Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a weather strip mounting structure provided in a gap portion between an inner panel of an automobile door and a door glass to seal the door glass.
Conventionally, in order to prevent rainwater, dust and the like from entering from a door glass installation portion that moves up and down between an inner panel and an outer panel of an automobile door, a gap between the inner panel and the door glass and an outer panel and a door A weather strip that is in sliding contact with the door glass is provided in a gap between the glass and the glass. Among these, as a structure for attaching a weather strip (inner seal) provided in a gap portion between the door glass and the inner panel, a type in which the weather strip is integrally fixed to a door trim that covers the inner side surface of the inner panel is widely known. Yes.
However, since the weatherstrip mounting structure disclosed in Patent Document 1 is a structure in which the weatherstrip is firmly press-fitted to the door trim, a strong pressure input or pull-out force is applied when the weatherstrip is assembled or replaced. Therefore, there is a problem that it is difficult to manually assemble and replace. Of course, if the press-fitting allowance of the weather strip is set small, it is possible to easily assemble and replace the weather strip. However, in this case, the weather strip support strength cannot be sufficiently obtained. Therefore, it becomes difficult to withstand the repeated raising and lowering operation of the door glass.
The present invention has been made in view of the above-described problems, and is capable of easily assembling and replacing the weather strip and mounting the weather strip capable of reliably obtaining the necessary support strength. The purpose is to provide a structure.
In order to solve the above problems, the present invention is attached to a door trim that covers the inner side surface of the inner panel in order to seal the inner side surface of the door glass that moves up and down between the outer panel and the inner panel of the automobile door. A weather strip mounting structure, wherein the door trim extends in a vertical direction to cover an inner side surface of the inner panel, and an upper surface plate extends from the upper side of the side plate to the outer side of the vehicle and covers the upper side of the inner panel. A trim body, and a rib that is provided on the back surface of the trim body and projects outwardly between the upper surface plate and the upper end of the inner panel, and the weather strip is disposed outside the vehicle of the inner panel. A base portion installed in the vertical direction along the side surface, and a front end portion protruding from the base portion toward the outside of the vehicle, A lip portion that comes into contact with the first mounting piece that protrudes inward from the base portion and is inserted between the top plate of the door trim and the rib; and the rib that is arranged below the first mounting piece in parallel. And a second mounting piece projecting in the vehicle interior direction along the lower surface of the second mounting piece, and the second mounting piece is provided with an engaged portion with which the upper end of the inner panel is engaged. (Claim 1).
According to this weather strip mounting structure, the upper end of the inner panel is engaged with the engaged portion provided in the second mounting piece of the weather strip, so that the weather strip is effectively removed from the door trim. The weather strip will be attached in a prevented state. Further, the first mounting piece of the weather strip is inserted between the upper surface plate of the door trim and the rib to sandwich the upper and lower surfaces of the first mounting piece, and the second mounting piece is arranged along the lower surface of the rib. Thus, when a downward force is applied to the lip portion of the weather strip as the door glass is lowered, the first mounting piece and the second mounting piece start from the base end portion according to the bending moment generated thereby. It is possible to suppress deformation so as to warp. As a result, it is possible to prevent the second mounting piece and the inner panel from being disengaged with the deformation, and to enhance the effect of preventing the weather strip from falling off. On the other hand, if the door trim is removed from the inner panel in this state, the engagement between the second mounting piece of the weather strip and the inner panel can be released, so that the weather strip can be easily assembled and replaced with the door trim. Can do.
In the above configuration, the upper surface plate of the door trim is provided with a protruding portion that protrudes downward, and the first mounting piece of the weather strip is provided with an engaged portion with which the protruding portion is engaged. (Claim 2).
In this way, the first mounting piece of the weather strip is also provided with the engaged portion, and the protruding portion provided on the upper surface plate of the door trim is engaged with the engaged portion, whereby the first mounting piece and the above-mentioned Since two places with the 2nd attachment piece latched by an inner panel can be latched, falling-off of a weather strip can be prevented more certainly. Further, even when the engagement portion is provided on the first mounting piece in this manner, if the projection height of the projection portion of the door trim engaged with the first attachment piece is not set higher than necessary, the assembly / While ensuring the ease of replacement, it is possible to increase the weather stripping prevention effect.
The door trim includes a first rib (corresponding to the “rib”) that is provided on the rear surface of the trim body and protrudes outwardly between the upper surface plate and the upper end portion of the inner panel. A second rib arranged in parallel below the rib and having a front end abutting against an inner surface of the inner panel, and the second mounting piece of the weather strip is inserted between the first and second ribs of the door trim. It is preferable to be locked (claim 3).
As described above, the second rib is provided below the first rib corresponding to the “rib”, and the front end of the second rib abuts against the inner side surface of the inner panel when the door trim is assembled. Since the assembling position can be determined when assembling the door trim, it is possible to improve the assembling accuracy of the door trim and the assembling accuracy of the weather strip attached thereto. Further, by inserting the second mounting piece of the weather strip between the first and second ribs and sandwiching the upper and lower surfaces of the second mounting piece, the mounting posture of the weather strip can be further stabilized. Therefore, the weather strip can be more effectively prevented from falling off.
In this case, it is preferable that the thickness of the second mounting piece of the weather strip is set to a value larger than the gap between the first and second ribs of the door trim.
In this case, since the second mounting piece of the weather strip is press-fitted between the first and second ribs of the door trim, the support strength of the second mounting piece can be increased, and the weather strip can be more reliably detached. Can be prevented. In this case, in addition to preventing the weather strip from falling off due to the engagement of the second mounting piece (or both the first and second mounting pieces) as described above, prevention of falling off by press-fitting (enhancement of support strength) is made. However, if the allowance for press-fitting the second mounting piece is not set to be larger than necessary, the effect of preventing the weather strip from dropping can be enhanced without significantly impairing the ease of assembly and replacement of the weather strip. In addition, since the second mounting piece of the weather strip is press-fitted between the first and second ribs of the door trim, the press-fitted second mounting piece tends to push up the first rib. There is also an advantage that the first mounting piece of the weather strip inserted between the first rib and the upper surface plate receives a compressive force in the vertical direction, and the support strength of the first mounting piece is increased.
As described above, according to the weather strip mounting structure of the present invention, it is possible to easily assemble and replace the weather strip, and to surely obtain the necessary support strength.
Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 is a front view of an automobile door in which the weather strip according to the present embodiment is adopted, and FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view taken along the line II in FIG. 1 and shows a weather strip mounting structure according to the present embodiment. It is. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the automobile door 1 includes a
The
The
The
An
As described above, the protruding
Next, a procedure for assembling the
First, the
Next, the door trim 36 with the
When it is necessary to replace the
As described above, according to the
The
(1) In the above embodiment, the thickness of the first mounting
(2) In the above-described embodiment, the example in which the
