Description

The present invention relates to a vehicle interior material and a method for manufacturing the vehicle interior material, and more particularly to a vehicle interior material in which a decorative member is disposed and a method for manufacturing the vehicle interior material.

For example, a vehicle interior material in which the surface of a base material is covered with a decorative member, such as a door trim of an automobile, is known. By covering with a decorating member, it is possible to enhance the decorativeness in the passenger compartment.
The decorative member is disposed so as to cover the base material of the vehicle interior material. The terminal part of the decorating member is wound on the back surface side of the base material and fixed to the back surface of the base material.
In this way, when the terminal treatment of the decorative member is performed, if there is a corner portion on the base material, wrinkles occur at the corner portion when the terminal portion is wound, which is not preferable in appearance. It was.
For this reason, the shape of the vehicle interior material may be a shape in which wrinkles are unlikely to occur, but there is a problem in that the design becomes uniform.

In order to solve the above problem, in a vehicle interior material in which a base material is coated with a skin material, a portion corresponding to a corner portion of the skin material is formed into a bag shape, and a shirring sewing portion is formed in the bag-shaped portion, and shearing is performed. A technique has been proposed in which a skin material is temporarily fixed to a base material by the elasticity of a sewing portion and other peripheral portions are fixed (for example, see Patent Document 1).
JP 2004-129743 A

According to the technique of Patent Document 1, it is possible to obtain a vehicle interior material having a good appearance without generating wrinkles on the surface side. Further, the skin material can be accurately positioned on the base material, and the work of winding and fixing the peripheral portion of the skin material on the base material can be easily performed without requiring skill.

However, in the technique of Patent Document 1, it is necessary to form a bag-like portion in advance at the end portion of the skin material and to form a shirring sewing portion in this bag-like portion. In addition, equipment for sewing was necessary.
In addition, because the skin material is created according to the shape of the base material, if there is a change in the shape of the base material, the skin material must also be changed, making it difficult to handle various base material shapes. There was a problem.

An object of the present invention is to improve the appearance of a vehicle interior material in which a decorative member is disposed, and to prevent the occurrence of wrinkles on the surface side of the vehicle interior material, particularly at the corners, thereby improving the appearance. An object of the present invention is to provide a vehicular interior material with improved performance.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a method for manufacturing a vehicle interior material, which can obtain a product having a particularly good appearance at a corner, for a vehicle interior material on which a decorative member is disposed. It is in.

According to the present invention, there is provided a vehicle interior material in which a base material is covered with a decorating member, and the peripheral portion of the corner portion of the base material stands toward the back side of the vehicle interior material. The wall portion to be provided is provided, and the wall portion including the top portion of the corner portion is provided with a notch portion capable of accommodating a part of the terminal portion of the decorative member.

Thus, in the vehicle interior material of the present invention, the wall portion is provided at the corner of the base material.
The base material is covered with a decorating member, but the terminal portion of the decorating member gets over the wall and is fixed to the back side of the base material. At the edge portion of the corner portion, the decorative member is stretched by the wall portion, and a sharp and good appearance can be obtained.
Moreover, since the wall portion is formed, a larger bonding area between the base material and the decorative member at the corner portion can be secured, and the adhesion between the base material and the decorative member can be improved. .
At this time, in the vehicle interior material of the present invention, the notch is provided in the wall including the top of the corner. When the terminal portion of the decorative member is rolled up, wrinkles are generated in the decorative member at the corners of the base material. According to the configuration of the present invention, the wrinkles of the decorative member can be stored in the cutout portion. It becomes.
Therefore, the decoration member's ridge is stored on the back side of the base material, and it is possible to obtain a vehicle interior material having a good appearance without causing a crease on the front surface side of the vehicle interior material.

More specifically, the vehicle interior material is a door trim having a center pad.
The manufacturing method of the vehicle interior material of the present invention is as follows.
That is, a vehicle interior material manufacturing method in which a base material is coated with a decoration member, the step of arranging the decoration member so as to cover the surface side of the base material, and the terminal of the decoration member A step of winding the portion toward the back side of the base material, a step of positioning a part of the terminal portion of the decorating member in the notch portion of the wall portion provided at the peripheral edge of the corner portion of the base material, And a step of fixing the terminal portion of the decorating member to the base material.

According to the vehicle interior material and the manufacturing method thereof of the present invention, in the vehicle interior material in which the decorative member is disposed, even when the vehicle interior material has a shape having a corner portion such as a rectangle, the corner portion Thus, it is possible to prevent the generation of wrinkles on the surface side of the vehicle interior material, and to obtain a vehicle interior material with high product appearance.

Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. The members, arrangements, and the like described below are not intended to limit the present invention and can be variously modified within the scope of the gist of the present invention.

1 to 5 relate to an embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 1 is an explanatory view showing a door trim as an example of a vehicle interior material, FIG. 2 is an explanatory view showing a back surface of a base material, and FIG. 2 is an enlarged view of a portion A, FIG. 4 is a perspective view of FIG. 3, and FIG. 5 is an explanatory view showing a corner portion of the vehicle interior material covered with the decorative member.

In this example, the vehicle interior material will be described based on a door trim that is decorated with a decorative member. However, the present invention is not limited to this and can be applied to various vehicle interior materials.

In FIG. 1, a door trim 1 as an interior material for a vehicle is a member that interiors an automobile door, and includes a center pad 3 above an armrest 2.
The center pad 3 is covered with a decorative member 20.
FIG. 2 is an enlarged view showing the back surface of the base material 10 of the center pad 3 of the door trim 1 of the present invention. The base material 10 is formed from hard resin, such as a polypropylene.
The base material 10 is provided with ribs 10a, and the strength of the base material 10 is ensured.
Further, the base member 10 is provided with a boss portion 10b and an engaging portion 10c. A screw is screwed to the boss portion 10b and the engaging portion 10c so that the base member 10 is attached to the main body of the door trim 1. It is configured.
The surface of the substrate 10 is covered with a decorative member 20. The decorative member 20 is formed from cloth, synthetic leather, genuine leather, or the like. In addition, the decorating member 20 of the structure which consists of a skin layer which consists of cloth, a synthetic leather, a genuine leather, etc. and backing layers, such as a urethane foam, can also be used.

The base material 10 is formed in a rectangular shape having a plurality of corner portions 11. FIG. 3 is an enlarged view of a portion A in FIG. 2 and shows one of the corner portions 11 of the substrate 10. FIG. 4 is a perspective view of FIG.
As shown in the figure, a wall 11 a is provided on the peripheral edge of the corner 11 so as to stand toward the back surface of the base 10.
The wall portion 11a is formed on the back side of the base material 10 with a slight inclination toward the inside.
Thus, by forming the wall part 11a, the terminal part of the decorating member 20 gets over the wall part 11a, and is fixed to the base-material 10 back surface side. Thereby, in the edge part 11c of the corner | angular part 11, a tension | tensile_strength will protrude in the decorating member 20 by the wall part 11a, and a sharp and favorable external appearance can be obtained.
Moreover, since the wall part 11a is formed, the joining area of the base material 10 and the decorating member 20 in the corner | angular part 11 can be ensured more, and the adhesiveness of the base material 10 and the decorating member 20 is ensured. It becomes possible to raise.
In this example, since the wall part 11a is slightly inclined, the wall part 11a of the corner part 11 is not conspicuous as compared with other peripheral parts, and the appearance can be kept good.

In the present example, the wall 11a is provided with a notch 11b.
As shown in FIG. 4, the notch 11 b is formed at a position including the top of the corner 11.
A part of the terminal portion of the decorative member 20 is accommodated in the notch portion 11b. Therefore, the cutout portion 11b has a predetermined width and is formed so that the outer shape is U-shaped. In addition, although the outer shape U-shaped cutout portion 11b is shown in this example, as long as a part of the terminal portion of the decorative member can be accommodated, the shape is not limited to the U-shape, and other shapes such as a rectangular shape, a polygonal shape, etc. The shape may also be
Wall portions 11a having substantially the same length are located on both sides of the notch portion 11b.

In order to form the center pad 3, the base material 10 is covered with the decorative member 20. The decorating member 20 covers the surface of the base material 10, and the terminal portion of the decorating member 20 is wound toward the back side of the base material 10 and is fixed on the back side of the base material 10.

At this time, as shown in FIG. 5, in the corner portion 11 of the base material 10, the orientation of the decoration member 20 changes, so that the folds 21 are brought close to the decoration member 20, that is, wrinkles are generated in the decoration member 20. Then, the terminal part is wound on the base material 10 side.

Since the base material 10 of this example is provided with the notch portion 11b in the wall portion 11a, the portion of the pleat 21 is accommodated in the notch portion 11b.
By storing the pleat 21 portion in the notch 11b, the collar of the decorative member 20 is stored on the back side of the substrate 10.
The decorative member 20 is in close contact with the base material 10 at the wall portion 11a. Therefore, the base material 10 is covered with the decorating member 20 without causing wrinkles in the corner portion 11 where the wrinkles of the decorating member 20 do not appear on the front surface side and where wrinkles are easier to occur than before. Is possible.

In this way, it is possible to obtain a vehicular interior material having a good appearance with no wrinkles on the surface side.
In addition, the notch part 11b can change and form the depth according to the thickness etc. of the decorating member 20. FIG.

If the terminal part of the decorating member 20 is caught in the base material 10 side, the terminal part of the decorating member 20 is fixed to the base material 10. Fixing is performed by driving the staple 22. Note that the decorative member 20 may be fixed not only by staples but also by adhesion or welding.
In this example, in the corner part 11, the surplus part of the decoration member 20 is accommodated in the notch part 11b, and is in a stable state. Therefore, the fixing work by the staple 22 can be performed efficiently.
Moreover, in the corner | angular part 11, since the part of the pleat 21 of the decorating member 20 is accommodated in the notch part 11b, the part of the pleat 21 of the decorating member 20 opens and a wrinkle exists in another part. Since it does not generate | occur | produce, the adhesiveness to the base material 10 of the decorating member 20 in the corner | angular part 11 is ensured, and the decorating member 20 can obtain the favorable external appearance which followed the base material 10 suitably. It becomes.

The process of assembling the base material 10 and the decorating member 20 is as follows.
First, the decorating member 20 is arrange | positioned so that the surface side of the base material 10 may be coat | covered.
Then, the terminal part of the decorating member 20 is wound toward the back surface side of a base material.
At the corner portion 11 of the base material 10, the decorative member 20 is rolled up while the pleats 21 are brought close to the decorative member 20.
At this time, the portion of the pleats 21 is housed in the cutout portion 11b provided in the wall portion 11a at the peripheral edge of the corner portion 11.
The terminal portion of the decorating member 20 is fixed to the back surface side of the base material 10 by a staple 22 or the like.
Thus, the center pad 3 covered with the decorating member 20 is formed.
The center pad 3 is attached to the door trim body, and the door trim 1 is completed.
