Description

The present invention relates to an inhibitor switch that is disposed in a transmission case of an automatic transmission of a vehicle and detects a shift position of a select lever.

In order to detect the shift position of the select lever, an automatic switch in an automobile is usually provided with an inhibitor switch in its mission case. Such an inhibitor switch includes a terminal block fixed in the transmission case of the automatic transmission, a contact plate formed on the terminal block, an operation unit that operates along the contact plate in conjunction with the select lever of the vehicle, And a movable contact formed on the operation portion and capable of sliding on the contact plate to form a predetermined electric circuit corresponding to the contact position.

Thus, the inhibitor switch operates in oil filled in the mission case, and detects the shift position of the select lever from the electrical circuit formed according to the contact position of the movable contact with the contact plate. Based on this detection, the power transmission path of the automatic transmission can be controlled in correspondence with the shift position of the select lever (see, for example, Patent Document 1).

In such an inhibitor switch, multiple rows of contact plates extending in parallel are formed on the terminal block. A dividing portion that connects adjacent rows is formed. Then, while the contact plate integrated by the dividing portion is disposed at a predetermined position of the terminal block, the dividing portion is made to face the dividing hole formed in the terminal block, and then a punch or the like is inserted into the dividing hole. To sever the severing part and cut off the electrical continuity. As a result, it is possible to avoid separation for each column in the manufacturing process, and to achieve desired electrical conduction for each column after division.
JP 2002-175743 A

However, the above-described conventional inhibitor switch has a problem as described below because the part to be divided of each part is exposed to the outside through the inside of the parting hole. That is, in the oil in the mission case, conductive foreign matters such as fine metal powder often float, and it is not intended that such conductive foreign matters adhere across the dividing portion of the contact plate through the dividing hole. There is a problem that electrical conduction may be caused and an electrical failure such as a short circuit may occur.

In addition, by conducting secondary molding on the terminal block and filling the divided molding resin into the dividing hole to electrically shield the dividing portion of the dividing portion, conductive foreign matter adheres to the dividing portion. Although it is conceivable to avoid the occurrence of an electrical failure, in that case, there is a problem that the manufacturing cost increases by the amount corresponding to the secondary molding process.

The present invention has been made in view of such circumstances, and by insulating the dividing portion of the dividing portion in the contact plate while covering the dividing hole, the manufacturing cost is suppressed and the intention by the conductive foreign matter in the oil is achieved. It is an object of the present invention to provide an inhibitor switch that can avoid electrical conduction.

According to the first aspect of the present invention, a terminal block fixed in a transmission case of an automatic transmission of a vehicle, a contact plate formed on the terminal block, and an operation along the contact plate in conjunction with a select lever of the vehicle. An operation portion that is formed on the contact plate, and is formed on the contact plate so as to slide on the contact plate to form a predetermined electric circuit corresponding to the contact position. To be inserted at a position corresponding to the dividing portion of the terminal block and to be cut off after being arranged at a predetermined position, and to cut off the conduction, and to insert the cutting means to divide the dividing portion In the inhibitor switch for detecting the shift position of the select lever from the electrical circuit, the dividing hole is attached to the terminal block while covering the dividing hole, and the dividing hole in the attached state. To each Inserted through a protruding portion extending to divide portion of divided portion, at least the protruding portion is characterized by comprising a lid member made of an insulating material.

According to a second aspect of the present invention, in the inhibitor switch according to the first aspect, the contact plate is formed in a plurality of stages with respect to the terminal block, and the dividing hole is located at a position corresponding to a dividing portion of each contact plate. In addition to the formation of the protruding portion, the protruding height is set in accordance with the position of the dividing portion that is different for each step.

According to a third aspect of the present invention, in the inhibitor switch according to the first or second aspect, a locking means capable of fixing the lid member to the terminal block is integrally provided at an edge of the lid member. It is characterized by that.

According to the invention of claim 1, it is attached to the terminal block while covering the dividing hole, and has a protruding part that is inserted into the dividing hole in the attached state and reaches the dividing part of the dividing part, and at least the protruding part Since it has a lid member made of an insulator, it is possible to eliminate the need for secondary molding or the like for filling the dividing hole with a resin so as to insulate the dividing portion in the dividing portion, while suppressing the manufacturing cost. Unintentional conduction due to the conductive foreign matter inside can be avoided.

In the invention of claim 2, since the projection height is set in accordance with the position of the divided portion that is different for each step, it is possible to more accurately insulate the divided portion according to the divided portion, Unintentional conduction due to conductive foreign matters in the oil can be avoided more reliably.

According to the invention of claim 3, since the locking member capable of fixing the lid member to the terminal block is integrally provided at the edge portion of the lid member, it is avoided that the protruding portion is displaced from the dividing position. In addition, the manufacturing cost can be reduced as compared with the case where a means for fixing the lid member is separately provided.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be specifically described with reference to the drawings.
The inhibitor switch according to the present embodiment is disposed in a transmission case of an automatic transmission of an automobile and is for detecting a shift position of a select lever. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, a resin molded product is used. Are mainly composed of a terminal block 2, a metal contact plate 3 and 4, an operation section 5 on which a movable contact 5b is formed, a metal case 6 and a lid member 11.

The terminal block 2 has a plurality of groove portions 2a extending in the longitudinal direction on the surface side (the upper surface side in FIGS. 1 and 2), and the connector portion 2b is integrally formed at a predetermined portion on the side surface. . The terminal block 2 is provided with two upper and lower contact plates 3 and 4, and a part of the upper contact plate 3 faces the outside in the groove 2 a of the terminal block 2. The movable contact 5b is configured to be slidable.

Each of the contact plates 3 and 4 is formed by, for example, extracting and bending a conductive metal plate with a press or the like into a predetermined shape. Further, terminal portions 3a and 4a are formed at the end portions of the upper and lower contact plates 3 and 4, respectively, and these terminal portions 3a and 4a are set so as to be positioned at the connector portion 2b. Thus, if a connector (not shown) formed on an external device or the like (for example, a controller or the like disposed in the mission case) is connected to the terminal portions 3a and 4a of the connector portion 2b, the detection signal of the inhibitor switch 1 is sent. It can be sent to external devices.

The case 6 is attached so as to cover the surface side of the terminal block 2, and the flange portion 6 b is integrally formed. By inserting a bolt (not shown) into the bolt hole 6 ba formed in the flange portion 6 b, The case 6 and the terminal block 2 are configured to be fixed at predetermined positions in a mission case (not shown). Further, a locking portion 6c (see FIG. 2) is integrally extended from the case 6, and the case 6 is connected to the terminal block 2 side (inside) by bending the locking portion 6c to the terminal block 2 side (inside). It is comprised so that it can fix to 2. Further, the case 6 is formed with a straight elongated hole 6a in the longitudinal direction thereof, and the lever portion 5a of the operating portion 5 is inserted into the elongated hole 6a.

On the other hand, the operation unit 5 can operate along the contact plate 5b in conjunction with the select lever of the automobile, and as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the lever unit 5a in conjunction with the operation of the select lever, A movable contact 5b that can slide on the contact plate 3 is formed. That is, the operation portion 5 is accommodated between the case 6 and the terminal block 2 and the operation of the select lever is transmitted via the protruding lever portion 5a, and the contact plate 3 is slid on the contact plate 3 according to the operation. It is possible to move. Since the movable contact 5b is formed corresponding to the groove 2a formed on the terminal block 2, when the operation unit 5 operates, the movable contact 5b slides on the contact plate 3 in the groove 2a. It will be.

However, when the operation unit 5 slides on the contact plate 3, the movable contact 5b and the contact plate 3 come into contact with each other to be electrically connected, and a predetermined electrical circuit is formed according to the contact position. It is configured to be. Therefore, the shift position of the select lever can be detected from a predetermined electrical circuit, and the power transmission path of the automatic transmission can be controlled in accordance with the shift position of the select lever based on the detection. Yes. The contact plates 3 and 4 are electrically connected at predetermined locations, and an electrical predetermined circuit is formed including these two contact plates 3 and 4.

By the way, as shown in FIG. 4, the contact plates 3, 4 are formed with dividing portions 8, 9 that are arranged at predetermined positions of the terminal block 2 and then divided to cut off conduction. The dividing portions 8 and 9 are for connecting adjacent rows or portions so that the contact plates 3 or 4 consisting of a plurality of rows or portions are not separated in the manufacturing process. In 1, it is a site | part resected so that conduction | electrical_connection may be interrupted | blocked.

Further, as shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, a dividing hole 10 into which a cutting means 7 such as a punch (see FIG. 13) can be inserted is formed at a position corresponding to the dividing portions 8 and 9 in the terminal block 2. Yes. The dividing hole 10 is formed so as to penetrate through the front and back of the terminal block 2, and as shown in FIG. 13, FIG. 7 and FIG. 8, even after the dividing portions 8 and 9 are divided. The dividing part is exposed to the outside through the hole 10.

Here, in this embodiment, it is comprised so that the cover member 11 may be attached to a part of back side in the terminal block 2. FIG. As shown in FIG. 9, the lid member 11 is made of an insulating material such as a resin material formed into a substantially plate shape, and is attached to the terminal block 2 while covering the dividing hole 10. In addition, a plurality of protrusions 11a are formed to protrude on the surface (attachment surface to the terminal block 2), and at the edge of the lid member 11, there are a recess 11b and a claw portion 11c as a locking means. It is integrally formed.

As shown in FIGS. 10 and 11, the recess 11b has a concave shape so as to avoid interference with the bent portion at the locking portion 6c when the locking portion 6c is bent to fix the case 6 to the terminal block 2. The claw portion 1c should be locked to the locking hole 2c formed in the terminal block 2 when the lid member 11 is attached to the terminal block 2 as well as the molded portion. Thus, the movement of the lid member 11 in the planar direction is restricted by the recess 11b, and the lid member 11 can be prevented from being detached from the terminal block 2 due to the locking by the claw portion 1c.

On the other hand, the projecting portion 11a is formed integrally with the lid member 11, and as shown in FIG. , 9 so as to reach the dividing point. That is, as shown in FIG. 13, the protrusion 11 a made of an insulator together with the lid member 11 is inserted from the dividing hole 10 and interposed in the dividing portion of the dividing portions 8 and 9, thereby insulating the non-divided portion (non- (Conducting state) can be reliably maintained.

As a result, by attaching the lid member 11, the protruding portion 11 a made of an insulator is interposed at the dividing portion of the dividing portions 8 and 9 in the contact plates 3 and 4, and the oil in the transmission case is spread over the dividing portion. It is possible to reliably avoid the floating conductive foreign matter from adhering. Therefore, a separate process such as secondary molding for filling the dividing hole can be omitted, so that the manufacturing cost can be suppressed and unintended conduction due to the conductive foreign matter in the oil can be avoided.

Incidentally, as described above, the contact plates 3 and 4 are formed in a plurality of stages (upper and lower stages) with respect to the terminal block 2, and the dividing holes 10 correspond to the dividing portions 8 and 9 of the respective contact plates 3 and 4. It is formed at a position, and the position of the dividing portions 8 and 9 in the height direction differs depending on the dividing hole 10. In the present embodiment, as shown in FIG. 12, the protrusion 11 a has a protruding height that is set according to the position of the divided portions 8 and 9 that are different for each stage. In addition, it is possible to more accurately insulate the divided portions, and it is possible to more reliably avoid unintended conduction due to conductive foreign matters in the oil.

Furthermore, since the claw part 11c which can fix the said cover member 11 to the terminal block 2 is integrally provided in the edge part of the cover member 11, the protrusion part 11a will shift | deviate from the parting parts 8 and 9. This can be avoided, and the manufacturing cost can be reduced as compared with a case where a means for fixing the lid member 11 is separately provided. The method and means for fixing the lid member 11 to the terminal block 2 may be other general-purpose ones (fixing with an adhesive, fixing with screwing means such as bolts, etc.).

According to the inhibitor switch 1, when the driver operates the select lever, the lever portion 5 a is operated in conjunction with the operation, and the operation portion 5 slides linearly on the contact plate 3 to the contact position. A predetermined electrical circuit is formed accordingly. At this time, since the interruption of the continuity between the dividing portions 8 and 9 is reliably maintained by the protruding portion 11a, an electrical failure such as a short circuit can be reliably prevented, and the reliability of the inhibitor switch 1 can be improved.

Next, a method for manufacturing the inhibitor switch 1 will be described.
First, the contact plates 3 and 4 respectively connected by the dividing portions 8 and 9 are positioned and fixed at predetermined positions in a molding die for molding the terminal block 2. Then, a resin is poured into the molding die, and the terminal block 2 is molded while the contact plates 3 and 4 are insert-molded. At this time, by forming the dividing hole 10 at a position corresponding to each dividing part 8, 9, the dividing part 8, 9 is exposed to the outside through the dividing hole 10.

After the contact plates 3 and 4 are fixed to the terminal block 2 as described above, the cutting portions 8 and 9 are simultaneously cut at a plurality of locations by fitting the cutting means 7 such as punches into the cutting holes 10. Thus, since the terminal block 2 in which the contact plates 3 and 4 are insert-molded is obtained, the operation portion 5 and the case 6 are attached to the terminal block 2, and the lid member 11 is attached thereto, so that the protruding portions 11 a are inserted into the dividing holes 10. As a result, the divided portions in the dividing portions 8 and 9 are insulated, and the inhibitor switch 1 according to the present embodiment is obtained.

Although the present embodiment has been described above, the present invention is not limited to this. For example, it suffices that at least the protrusion of the lid member is made of an insulator, and a separate protrusion made of an insulator is sufficient. You may make it adhere to a cover member, or you may make it give a process (insulation coating etc.) with a high insulation effect only to the projection part integral with a cover member. Further, in the present embodiment, the contact plate having the dividing portion is arranged in two upper and lower stages, but it may be one stage or three or more stages. When the contact plate has a single step, the height of the plurality of protrusions can be made substantially constant. When the contact plate has three or more steps, the protrusions protrude depending on the positions of the divided portions that are different for each step. It is preferable to set the height.

Furthermore, in the present embodiment, the operating portion slides linearly on the contact plate in conjunction with the operation of the select lever. Instead, for example, the fixed contact is arcuate (or circumferential). It is good also as what makes an operation part slide in arc shape (circumferential shape).

An insulator that is attached to the terminal block while covering the dividing hole, and has a protruding part that is inserted into the dividing hole in the attached state and reaches the dividing part of the dividing part, and at least the protruding part insulates the dividing part As long as the inhibitor switch is provided with a lid member made of the above, it can be applied to a switch having a different external shape or a switch to which another function is added.
