Abstract
【解決手段】ワークホルダは、ラジアル流体軸受(14)、スラスト流体軸受(16)ならびに流体とで構成される胴部を含み、流体を被把持ワーク(12)とワークホルダとの間の間隙に保持してワークに対して軸方向力と径方向力とを発生させてワークを高精度で芯出ししてワークを把持する。

Claims (20)
- 流体軸受および流体を含む胴部を有するワークホルダにおいて、該流体軸受が、該流体を前記ワークホルダとワークとの間の間隙に保持させることにより該ワークを開放可能に保持し、かつ該流体軸受は、径方向力および/もしくは軸方向力をワークに対して発生し、該ワークホルダは、該ワークを開放可能に保持するための機械的インターフェースを有していないワークホルダ。
- さらに流体源を有する請求項1に記載のワークホルダ。
- 前記流体軸受は、静圧軸受または流体動圧軸受である請求項1に記載のワークホルダ。
- 前記流体は、外部流体源から前記間隙に供給される液体または気体である請求項1に記載のワークホルダ。
- 前記流体は、その内部で粘性せん断により加圧される請求項1に記載のワークホルダ。
- 機械的インターフェースがジョウ、コレット、チャック、磁気チャックまたはクランク装置である請求項1に記載のワークホルダ。
- 前記ワークは、前記ワークの軸に沿った回転のみ許容されるように拘束されている請求項1に記載のワークホルダ。
- ワークの回転誤差運動は、1μm以下である請求項1に記載のワークホルダ。
- 流体軸受と流体とを含む胴部を有するワークホルダにワークを保持する方法において、前記流体軸受に前記ワークを配置する段階と、該ワークホルダと該ワークとの間の間隙に流体を保持させる段階と、該ワークホルダに該ワークを開放可能に保持する段階とを有し、前記流体軸受は、前記ワークに径方向力および/もしくは軸方向力を発生させるようになっているものであり、前記ワークホルダは、前記ワークを開放可能に保持する機械的インターフェースを有していないものである方法。
- さらに流体源を提供する段階を有する請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記流体軸受けは、静圧軸受または流体動圧軸受である請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記流体は、外部流体源から前記間隙に供給される液体または気体である請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記流体は、その内部で粘性せん断により加圧される請求項9に記載の方法。
- 機械的インターフェースがジョウ、コレット、チャック、磁気チャックまたはクランク装置である請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記ワークは、前記ワークの軸に沿った回転のみ許容されるように拘束されている請求項9に記載の方法。
- ワークの回転誤差運動は、1μm以下である請求項9に記載の方法。
- ワークホルダを製造する方法にして、該ワークホルダとワークとの間の間隙に流体を保持して該ワークを開放可能に保持するようにした流体軸受を組み立てる段階を有し、前記流体軸受は、前記ワークに径方向力および/もしくは軸方向力を発生させるようになっており、前記ワークホルダは、該ワークおよび外部駆動/回転装置を開放可能に保持する機械的インターフェースを有していない方法。
- 流体源を提供する段階をさらに有する請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記流体軸受は、静圧軸受または流体動圧軸受である請求項17に記載の方法。
- 機械的インターフェースがジョウ、コレット、チャック、磁気チャックまたはクランク装置である請求項17に記載の方法。
