Abstract

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfy a request for a tape cutter to be inexpensive, to be easily usable, and to have high safety, even if there is the tape cutter, since there is no tape cutter capable of making turnup in a present state, though the turnup tape cutter is convenient when there is the turnup in a tape used for a corrugated fiberboard box, for reutilizing resources and aiming at efficient packing work. <P>SOLUTION: A needle (pin)-shaped tape receiver is arranged in the substantially same position as a tape end receiver of a conventional cutter. The turnup can be easily and effectively made by taking a method of turning up by a handle. Safety is also enhanced by arranging a safety cover. Description

This is a hand-type tape cutter that can be folded back for wide tape such as gummed tape.

The conventional tape cutters such as gum tape have the following forms and functions, but have no folding function.

Set the tape with the adhesive side facing down, and cut the tape from the non-adhesive side.

The tape stuck to the packed cardboard box was stuck to the end and was troublesome to remove. However, creating the edges for this purpose was cumbersome with current tape cutters.
In terms of structure, there is nothing to be the starting point for folding the end, and in the form of the current tape receiver, the tape is too sticky to be the starting point for folding.

Also, in order to be widely used, it must be an inexpensive tape cutter, and for that purpose it needs a simple structure.

A needle (pin) -shaped tape receiver is installed at almost the same position as the conventional tape end receiver of the cutter. At the same time as receiving the tape end, it becomes the base point for turning back.
If the needle (pin) is left exposed, there is a problem with safety, so put safety covers on both sides of the needle (pin).
Attach a wrap handle so that wrapping is easy.
A tape take-out pin is attached so that the folded tape end can be removed safely and easily.

There was no tape cutter with a folding function that can handle wide tapes such as gum tape and kraft tape. The closeness of the tape cutter with the folding function increases the packaging with the folded tape, which makes it easier to open the packaging and makes it easier to peel off the cardboard when throwing out cardboard as resource waste.
By holding the tape with the tape holding pin, it is possible to set the base point of the return and return.
The wrap handle makes wrapping easier.
The tape removal pin makes it easy to remove the tape.
