Abstract
Description
本発明のいくつかの実施形態では、SSにより送信されるアクセス信号の送信信号電力は、1つ以上のチャンネル特性に基づいて520の段階で設定される。これらの実施形態において、送信電力と1つ以上のチャンネル特性との関係は送信電力と1つ以上のチャンネル特性から決定される1つの値との単調減少関係であり得る。例えば、1つ以上のチャンネル特性が受信信号強度の平均から成るとき、送信電力は、平均受信信号強度から決定されるSS範囲の推定(例えば低及び高)に2つのBSが対応する2つの値を有するかもしれない。
Claims (10)
- 加入者局によって利用される無線多重搬送波通信システムにアクセスするための方法であって、
周波数サブバンドの群の各周波数サブバンドの1つ以上のチャンネル特性を決定すること、
前記1つ以上のチャンネル特性に基づいて前記周波数サブバンドの群の周波数サブバンドを選択すること、
アクセス信号を形成すること、
選択された周波数バンドで前記アクセス信号を送信すること、
を備える方法。 - 前記1つ以上のチャンネル特性の変化率を決定することと、
前記1つ以上のチャンネル特性の変化率が閾値よりも大きいとき、前記周波数サブバンドの群の周波数サブバンドをランダムに選択すること、
を更に備える、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 基地局から加入局の範囲を示す周波数サブバンドの群の1つ以上のチャンネル特性を決定することと、
前記1つ以上のチャンネル特性を利用して、ピーク対平均電力比を有するアクセス信号を生成するアクセス・コードを選択することと、
前記アクセス・コードから前記アクセス信号を生成すること、
を更に備える、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記アクセス信号は、前記1つ以上のチャンネル特性から決定される送信信号電力を利用して送信される、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 加入者局によって利用される無線多重搬送波通信システムにアクセスするための方法であって、
基地局から加入局の範囲を示す1つ以上のチャンネル特性を決定すること、
前記1つ以上のチャンネル特性を利用して、ピーク対平均電力比を有するアクセス信号を生成するアクセス・コードを選択すること、
前記アクセス・コードから前記アクセス信号を生成すること、
前記アクセス信号を送信すること、
を備える方法。 - ピーク対平均電力比(PAPR)と前記1つ以上のチャンネル特性との関係は、PAPRと周波数サブバンドの前記群の各周波数サブバンドの1つ以上のチャンネル特性から決定された範囲推定との単調減少関係である、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記アクセス信号は、前記1つ以上のチャンネル特性から決定される、送信信号電力を利用して送信される、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 周波数サブバンドの各群内の周波数サブバンドの1つ以上のチャンネル特性を決定すること、
前記1つ以上の周波数特性に基づいて周波数サブバンドの前記群の周波数サブバンドを選択すること、
前記選択された周波数サブバンドで前記アクセス信号を送信すること、
を更に備える、請求項5に記載の方法。 - 加入者局によって利用される無線多重搬送波通信システムにアクセスするための方法であって、
アクセス信号の基地局への送信のための所望の送信電力を決定すること、
前記加入者局の送信電力増幅器が、アクセス信号の定義された群のピーク対平均比の範囲内にある相対的に高いピーク対平均電力比を有するアクセス信号に対して所望の送信電力に達するために十分な電力出力性能を有するか否かを判定すること、
判定が否定的であるとき、相対的に高いピーク対平均電力比より低いピーク対平均電力比を有する、アクセス信号を生成するアクセス・コードを選択することを試みること、
を備える方法。 - 加入者局によって利用される無線多重搬送波通信システムにアクセスするための方法であって、
アクセス信号の基地局への送信のための所望の送信電力を決定すること、
アクセス・コードの群から第1アクセス・コードを選択すること、
前記加入者局の送信電力増幅器が、前記第1アクセス・コードに基づいて、アクセス信号のための所望の送信電力に達するに十分な電力出力能力を有するか否かを判定すること、
前記判定が否定的であるとき、前記第1アクセス信号に基づいて、前記アクセス信号のピーク対平均比よりも低いピーク対平均電力比を有するアクセス信号を提供する試みにおいて少なくとも第2アクセス・コードを選択すること、
を備える方法。
