軸方向一端部側の外周部に車体側に取り付けられる複数のフランジ部が放射状に形成された内輪部材と、この内輪部材の外径側において転動体を介して回転可能に且つ当該内輪部材と同心に配設され、ブレーキディスクが取り付けられる外輪部材と、を備えた車輪用転がり軸受装置であって、
前記ブレーキディスクには、当該ブレーキディスクを前記内輪部材の一端部側から外輪部材に取り付ける際に前記フランジ部と干渉しないように、前記内輪部材のフランジ部の数をnとすると、径方向外方に延びる(n+1)個の切欠きを含む、内縁が曲線で構成された花びら状の開口部が形成されていることを特徴とする車輪用転がり軸受装置。
