Description
本発明による拡散性光音響ガス検出器30の好適な実施の形態を図4に示す。光音響センサ/検出器の動作原理及び構成を十分に記載する上記特許文献1の内容を引用により本明細書の一部とする。図4に示す実施の形態では、被分析ガスを連続的に透過させる音響減衰要素32は、検知室34の壁の一部を構成する。当該技術分野では公知のように、音響減衰要素32は、検知室34に侵入する外部雑音源の音波/圧力波を低減すると共に、検知室34への被分析ガスの拡散に対する最小の抵抗体のみとはなるが、光音響圧力信号の検知室34からの漏出により光音響圧力信号の脆弱化を確実に防止する。光源36からの光学エネルギは、検知室34の壁の他部を通じて入射することが好ましい。
Claims (20)
- 光学エネルギの供給源と、音圧減衰要素を通じて周辺環境に流体接続されかつ音圧減衰要素を通じて被分析ガスを拡散させる検知室と、音響圧力センサを有しかつ検知室に流体接続される音響圧力センサ室とを備え、光音響検出器の初期応答時間は、検知室の大きさに対する音響圧力センサ室の大きさから独立することを特徴とする環境中の被分析ガスを測定する光音響検出器。
- 音響圧力センサ室と検知室との間に設けられる連結通路は、毛細管として作用する請求項1に記載の光音響検出器。
- 音響圧力センサ室と検知室との間に設けられる連結通路を音圧減衰要素に近接して配置した請求項1に記載の光音響検出器。
- 音響圧力センサ室と検知室との間に設けられる連結通路を音圧減衰要素に近接して検知室の角部の付近に配置した請求項1に記載の光音響検出器。
- 音響圧力センサ室と検知室との間に設けられる連結通路を音圧減衰要素に近接して検知室の縁部付近に配置した請求項1に記載の光音響検出器。
- 検知室から音響圧力センサ室に至る連結通路を通る被分析ガスの拡散速度は、音圧減衰要素を通る周辺環境から検知室に至る被分析ガスの拡散速度より低い請求項1に記載の光音響検出器。
- 音響圧力センサ室と検知室との間に設けられる連結通路は、可撓膜を備える請求項1に記載の光音響検出器。
- 音響圧力センサ室と検知室との間に設けられる連結通路は、可撓性の支持体に取り付けられた剛性薄膜を備える請求項1に記載の光音響検出器。
- 検知室と音響圧力センサ室とは、相似する大きさである請求項1に記載の光音響検出器。
- 検知室は、音響圧力センサ室よりも小さい請求項1に記載の光音響検出器。
- 光学エネルギの供給源と、音圧減衰要素を通じて周辺環境に流体接続されかつ音圧減衰要素を通じて被分析ガスを拡散させる検知室と、音響圧力センサを有する音響圧力センサ室と、音響圧力センサ室と検知室との間に設けられかつ検知室と音響圧力センサ室との間で光音響圧力信号の伝達に悪影響を与えずに検知室から音響圧力センサ室に至る被分析ガスの拡散を制御する連結通路とを備えることを特徴とする環境中の被分析ガスを測定する光音響検出器。
- 音響圧力センサ室と検知室との間の連結通路は、毛細管として作用する請求項11に記載の光音響検出器。
- 音響圧力センサ室と検知室との間に設けられる連結通路を音圧減衰要素に近接して配置した請求項11に記載の光音響検出器。
- 音響圧力センサ室と検知室との間に設けられる連結通路を音圧減衰要素に近接して検知室の角部の付近に配置した請求項11に記載の光音響検出器。
- 音響圧力センサ室と検知室との間の連結通路は、音圧減衰要素に近接して、検知室の縁部の付近に配置される請求項11に記載の光音響検出器。
- 連結通路を通じた検知室から音響圧力センサ室への被分析ガスの拡散速度は、音圧減衰要素を通り周辺環境から検知室に至る被分析ガスの拡散速度より低い請求項11に記載の光音響検出器。
