Abstract

Description
[例示的な電磁気式トラッキング・システム]
図2は、本明細書に記載した一実施形態により使用される例示的な電磁気式トラッキング・システム(「トラッカー」)200を表している。トラッカー200は、送信器210、トランスポンダー215、受信器220及びトラッカー電子回路230を含む。送信器210は送信器信号を送出する。トランスポンダー215は送信器信号を受け取り、トランスポンダー信号を送出する。受信器220は送信器信号及びトランスポンダー信号を検出する。トラッカー電子回路230は受信器220が受け取った信号を解析し、トランスポンダー215を特定しかつトランスポンダー215の位置を決定する。図2はさらに、トラッキング・システムと連係して使用することがある画像取り込みサブシステム240も表している。
[例示的な共形的電磁気式トラッカー]
図3は、例示を目的として、例示的な画像取り込み構成要素300を表わすと共に、その構成要素の全体を1つのボックスで表している。画像取り込み構成要素の例には、X線画像検出器や外科用顕微鏡が含まれる。取り付けブラケット(図1に示したブラケット110のようなブラケット)を有するのではなく、画像取り込み構成要素300に対してEM受信器310が直接取り付けられている。より厳密には、EM受信器310が、装着させる領域の全体にわたって構成要素の表面と形状一致するようにして画像取り込み構成要素300に装着されている。これを共形的な装着または共形的な取り付けということがある。共形的取り付けによって従来の画像取り込み構成要素100の歪み寄与物に関する磁場歪みの影響が排除される。図3に示したEM受信器310は図2に示した受信器210とすることがある。

本明細書の検討は、医用トラッキングすなわちナビゲーション・システムの細目(特に、患者の解剖構造内の医用器具のトラッキングに対する使用)に焦点を当てている。しかし、記載したこれら細目の詳細は単に一例である。

Claims (10)
- 医学的手技中に画像を取り込むように構成した画像取り込みサブシステム(240)と、
医学的手技中に1つまたは複数の医用器具及び前記画像取り込みサブシステムの1つまたは複数の画像取り込み構成要素(300)をトラッキングするように構成した電磁気式トラッキング・サブシステム(230)と、
前記画像取り込みサブシステムの画像取り込み構成要素(300)のうちの前記電磁気式トラッキング・サブシステムによりトラッキングを受けている1つの構成要素に対して共形的に取り付けられたトラッカー・ユニット(310)であって、該ユニットが取り付けられる画像取り込み構成要素の表面と該ユニットが形状一致するようにして共形的に取り付けられているトラッカー・ユニット(310)と、
を備える医用トラッキング・システム(200)。 - 前記トラッカー・ユニット(310)が受信器(210)である、請求項1に記載のシステム(200)。
- 前記トラッカー・ユニット(310)が送信器(220)である、請求項1に記載のシステム(200)。
- 前記ユニット(310)は取り付けられる画像取り込み構成要素が電気伝導性材料からなるハウジングを有する、請求項1に記載のシステム(200)。
- 前記共形的に取り付けられるトラッカー・ユニット(310)は画像取り込み構成要素のうちの前記1つに面一取り付けされている、請求項1に記載のシステム(200)。
- 画像取り込みサブシステム(240)の画像取り込み構成要素(300)に取り付けられたコイルアレイを備えたトラッカー装置(310)であって、該画像取り込み構成要素は電磁気式トラッキング・サブシステム(230)によってトラッキングされており、該画像取り込みサブシステムは医学的手技中に画像を取り込むように構成されており、該電磁気式トラッキング・サブシステムは医学的手技中に1つまたは複数の医用器具及び画像取り込みサブシステムの1つまたは複数の画像取り込み構成要素をトラッキングするように構成されており、該コイルアレイは該アレイが画像取り込み構成要素の表面と形状一致するようにして共形的に取り付けられているトラッカー装置(310)。
- 前記コイルアレイは少なくとも1つのソレノイドコイルを含む、請求項6に記載の装置(310)。
- 前記コイルアレイが取り付けられる画像取り込み構成要素(300)は電気伝導性材料からなるハウジングを有する、請求項6に記載の装置(310)。
- 前記電磁気式トラッキング・サブシステム(230)は前記共形的に取り付けられたコイルアレイをトラッキングするように構成したマルチチャンネル単独コイル電磁気式トラッカーを備える、請求項6に記載の装置(310)。
- 前記共形的に取り付けられるコイルアレイは前記画像取り込み構成要素に対して面一取り付けされている、請求項6に記載の装置(310)。
