Abstract
【解決手段】本発明に係る微生物由来のバイオマスの乾燥方法は、動植物油と鉱物油からなり、動植物油と鉱物油の比率が1:99〜90:10である混合油を用いて微生物由来バイオマスをスラリー化する工程、および当該スラリーを120〜200℃に加熱して脱水する工程を含むことを特徴とする

動植物油と鉱物油からなり、動植物油と鉱物油の比率が1:99〜90:10である混合油を用いて微生物由来バイオマスをスラリー化する工程(以下、「スラリー形成工程」という)、および
当該スラリーを120〜200℃に加熱して脱水する工程(以下、「乾燥工程」という)、
を含むことを特徴とする。
動植物油と鉱物油からなり、動植物油と鉱物油の比率が1:99〜90:10である混合油を用いて微生物由来バイオマスをスラリー化する工程(スラリー形成工程)、および
当該スラリーを120〜200℃に加熱して脱水する工程(乾燥工程)、
を含むことを特徴とする。
消化汚泥と灯油を混合比率1:2(消化汚泥400g、灯油800g)、1:2.7(消化汚泥300g、灯油800g)または1:4(消化汚泥200g、灯油800g)で混合し、さらにジューサーで攪拌した後に5分間静置し、状態を観察した。
上記比較例1において、灯油の代わりにサラダ油を用い、消化汚泥:サラダ油=1:2(消化汚泥200g、サラダ油400g)で混合攪拌した場合における状態を観察した。その結果、消化汚泥:油分=1:2の割合であっても、灯油を用いた場合よりスラリー粒子が細かく均質で、速やかな沈降も見られず流動性の高いものであった。よって、このスラリーはパイプラインを使用した輸送も可能である。これは、サラダ油の主成分がグリセリンと高級脂肪酸とのエステルであり、このエステル基は比較的親水性が高いことから親水性のバイオマス表面と親和性を持ち、スラリーを安定化した結果であると考えられる。
灯油とサラダ油を表1の比率で混合したもの400gへ消化汚泥を200g加えて混合し、さらにジューサーで攪拌した。得られた混合物の流動性を目視で観察した。また、上記比較例2と同様に得られた混合物を加熱乾燥し、泡の発生の有無を観察した。結果を表1に示す。
Claims (6)
- 動植物油と鉱物油からなり、動植物油と鉱物油の比率が1:99〜90:10である混合油を用いて微生物由来のバイオマスをスラリー化する工程(以下、「スラリー形成工程」という)、および
当該スラリーを120〜200℃に加熱して脱水する工程(以下、「乾燥工程」という)、
を含むことを特徴とする微生物由来バイオマスの乾燥方法。 - さらに、スラリー形成工程前に微生物由来バイオマスを機械的に脱水する工程を含む請求項1に記載の乾燥方法。
- スラリー形成工程において微生物由来バイオマスを混合油中で粉砕する請求項1または2に記載の乾燥方法。
- スラリー形成工程後、スラリーを120〜300℃にて当該温度における混合油の蒸気圧以上の加圧下で処理する工程を行なう請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の乾燥方法。
- スラリー形成工程において、微生物由来バイオマスに対する混合油の質量比率を2〜5倍とする請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の乾燥方法。
- 乾燥工程において発生する水蒸気の蒸発潜熱を回収して再利用する請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の乾燥方法。
