前記ケーシングに設けられてなり、モータと出力軸と前記モータの回転を前記出力軸に伝達する減速伝達機構を備えた駆動装置と、
前記便座又は便蓋に設けられてなり、前記駆動装置の出力を前記便座・便蓋に伝達する伝達機構とで自動開閉装置を構成し、
前記伝達機構は、回転軸及び前記回転軸を前記便座又は便蓋の開放方向に付勢する付勢手段を有する第一伝達ユニットと、前記駆動装置及び第一伝達ユニットに対して着脱自在であり前記駆動装置の出力軸と前記第一伝達ユニットの回転軸の間で伝達されるトルクを制限するトルクリミッタを備えた第二伝達ユニット、とを備えたことを特徴とする便座・便蓋用自動開閉装置。
