Description

The present invention relates to a structure of a cooling device, and more particularly to an outdoor device-type electronic device storage box.

Electronic equipment for outdoor installations such as radio base station equipment and repeaters in mobile communication systems such as mobile phone systems are protected to maintain both exhaust characteristics for heat dissipation and rainproof characteristics against rainwater intrusion. An electronic device storage box having an electronic device storage portion has been used.
Conventionally, there has been an electronic device storage box having a structure as shown in the perspective view of FIG.
A conventional outdoor installation type electronic device storage box for storing an electronic device used outdoors is a storage box body 1 having an internal exhaust port 2 for releasing heat generated by the electronic device by exhaust, and the storage box body. For attaching two ceiling plates attached to the upper surface of the storage box body 1 in parallel to the two sides of the upper surface of the storage box body 1 with the clearances 5a and 5b for exhaust to guide the exhaust air to the outside. The ceiling board 3 fixed by the angle 8 is provided.
Although not shown in the drawing, the electronic device having a heat generating unit such as a transmission unit and a power source and a cooling fan is housed in the housing portion 6 provided in the outdoor-installed electronic device housing box.
The outside air forcedly sucked from the bottom surface of the storage box body 1 by the cooling fan of the electronic device cools the heat generating unit of the electronic device, and the air flow heated there passes through the internal exhaust port 2 on the top surface of the storage box body 1. The air is exhausted mainly from the exhaust gaps 5a and 5b for exhausting on the two sides of the ceiling plate 3.
At this time, a U-shaped angle fitting is used for the ceiling plate mounting angle 8 and a hole for airflow is formed in the U-shaped angle 8, but the airflow that strikes the angle is a vortex or the like. A phenomenon occurs in which the exhaust passage is blocked due to the occurrence.
Accordingly, the exhaust to the outside is in the other two directions (exhaust a, exhaust b) parallel to the angle 8 of the U-shape, and there is a limit to the heat dissipation effect.
A decrease in the exhaust capacity of the containment box was observed for electronic devices that are becoming increasingly amplified, smaller, and higher in density.

There was a thing that improved ventilation and improved the heat dissipation effect, eliminated the drop of water droplets on electronic devices due to condensation and rainwater entrapment, and miniaturized. (For example, refer to Patent Document 1).

Air as the outside air temperature is sucked in by the forced intake of the cooling fan from the suction port provided on the bottom surface of the storage box body 1.
The air flow of the outside air that is forcibly sucked is applied to the heat generating portion of the heat generating unit, and the heat generating unit is cooled by the air flow of the outside air temperature.
The heated air flow applied to the heat generating portion of the heat generating unit is discharged upward from the internal exhaust port 2 provided on the upper surface of the housing main body 1.
The air flow discharged upward from the internal exhaust port 2 is changed in the front, rear, left, and right directions by the inner wall surface of the ceiling plate 2, and enters an internal gap h formed between the upper surface of the storage box body 1 and the ceiling plate 2. It is guided.
The air flow guided to the internal gap h formed between the upper surface of the storage box main body 1 and the ceiling plate 2 passes through this gap h and is between the upper surface of the storage box main body 1 and the ceiling plate 2. The exhaust side is formed from the front exhaust gap 5a formed to exhaust from the four sides which are all peripheral edges of the exhaust gas, the exhaust b is formed from the rear exhaust gap 5b, and the exhaust c is formed from the right exhaust gap 5c. Then, the left exhaust gap 5d becomes exhaust d, and the heated air flow is exhausted from each gap.
At this time, each of the plurality (six) of ceiling plate mounting columns 4 does not block the air flow, does not cause vortex flow, and the like, and the exhaust air passage is ensured in the front, rear, left and right. It is formed in a thin pillar.
According to the above description, the outdoor installation type with a configuration in which the gap formed between the upper surface of the storage box main body and the ceiling plate and the gap for exhausting ensure a good air flow and can perform predetermined cooling on the electronic device.
