Description

The present invention includes a first housing that encloses an electronic component, a second housing that encloses a substrate on which the electronic component is mounted, a coupling mechanism that couples the first housing and the second housing, A signal line that is inserted through a coupling mechanism to electrically connect the electronic component in the first casing and the electronic component in the second casing; and an end of the signal line on the second casing side The present invention relates to an electronic device including a first connector provided in a portion and a second connector provided on the substrate and connected to the first connector.

For example, a mobile phone is known as the electronic device as described above, and a conventional mobile phone includes, for example, a liquid crystal side case as a first case and a character input side case as a second case. The liquid crystal side housing and the character input side housing are connected by a connecting mechanism such as a folding type, a horizontal rotation type or a biaxial hinge type, and the liquid crystal side case and the character input side case are enclosed. These electronic components are electrically connected by a flexible wiring board or a cable as a signal line (see, for example, Patent Document 1).

In such a cellular phone, there is a problem that noise is generated from the vicinity of the connector that connects the flexible wiring board and the cable to the board that is housed in a casing such as a character input side casing and has the electronic component mounted thereon. In many cases, a structure is used to block noise by providing an electromagnetic shield coating such as vapor deposition, plating, or conductive coating on the inner surface of the front case or rear case constituting the body so as to cover at least the vicinity of the connector. Such an electromagnetic shielding film is usually connected to the ground portion of the substrate via an elastic current-carrying member such as a tab-shaped leaf spring or a conductive sponge (see, for example, Patent Document 2).

By the way, in the configuration where the electromagnetic shielding film on the inner surface of the front case and the rear case is used to block noise and the performance deterioration of the mobile phone is prevented, when force is applied to the case due to mutual opening / closing operation or impact etc. However, in order to prevent the shape and arrangement of the flexible wiring board and cable from being changed, the flexible wiring board and cable must be in a state where pressure is applied by mutual assembly of the front case and the rear case constituting the housing. Is desirable.

In addition, in a cellular phone, the connector for connecting the flexible wiring board and the cable is ribbed to the housing in accordance with the height of the connector connected to the board so that the connector is not detached from the board during installation or subsequent impact. In many cases, a structure for preventing connector disconnection is provided.
JP 2004-207447 A JP 2004-214443 A

However, as described above, an electromagnetic shielding film is provided on the inner surface of the front case or the rear case in order to block noise generated near the connector, and the electromagnetic shielding film is connected to the ground portion of the substrate via the elastic current-carrying member. However, since the front case, rear case, and board are not directly fixed in a one-to-one relationship, the state of connection between the electromagnetic shield film by the elastic current-carrying member and the ground part of the board is taken into account when considering the dimensional variation during mass production. There is a problem that it is difficult to stabilize.

The present invention has an object to advantageously solve the above problems, and the electronic device according to the first aspect of the present invention includes a first housing containing an electronic component and a substrate on which the electronic component is mounted. A second housing enclosing, a connecting mechanism for connecting the first housing and the second housing, an electronic component inside the first housing and the second housing inserted through the connecting mechanism. A signal line for electrically connecting the electronic components inside the body, a first connector provided at an end of the signal line on the second housing side, and a fitting provided on the substrate and fitted into the first connector. An electronic device comprising: a second connector to be connected; and a cover member disposed on the substrate so as to cover the first connector in a state of being fitted and connected to the second connector. And at least the surface facing the first connector has conductivity. Is characterized by a surface having a conductivity of the cover member is electrically connected to the ground portion of the substrate.

In the electronic device according to the first aspect of the present invention, at least the first connector of the cover member disposed on the substrate so as to cover the first connector that is fitted and connected to the second connector faces the first connector. Since the surface has electrical conductivity and is electrically connected to the ground portion of the substrate, the conductive surface of the cover member covers the first connector while conducting to the ground portion of the substrate and serves as an electromagnetic shield. Functions and blocks noise generated near the first connector. Moreover, since the cover member is disposed on the substrate, the connection state between the conductive surface of the cover member and the ground portion of the substrate can be easily stabilized even when the dimensional variation during mass production is taken into consideration. Can do. Therefore, according to the electronic device of the present invention, it is possible to effectively prevent performance degradation of the electronic device due to noise generated from the vicinity of the first connector.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is an exploded perspective view showing a structure of a character input side housing of a foldable mobile phone as an embodiment of the electronic apparatus of the present invention, and FIGS. 2A and 2B show the embodiment. The mobile phone 1 according to this embodiment includes a liquid crystal side housing 2 as a first housing and a character input side housing 3 as a second housing. The liquid crystal side housing 2 includes a front case 2a and a rear case. The case 2b is configured to be fitted and fixed to each other, and the character input side housing 3 includes a front case 3a as a first case member and a rear case 3b as a second case member. The liquid crystal side housing 2 includes a substrate (not shown) inside the front case 2a and the rear case 2b, and a liquid crystal display unit 5 installed on the surface of the substrate is exposed from the front case 2a. Various electronic components such as a speaker are mounted and electrically connected to the substrate. On the other hand, the character input side housing 3 has a board 6 built in a front case 3a and a rear case 3b, and a key button sheet 7 installed on the surface of the board 6 via a metal frame 13 described later is a front. Expressed from case 3a. Various electronic components such as a microphone are mounted and electrically connected to the substrate 6. The rear case 3b is provided with a battery attachment portion 3c, and this attachment portion 3c is closed by a battery lid 3c ′.

The electronic components on the substrate in the liquid crystal side housing 2 and the electronic components on the substrate 6 in the character input side housing 3 are two bundles of cables 8 as signal lines inserted through the cavity of the hinge portion 4. , 9. Specifically, the first connectors 10 are respectively provided at both ends of the cables 8, 9, and the back surface of the substrate in the liquid crystal side housing 2 and the character input side housing are provided. Two second connectors (not shown) are provided on the back surface of the substrate 6 in the body 3, and the two connectors, the first connector 10 at one end of the cables 8 and 9 and the substrate in the liquid crystal side housing 2, are described above. The second connector is fitted and connected, and as shown in FIG. 1, the first connector 10 at the other end of the cables 8 and 9 and the two above-mentioned boards of the board 6 in the character input side housing 3. Two connectors are fitted and connected.

In the cellular phone 1 according to this embodiment, as shown in FIG. 1, the second ends of the cables 8 and 9 that are fitted and connected to the two second connectors of the substrate 6 in the character input side housing 3 are connected. A substantially rectangular plate-like frame 11 as a cover member is arranged so as to cover the connector 10 including the ends of the nearby cables 8 and 9, and the frame 11 is formed of a resin material. 2, the two claws 11 a that engage with the upper end portion 6 a of the substrate 6, the one claw 11 b that engages with the side end portion 6 b of the substrate 6, and the through hole 6 c of the substrate 6 are fitted. And a single boss 11c for positioning, two ridges 11d at the positions facing the two first connectors 10 at the other end of the cables 8 and 9, and other cables 8 and 9 On the entire back surface facing the two first connectors 10 at the end And a conductive coating 11e that is formed by vapor deposition process of the genus. The conductive coating 11e may be formed by plating other than metal vapor deposition, conductive coating, or the like.

As shown in FIGS. 4 to 6, the frame 11 has two claws 11 a engaged with the upper end portion 6 a of the substrate 6, and one claw 11 b is engaged with the side end portion 6 b of the substrate 6. The back surface of the substrate 6 covers the first connector 10 at the other end of the cables 8, 9 including the ends of the nearby cables 8, 9 by fitting the boss 11 c with the through-hole 6 c of the substrate 6. It is arrange | positioned at the predetermined position of this, and is fixed by insertion. As shown in FIG. 5, a tab-like leaf spring 12 as an elastic current-carrying member protrudes from the back surface of the substrate 6, and this leaf spring 12 is provided on the back surface of the frame 11 fitted and fixed to the substrate 6. The conductive film 11e is pressed and brought into contact with each other to electrically connect the conductive film 11e and a ground portion (not shown) of the substrate 6.

The frame 11 fitted and fixed to the substrate 6 is pressed toward the substrate 6 by the screw bosses 3d and ribs 3e of the rear case 3b in the character input side housing 3, as shown in FIGS. Since the substrate 6 is supported by the front case 3a via a metal frame 13 that also serves as an electromagnetic shield, the frame 11 is connected to the two other ends of the cables 8 and 9 via two protrusions 11d. The first connectors 10 are pressed against the two second connectors of the board 6 so as to be securely fitted and connected, and the ends of the cables 8 and 9 near the first connector 10 are also pressed against the board 6 so as not to move. To fix.

Furthermore, in the mobile phone 1 of this embodiment, as shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, a flexible wiring board 14 with a micro SD card connector as an external memory is disposed on the surface of the frame 11, The flexible wiring board 14 with the micro SD card connector is electrically connected to the board 6, and the micro SD card connector has a slot 3 f provided on the side of the rear case 3 b of the character input side housing 3. A micro SD card (not shown) can be inserted and removed via the.

Furthermore, in the mobile phone 1 of this embodiment, the cable 8 is entirely covered with the conductive tape 15 wound around the surface of the upper cable 8, and the conductive tape covering the other end of the cable 8. Also, the conductive coating 11e on the back surface of the frame 11 fitted and fixed to the substrate 6 is pressed against and electrically contacted.

In the mobile phone 1 of this embodiment, the first connector of the frame 11 that is directly disposed on the substrate 6 so as to cover the first connector 10 that is fitted and connected to the second connector of the substrate 6. 10 is provided with a conductive coating 11e, and the conductive coating 11e is electrically connected to the ground portion of the substrate 6 via a leaf spring 12, so that the conductive coating 11e of the frame 11 is provided. Covers the first connector 10 while conducting to the ground portion of the substrate 6 and functions as an electromagnetic shield, and blocks noise generated in the vicinity of the first connector 10. The conductive tape 15 covering the other end of the cable 8 is also electrically connected to the ground portion of the substrate 6 via the conductive coating 11e and the leaf spring 12, and functions as an electromagnetic shield. Blocks noise generated from nearby areas. Moreover, since the frame 11 is directly fitted and fixed to the substrate 6, the conductive film 11 e of the frame 11 by the leaf spring 12 and the ground portion of the substrate 6 are taken into consideration even when the size of the frame 11 is varied during mass production. Can be easily stabilized. Therefore, according to the mobile phone 1 of this embodiment, the performance deterioration of the mobile phone due to noise generated from the vicinity of the first connector 10 can be effectively prevented.

Further, according to the mobile phone 1 of this embodiment, since the two protrusions 11d of the frame 11 disposed directly on the substrate 6 are in contact with the first connector 10, the first connector is used in the frame 11. 10 can be fixed to the substrate 6 while the frame 11 also presses the other end of the cable 8 against the substrate 6, so that the first connector 10 may float due to insufficient pressure or the first connector. Thus, it is possible to effectively prevent a deterioration in performance due to a change in the shape and arrangement of the cables 8 and 9 connected to 10, and an increase in the set thickness of the character input side housing 3 due to excessive pressure.

Furthermore, according to the cellular phone 1 of this embodiment, the character input side housing 3 is fastened to the front case 3a to form the character input side housing 3, and the side on which the frame 11 of the substrate 6 is disposed. And the rear case 3b fastened to the front case 3a presses the frame 11 toward the first connector 10 by the screw bosses 3d, ribs 3e, etc. When the shape or arrangement of the cable 8 connected to the connector 10 is changed, performance deterioration occurs, the first connector 10 floats, or the set thickness of the character input side housing 3 increases due to excessive pressure. It can prevent more effectively.

Furthermore, according to the mobile phone 1 of this embodiment, the frame 11 is formed of a resin material, and the conductive coating 11e is provided on the surface of the frame 11 facing the first connector 10 by metal vapor deposition. When manufacturing the frame 11, the frame 11 can be manufactured at low cost by injection molding and vapor deposition.

According to the cellular phone 1 of this embodiment, the flexible wiring board 14 with the micro SD card connector is disposed on the surface of the frame 11, so that the planar dimension of the board 6 is for the external memory. It can be avoided that the size is increased by the size of the connector and the external dimension of the mobile phone is increased.

Although the present invention has been described based on the illustrated examples, the present invention is not limited to the above-described examples, and can be appropriately changed within the scope of the claims. For example, the present invention is only a folding type. The present invention can also be applied to a horizontal rotation type or a biaxial hinge type mobile phone, and can also be applied to electronic devices other than the mobile phone such as a palmtop computer.

Thus, according to the electronic device of the present invention, the noise generated from the vicinity of the first connector can be cut off, and the conductive surface of the cover member and the ground portion of the substrate can be taken into consideration even when the dimensional variation during mass production is taken into consideration. Therefore, it is possible to effectively prevent the deterioration of the performance of the electronic device due to noise generated near the first connector.
