本発明の製剤は、α−マンゴスチン、β−マンゴスチン、γ−マンゴスチン等のマンゴスチン類を水に分散して平均粒子径10μm以下の微細分散液にすることに特徴がある。平均粒子径10μm以下、好ましくは平均粒子径1μm以下、特に好ましくは平均粒子径200nmから700nmのいわゆるナノサイズとすることにより安定な分散液となり、大きな生理活性をもつ。マンゴスチン類は水には溶けないが、アルコールには可溶である。しかしながらマンゴスチンのアルコール溶液は薬効はあってもアルコールが皮膚を刺激しまた皮脂を溶解して皮膚を荒らし、さらには手袋の可塑剤を抽出して手袋を劣化し可塑剤汚染を引き起こす。マンゴスチンは水あるいは低濃度のアルコール/水溶液には溶解しないが、高濃度のマンゴスチンアルコール溶液に水あるいは低濃度のアルコール/水溶液を加えるか、または水あるいは低濃度のアルコール/水溶液にマンゴスチンアルコール溶液を加えると、マンゴスチンはコロイド状態で水あるいはアルコール/水溶液に分散することができた。アルコール/水溶液のアルコール濃度を下げると刺激性、抽出力は低下するが、マンゴスチンの分散は悪くなり沈殿が生ずる。アルコール/水溶液のアルコール濃度40%以下では皮膚刺激性も少なく生理活性を発現するに充分なマンゴスチンを分散することが出来た。 The preparation of the present invention is characterized in that mangosteens such as α-mangosteen, β-mangosteen, and γ-mangosteen are dispersed in water to form a fine dispersion having an average particle size of 10 μm or less.
