電線が接続される複数の雌端子および当該複数の雌端子を保持する雌ハウジングを備える雌コネクタと、
電線が接続される複数の雄端子および当該複数の雄端子を保持する雄ハウジングを備える雄コネクタと、
前記雌コネクタの前端部分を囲むようにして前記雌ハウジングに係止されるホルダーと、
当該ホルダーに接着されているシール部材とを備え、
前記雌ハウジングは、前記複数の雌端子がそれぞれ後方から挿入される複数の雌端子収容室と、この複数の端子収容室内に挿入された雌端子をそれぞれに係止する複数の雌端子係止部と、前記ホルダーを係止するためのホルダー係止部とを有し、
前記雌端子係止部は、前記雌端子を係止可能な係止位置と、この係止位置から退避して前記雌端子の係止状態を解除する係止解除位置との間で弾性変位可能な形状を有しており、
前記雄ハウジングは、前記複数の雄端子を前記雌コネクタ側に突出させるようにしてそれぞれ保持する複数の雄端子保持部を有し、
前記ホルダーは、前記雌コネクタの前端面を覆うホルダー基部と、当該ホルダー基部の外周部分から雌コネクタ側に延びてその内周部分に前記雌コネクタの前端部分を収容する側壁とを有し、

前記シール部材は、前記雌コネクタの前端面を覆うとともに前記ホルダー側挿通孔に対応する位置に前記雄端子保持部を挿通可能な複数のシール側挿通孔を有する第一防水部と、当該第一防水部の外周部分から前記雌コネクタ側に延びる第二防水部とを有し、
当該第一防水部は、その前端面が前記ホルダー基部の後端面に接着されており、前記雌コネクタと雄コネクタとの嵌合時に、そのシール側挿通孔の内周面が前記雄端子保持部の外周部分によって径方向に押圧されることでこの雄端子保持部の外周部分に密着して、この雄端子保持部の周囲を密閉するような形状を有し、
前記第二防水部は、その外周部分が前記ホルダーの側壁の内周面に接着されており、前記ホルダー係止部とホルダー被係止部との係合時に、その内周部分が前記雌ハウジングの外周部分によって径方向に押圧されることでこの雌ハウジングの外周部分に密着し、前記ホルダーと当該雌ハウジングとの隙間を全周にわたって密閉するような形状を有し、
