Description

The present invention relates to a pedestrian road boundary block used to form a step or a ridge at the boundary between a roadway and a sidewalk, and particularly to a boundary part between a roadway and a sidewalk when the roadway is formed of permeable pavement. The present invention relates to a walkway boundary block and a drainage structure constructed using the block.

In a busy street or a suburban road, a step is provided between the sidewalk and the roadway as a boundary of the roadway. Such a step is formed by arranging concrete blocks called trapezoidal or curb blocks with a low L-shaped cross section.

Recently, in order to prevent water from accumulating on the road surface of the sidewalk and roadway when it rains, construction of making the sidewalk and roadway permeable pavement is increasing. Permeable pavement means that an open-graded asphalt mixture having a porosity of about 15 to 25% using modified asphalt or high-viscosity modified asphalt as the asphalt is provided on the surface layer or the surface layer and the base layer, and the underlying layer is not used. It is a pavement that is permeable and has a function of flowing rainwater or the like at the time of raining down to the drainage structure on the roadside or the shoulder.

As a drainage structure used for the water-permeable pavement, a structure as shown in FIGS. 8 and 9 is proposed in addition to a structure in which a U-shaped groove block is buried immediately below the pedestrian road boundary block. In the structure of FIG. 8, a base concrete 3 is placed at the boundary between the sidewalk 1 and the roadway 2, a trapezoidal boundary block 4 is installed thereon, and a groove 5 is provided on the roadway side of the base concrete. After the water-impervious sheet 6 is laid, a crushed stone 7 and a water-permeable concrete pipe 8 are buried to form a drainage structure 10, and a water-permeable water-conducting portion 11 and a surface layer are formed on the drainage structure 10 with an open-graded asphalt mixture. 13 is formed. The rainwater 14 flows through the water-permeable surface layer 13 on the upper surface of the water-impermeable base layer 12, is collected in the water-permeable concrete pipe 8 through the water guide portion 11 and the crushed stone layer 7, and is discharged downstream.

The structure shown in FIG. 9 uses a boundary block 4 having an L-shaped cross section integrally including a gutter 15 and a roadway apron 16, and the boundary block 4 is installed on the upper surface of the base concrete 3 provided along the roadway 2. The upper surface of the water-impermeable base layer 12 of the roadway 2 is provided at the same height as the upper surface of the roadway apron 16 of the boundary block, and the water-permeable surface layer 13 is provided thereon so as not to cover the roadway apron 16. is there. The sidewalk 1 is formed of an impermeable road surface that is flush with the upper surface of the fence 15 of the boundary block. Rainwater that falls on the roadway flows through the surface of the water-impermeable base layer 12 through the water-permeable surface layer 13, flows out onto the apron 16, and is discharged downstream along the ridge. Note that the apron of the L-shaped boundary block has a wide apron, and the block sits well and is stable.

The drainage structure of FIG. 8 has the disadvantage that the structure is complex and requires a long time for construction. Further, the drainage structure of FIG. 9 has a drawback that drainage flows on the upper surface of the apron, a crack is easily formed between the apron having a step and the water-permeable surface layer, and the side edge of the road surface is liable to collapse.

The present invention provides a drainage structure that is easy to construct in a permeable pavement having a pedestrian boundary and does not cause running water or surface collapse on the roadside, and a pedestrian boundary block suitable for constructing this drainage structure. Is an issue.

The permeable pavement road boundary block of the present invention includes a drain hole penetrating the block provided in the block in the longitudinal direction, and a water intake opening communicating with the drain hole and opening in a side portion of the block. In the walking road boundary block in which a water gradient is provided on the upper surface of the roadway apron, drainage holes 22 and 27 penetrating the block in a direction parallel to the ridge are provided in the roadway apron portion. The water intake port 24 communicating with the drainage hole via the water guide hole 26 inclined in the direction in which the drainage hole side becomes lower is opened at a predetermined interval on the side surface 19 of the roadside apron at a position higher than the drainage hole. It is a pedestrian road boundary block for permeable pavement characterized by the following.

Further, a permeable pavement boundary block for permeable pavement according to the invention of claim 2 of the present application is the permeable pavement boundary block for permeable pavement provided with the above means, on the side opposite to the road side apron 16 of the ridge 15 on the road side A sidewalk apron 31 which is narrower than the apron 16 and whose upper surface is formed higher than the upper surface of the roadway apron 16 is integrally provided, and a water intake hole 25 with a sidewalk intake port 23 communicating with the drain holes 22 and 27 is inclined. A pedestrian boundary block for permeable pavement, wherein the pedestrian boundary block is opened to a connecting portion between the ridge and the sidewalk apron.

Construction of roads with a drainage structure that does not produce running water on the road surface simply by installing a block between the sidewalk and roadway of a road with a water-permeable pavement by using the permeable road block boundary block with the above structure can do.

In the drainage structure of the permeable pavement according to the invention of claim 3 of the present application, a large number of permeable pavement boundary blocks for permeable pavement having the above-mentioned means are connected to the permeable layer 13 of the roadway with the intake port 24 on the roadway side. The drainage structure of a permeable pavement is characterized in that it is located at the boundary between the permeable layer and the boundary between the sidewalk and the roadway.

1 and 2 are views showing a first embodiment of the present invention. The pedestrian road boundary block 21 of this embodiment has a low L-shaped cross-sectional shape integrally including a ridge 15 and a lane apron 16 projecting to one lower side of the ridge. On the upper surface of the apron 16, a water gradient of 2 to 6 degrees is provided in the direction in which the side of the heel 15 is lowered. A drainage hole 22 extending along the ridge is provided inside the connecting portion of the ridge 15 and the apron 16, and a horizontal drainage that serves as a drainage line is provided on the sidewalk side surface 18 and the apron side surface 19 of the ridge 15. Grooves 28 and 29 are provided, and water intake ports 23 and 24 are opened at predetermined intervals at the bottom of each water-drawing groove. Each intake port is disposed at a position higher than the drainage hole 22, and the intake ports 23 and 24 and the drainage hole 22 communicate with each other through water introduction holes 25 and 26 that are inclined in a direction in which the drainage hole side becomes lower.

FIG. 2 is a diagram showing an installation state of the walking road boundary block of FIG. A foundation is formed by laying crushed stone on the roadbed, and base concrete 3 is placed thereon. The pedestrian boundary block 21 is installed on the base concrete so that the apron side drainage groove 29 and the sidewalk side drainage groove 28 are positioned at the upper surface height of the impermeable base layer 12 on the roadway side and the sidewalk side, respectively. The water-permeable surface layer 13 on the roadway side and the sidewalk side is formed on the base layer 12 so that the upper surfaces thereof coincide with the apron of the boundary block and the upper surface of the eaves.

The apron intake 24 is located at or slightly below the boundary between the road impermeable base layer 12 and the water permeable surface layer 13, and the water intake 23 on the side of the sidewalk is the water impermeable base layer 12 of the sidewalk and the water permeability. It is located at the boundary with the surface layer 13 or slightly below this. Rainwater that has fallen on the sidewalk and roadway penetrates the road surface, flows through the water-permeable surface layers 13 and 13, flows through the surface of the water-impermeable base layers 12 and 12, passes through the water drain grooves 28 and 29, and takes the water intake ports 23 and 24. The water flows into the water guide holes 25 and 26 and is discharged downstream through the drain holes 22.

3 to 5 are views showing a second embodiment of the present invention. The second embodiment is an example in which the drainage structure of the present invention is provided only on the roadway side of the low L-shaped pedestrian road boundary block as in the first embodiment. The drainage hole 22 is provided in the part of the apron 16 on the roadway side, and the water draining groove 29, the water intake 24 and the water introduction hole 26 are provided only for the apron side face 19 side. The reinforcing bar 35 inside the apron 16 is provided so as to surround the drain hole 22 so as to compensate for a decrease in the strength of the block due to the provision of the drain hole 22.

4 and 5 are views showing a drainage structure using the block of FIG. 3, and in this example, only the roadway is permeable to water and the side groove 36 is arranged on the soil side of the sidewalk. Rainwater that falls on the roadway 2 penetrates the water-permeable surface layer 13 and flows on the surface of the water-impermeable base layer 12, and in the same manner as in the first embodiment, the water drain groove 29, the water intake 24 and the water introduction hole 26 are formed. And flows into the drain hole 22. Rainwater that falls on the sidewalk 1 flows on the sidewalk surface and flows into the side groove 36.

On the arrangement line of the pedestrian road boundary block, for example, at a portion where the block is interrupted, such as an intersection or a car entrance / exit, a reservoir 38 communicating with the side groove 36 by the drain pipe 37 is disposed. The upper surface of the reservoir 38 is closed with a grating 39 or the like. Rainwater that has passed through the drainage hole 22 flows into the reservoir 38 and flows through the drainage pipe 37 to the side groove 36. The drain hole 22 provided in the pedestrian road boundary block cannot have a very large area. However, if the rainwater in the drain hole 22 is discharged to a side groove or the like with the structure shown in FIG. Even if the cross-sectional area 22 is not so large, rainwater can be discharged quickly.

In the above embodiment, the drain hole 22 is formed by forming a hollow hole inside the block. However, in the third embodiment of FIG. 6, a concave drain groove 27 parallel to the flange 15 is formed at the center of the bottom of the block. ing. The drainage groove is closed on the upper surface of the base concrete when the pedestrian boundary block is installed on the base concrete 3 to form a drainage hole. Further, in the third embodiment, no water draining groove is provided in the openings of the water intake ports 23 and 24. The structure of other parts is the same as that of the first embodiment. In order to smoothly guide rainwater to the water inlet 24, it is preferable to provide a water draining groove. However, by providing a groove in the connecting portion between the base layer of the road and the block, the same as when the water draining groove is provided in the block. It is also possible to obtain a water pulling action.

FIG. 7 is a perspective view showing a fourth embodiment of the present invention. The pedestrian boundary block of this embodiment is provided with an eaves 15, a lane apron 16, and a sidewalk apron 31, and the roadside apron 16 has an asymmetrical hat-shaped cross-sectional shape that is wider than the sidewalk apron 31. . A water gradient of 2 to 6 degrees is provided on the upper surface of the roadside apron 16 so that the heel side is lowered, and the upper surface of the sidewalk apron 31 is formed higher than the upper surface of the roadside apron 16.

A water-permeable concrete pipe 32 is embedded along the ridge inside the connecting portion between the ridge 15 and the apron 16 on the roadway side. Eye plates 33 and 34 are attached to the water intake ports 23 and 24 connected to the pipe 32 through the water guide holes 25 and 26. The water intake 23 on the sidewalk is open at the connecting portion between the eaves 15 and the apron 31 on the sidewalk, and the water intake 24 on the roadway is open on the side surface 19 of the roadside apron. The length of the pipe 32 is the same as the length of the block, one end of the pipe is in a position retracted from one of the small edge surfaces of the block, and the other end protrudes from the other small edge surface. Therefore, by fitting the pipe end protruding from one small edge surface of the block into the retracted portion of the adjacent block, the adjacent blocks are positioned with the pipe ends connected.

In the block of this embodiment, the water intake 24 on the side surface 19 of the roadside apron is directed to the boundary between the water-impermeable base layer 12 and the water-permeable surface layer 13 of the roadway so as to cover the upper surface of the sidewalk apron 31. The water permeable layer 13 on the side is formed. The block of the present embodiment has a wide bottom surface and thus has high stability during installation, and is also suitable when a surface layer material such as a tile is laid on the sidewalk side.
