付けられ、上記支持レバーの基端部に対向して上記駆動チェーンの振動を軽減する振れ止め部材と、
を備えたことを特徴とする乗客コンベアの駆動装置。
