Description

The present invention relates to a connecting member that has a tubular member and a pin that is provided on the tubular member so as to be able to advance and retreat, and relates to a timepiece band and a timepiece including the connecting member.

Conventionally, it has a cylindrical member, a pair of pins provided at both ends of the cylindrical member so as to be movable back and forth in the axial direction, and a spring for biasing the pin to the outside of the cylindrical member inside the cylindrical member. In addition, a connector called a spring bar is known (Patent Document 1 and Patent Document 2).
As shown in Patent Documents 1 and 2, this spring bar is used, for example, to connect a band to a pair of cans included in a watch case. That is, the spring bar is inserted through the connecting hole formed in the end piece of the band, one pin is passed through the connecting hole of the can, and the other pin is inserted into the cylindrical member against the spring force. The band is connected to the watch case by being retracted once and passing through the connecting hole of the can.

In such a spring bar, the outer periphery of the end of the cylindrical member is caulked around the pin in order to prevent the pin from being detached from the cylindrical member.
That is, as in the case of the spring bar 9 shown in FIG. 11, the pin 92 is formed on the pin 92 with respect to the caulking portion 911 of the cylindrical member 91 in a state where the pin 92 is advanced to the outside of the cylindrical member 91 by the urging force of the spring 93. The large-diameter portion 921 is locked, and the detachment of the pin 92 from the cylindrical member 91 is prevented.

Japanese Utility Model Publication No.59-189512

However, in the pin detachment prevention structure described above, the tubular member and the locking portion of the pin are at the end of the tubular member, and the end of the tubular member serves as a fulcrum when carrying or dropping impact, Since a large bending moment and shear stress act on the pin, the pin may be deformed and the connecting portion between the case and the band may become loose or the pin may come off from the can.
Compared with the pin large-diameter portion 921 locked to the caulking portion 911 of the tubular member 91, the portion of the pin 92 on which the caulking portion 911 slides has a constricted shape (small diameter) and is weak in strength. And easily deforms due to impact load.
Further, since the pin locking means is simply caulked on the outer periphery of the end of the cylindrical member, the caulking may be expanded by impact or the like, and the pin may be detached without being locked.
In addition, in recent years, the number of fixed-type band connection structures that do not allow the band to rotate relative to the connection hole of the watch case can increase, and the use of high-quality stainless steel and other special cases and bands There are many models that are heavy and heavy. In such a band fixed type or a heavy model, a particularly large load is applied to the spring bar, and there is a high possibility that the pin is detached from the can or the pin is sheared.

In view of such a problem, an object of the present invention is to provide a connecting tool whose strength is greatly improved against a load such as a drop impact, and a watch band and a watch including the connecting tool. .

The connector according to the present invention is a connector that is inserted into the through hole of one member and that is engaged at both ends with the connection hole of the other member, the tubular member and the end of the tubular member A pair of pins which are provided so as to be able to advance and retreat in the axial direction of the cylindrical member and which are respectively inserted into the connecting holes, and are arranged inside the cylindrical member and project the pins from the end of the cylindrical member A biasing member that biases in the forward direction, and the cylindrical member has a locking portion protruding inward at a position at least a predetermined dimension away from an end of the cylindrical member, and the pin And a locked portion that is urged by the urging member to be locked to the locking portion.

The present invention relates to a structure for preventing the pin from being detached from the cylindrical member, and since the locking portion of the cylindrical member is provided at a position at least a predetermined distance from the end of the cylindrical member, In the bending moment that acts on the pin during carrying or dropping impact, the inner side of the cylindrical member provided with the locking portion serves as a fulcrum, and a large force is not applied to the end of the cylindrical member. That is, since the deflection of the pin in the axial direction is suppressed according to the distance from the end portion of the cylindrical member to the locking portion and the bending moment can be reduced, the deformation of the pin can be prevented. In addition, since the bending moment is small as described above, it is possible to prevent the caulking from being loosened by an impact even when the locking portion is formed by caulking.
For these reasons, it is possible to reliably prevent deformation and shearing of the pin and the cylindrical member during carrying or impact, disconnection from the connection hole, and the like.

In the connector of the present invention, the locking portion is formed by caulking the outer peripheral portion of the cylindrical member inward, the pin has a small diameter portion and a large diameter portion, and the locked portion is: The large diameter portion is preferred.

According to this invention, since the cylindrical member and the pin are locked with each other over the entire circumference, the pin is not detached from the cylindrical member even when the pin is strongly pulled to the outside of the cylindrical member. Can be reliably locked by the cylindrical member. Further, it is possible to eliminate the need to align the cylindrical member and the pin in the circumferential direction when assembling the connector.

In the connector according to the present invention, the locking portion is a protrusion protruding toward the inner peripheral side of the cylindrical member, and the locked portion is a recess formed on the outer peripheral portion of the pin and into which the protrusion is inserted. It is preferable that

According to the present invention, the protrusion and the recess allow the tubular member and the pin to be partially engaged in the circumferential direction, thereby preventing the pin from being detached from the tubular member. A small-diameter portion that is tightly wrapped is not formed, and the strength of the pin can be ensured better. At the same time, since the locking portion of the cylindrical member is formed so as to partially protrude in the circumferential direction, it is possible to prevent the cylindrical member from being bent at the position of the locking portion at the time of impact. As a result, the strength of the coupler is further improved.

In the connector according to the present invention, it is preferable that the pin has an intermediate large-diameter portion that is in sliding contact with the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical member at a position closer to the forward direction than the locked portion.

Here, the position of the intermediate large-diameter portion is separated from the locked portion by a predetermined dimension so that a movement amount (stroke) when the pin is pushed into the cylindrical member can be secured. That is, the pin can be retracted to the inside of the cylindrical member until the intermediate large diameter portion is locked to the locking portion inside the cylindrical member.
According to the present invention, the sliding of the pin at the time of impact can be suppressed by sliding contact with the inner peripheral surface of the intermediate large-diameter portion, and the deformation and shearing of the pin can be more reliably prevented.
Further, when the pin is advanced and retracted, the intermediate large diameter portion slides on the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical member, so that the pin does not rattle, and the handleability of the connector can be improved.

A timepiece band according to the present invention is a band for mounting a timepiece, and includes the above-described connection tool and a connection portion in which the through hole is formed, and the connection portion is connected to the case of the timepiece by the connection tool. It is connected to.
The timepiece of the present invention includes a timekeeping section, a time information display section that displays timekeeping information timed by the timekeeping section, and the timepiece band described above.

According to the inventions related to these timepiece bands and timepieces, it is possible to enjoy the same functions and effects as those described above by providing the above-described coupler.
That is, the connecting tool is not damaged even during a drop impact, the reliability can be significantly improved, and the portability can be further enhanced.

ADVANTAGE OF THE INVENTION According to this invention, the intensity | strength of a connection tool can be improved significantly with respect to loads, such as a drop impact, It can contribute to the reliability of the member connected with this connection tool, and the product which has this member.

The case 2 and the band 4 are connected by inserting 3.

Hereinafter, the spring bar 3 will be described in detail.
FIG. 3 shows the external appearance of the spring bar 3. FIG. 4 is a side sectional view of the spring bar 3.
The spring bar 3 includes a substantially cylindrical tubular member 31 having a length substantially the same as the width of the band 4 (FIG. 2), two pins 32 inserted into both ends of the tubular member 31, and the tubular member. A compression coil spring 33 is disposed as an urging member that is disposed between the two pins 32 inside the member 31 and urges both the pins 32 to the outside of the cylindrical member 31.

As shown in FIG. 4 (A), each pin 32 is biased by a spring 33 to advance to the outside of the cylindrical member 31, and as shown in FIG. 4 (B), the inner side of the cylindrical member 31. The spring 33 can be retracted so as to be compressed. In this manner, the pin 32 can be advanced and retracted along the axial direction outside the cylindrical member 31.

Such a pin 32 is a stepped pin whose outer diameter changes in size, and has a front large diameter portion 321 and an intermediate large diameter portion 322 at the front end portion in the forward and backward direction, the middle portion in the axial direction, and the rear end portion in the forward and backward direction, respectively. , And a rear large diameter portion 323 as a locked portion. A small diameter portion 320 is formed between the intermediate large diameter portion 322 and the rear large diameter portion 323.

As shown in FIG. 4B, the pin 32 can be retracted until the front large-diameter portion 321 contacts the end portion 310 of the tubular member 31. When the pin 32 moves forward by the bias of the spring 33 from the state of FIG. 4B, the intermediate large diameter portion 322 just overlaps the end portion 310 of the cylindrical member 31 as shown in FIG. When the pin 32 moves forward and backward, the intermediate large diameter portion 322 and the rear large diameter portion 323 are in sliding contact with the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical member 31.
The front large-diameter portion 321 is formed with a groove 321A along the circumferential direction in which a tool or the like abuts when the pin 32 is handled.

On the other hand, in the state shown in FIG. 4B in which the pin 32 is retracted, the cylindrical member 31 is caulked along the circumferential direction at the position on the rear end side of the pin 32 with respect to the intermediate large diameter portion 322. A caulking portion 311 is formed as a locking portion protruding toward the inner peripheral side. The caulking portion 311 is located between the intermediate large diameter portion 322 and the rear large diameter portion 323. In the state of FIG. 4A in which the pin 32 is advanced by the spring 33, the rear large diameter portion 323 is the caulking portion. 311 is locked.
Here, in FIG. 4A, the dimension between the front large-diameter part 321 and the intermediate large-diameter part 322 shown by L1 is substantially the same as the dimension between the intermediate large-diameter part 322 and the caulking part 311. , L1 is a movement amount (stroke) of a predetermined dimension that the pin 32 can advance and retract.

Then, as shown in FIG. 4A, the forward advancement of the pin 32 is restricted by the locking of the rear large-diameter portion 323 to the caulking portion 311, and the pin 32 is prevented from being detached from the cylindrical member 31. Has been. The position of the caulking portion 311 is a position separated from the position of the end portion 310 of the cylindrical member 31 by the dimension obtained by adding the stroke L1 of the pin 32 and the length L2 of the intermediate large diameter portion 322.

When using such a spring bar 3, as shown in FIG. 2, the cylindrical member 31 is inserted into the through hole 421 of the end piece 42 and one pin 32 is inserted into the connecting hole 211 of the can 21. The end piece 42 is arranged between the pair of cans 21. Then, a tool or the like is brought into contact with the groove 321 </ b> A (FIG. 3), the other pin 32 is temporarily retracted to the inside of the cylindrical member 31, the end of the cylindrical member 31 is applied to the connection hole 211 of the can 21, The pin 32 is inserted into the connecting hole 211 by aligning the position of the connecting hole 211 with the position of the connecting hole 211. Then, the exposed portion 32A (FIG. 3) of the pin 32 exposed from the end portion 310 of the cylindrical member 31 is inserted into the connecting hole 211 of the can 21, and the case 2 and the band 4 are connected to each other. The end piece 42 is rotatably connected to the connection hole 211 of the can 21.

When the end piece 42 and the case 2 are thus connected, the spring bar 3 is in the state shown in FIG. 4A, and the cylindrical shape is formed between the end 310 of the cylindrical member 31 and the caulking portion 311. The member 31 and the pin 32 overlap. Thereby, in the bending moment acting on the pin 32 when the watch 1 is carried or when a drop impact is applied, the inner side of the cylindrical member 31 provided with the caulking portion 311 serves as a fulcrum, and the end 310 of the cylindrical member 31 is much larger. Power is not applied. That is, the deflection of the pin 32 in the axial direction is suppressed according to the distance from the end portion 310 of the cylindrical member 31 to the caulking portion 311 (the dimension obtained by adding L2 to L1), and the bending moment can be reduced.

According to this embodiment, the following effects are obtained.
(1) Regarding the structure for preventing the pin 32 from being detached from the cylindrical member 31 of the spring bar 3, the length L2 of the intermediate large diameter portion 322 is added to the stroke L1 of the pin 32 from the end portion 310 of the cylindrical member 31. A caulking portion 311 is formed at a position that is far away from each other, and the rear large diameter portion 323 of the pin 32 is locked to the caulking portion 311.
In such a structure, the bending moment acting on the pin 32 can be reduced according to the distance (the dimension obtained by adding L2 to L1) from the end 310 of the cylindrical member 31 to the caulking portion 311. Even when a large load is applied to the connecting portion between the can 21 and the end piece 42 at the time of a drop impact, the deformation of the pin 32 can be prevented. Further, for the same reason, the caulking portion 311 of the cylindrical member 31 can be prevented from expanding due to an impact or the like.
For these reasons, it is possible to more reliably prevent rattling of the spring bar 3 due to deformation of the pin 32 and the cylindrical member 31, detachment of the spring bar 3 from the can 21 and the end piece 42, and shearing of the pin 32. it can. That is, the strength of the spring bar 3 is greatly improved, and the spring bar 3 is not damaged in the event of a drop impact or the like, so that the reliability and portability of the timepiece 1 are also improved.

(2) In addition, this embodiment replaces the conventional means for locking the pin to the cylindrical member, that is, the means for forming a small diameter portion on the pin and caulking the end of the cylindrical member with the small diameter portion. The pin detachment prevention structure is shown, and the small-diameter portion 320 of the pin 32 is not near the end portion 310 of the tubular member 31, but the intermediate large-diameter portion 322 is formed near the end portion 310 of the tubular member 31. It is arranged. As described above, since the intermediate large diameter portion 322 is disposed in the vicinity of the end portion 310 of the cylindrical member 31 where a load is likely to act upon impact, the intermediate large diameter portion 322 and the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical member 31 are in sliding contact with each other. Therefore, the pin 32 can be prevented from swinging in the axial direction at the time of impact, and the deformation and shearing of the pin 32 can be prevented more reliably.
Further, when the pin 32 is advanced and retracted, the intermediate large diameter portion 322 and the rear large diameter portion 323 slide on the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical member 31, so that the pin 32 is not rattled and the handleability of the spring bar 3 is improved. it can.

(3) Since the cylindrical member 31 and the pin 32 are locked over the entire circumference by the caulking portion 311 and the rear large diameter portion 323, the pin 32 is pulled even when the pin 32 is strongly pulled to the outside of the cylindrical member 31. 32 does not detach from the cylindrical member 31, and the pin 32 can be reliably locked by the cylindrical member 31, and alignment of the cylindrical member 31 and the pin 32 in the circumferential direction is not necessary when the spring bar 3 is assembled. Can be.

(4) Furthermore, since the front large-diameter portion 321 is also provided in front of the pin 32, the strength of the pin 32 is further improved, and rattling of the pin 32 in the connecting hole 211 of the can 21 can be prevented. .

In the present embodiment, the end portion of the cylindrical member 31 may be caulked around the pin 32 (the end caulking portion 312) as in the spring bar 3A shown in FIG. In this way, the intermediate large-diameter portion 322 can be locked by the end caulking portion 312, the pin 32 is detached from the cylindrical member 31, and the pin 32 is detached from the can 21 or the end piece 42 at the time of impact. Can be more reliably prevented.

[Second Embodiment]
Next, a second embodiment of the present invention will be described.
In the following description, the same reference numerals are given to the same configurations as those in the embodiment described above, and the description is omitted or simplified.
In the first embodiment, the cylindrical member of the spring bar and the pin are locked over the entire circumference. However, in this embodiment, the cylindrical member of the spring bar and the pin are partially locked in the circumferential direction. This is different from the first embodiment.

FIG. 6 is a side sectional view of the spring bar 5 in the present embodiment, and FIG. 7 is an exploded perspective view of the spring bar 5.
The spring bar 5 is used to connect the end piece 42 of the band 4 to the can 21 of the case 2 of the timepiece 1 shown in FIG. 1, similarly to the spring bar 3 in the first embodiment described above. It has a cylindrical member 51 and two pins 52 that are respectively inserted into both ends of the cylindrical member 51. In FIG. 7, one of the pins 52 provided in the spring bar 5 is not shown.

Here, as shown in FIG. 7, the pin 52 of the present embodiment has a front large-diameter portion 321 and a large-diameter portion 522 from the middle in the axial direction to the rear end.
A groove 522A as a recess extending along the axial direction of the pin 52 is formed in the outer peripheral portion of the large diameter portion 522, and the both ends of the groove 522A correspond to the intermediate large diameter portion 322 in the first embodiment. The intermediate convex portion 522B and the rear end convex portion 522C corresponding to the rear large diameter portion 323 in the first embodiment are formed.
The grooves 522A, the intermediate protrusion 522B, and the rear protrusion 522C are similarly formed on the diametrically opposite side of the pin 52. That is, two locations in the circumferential direction of the pin 52, a groove 522A, an intermediate convex portion 522B, and a rear convex portion 522C are formed.

On the other hand, a part of the outer periphery of the cylindrical member 51 is caulked, and a projection 511 serving as a locking portion is provided on the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical member 51. The protrusions 511 are provided at two positions symmetrical with respect to the axial center of the cylindrical member 51.
Here, when the cylindrical member 51 and the pin 52 are assembled, the protrusion 511 is inserted into the groove 522A. When the pin 52 is advanced and retracted in the axial direction, the protrusion 511 of the cylindrical member 51 is guided along the groove 522A.
As shown in FIG. 6, the pin 52 moves forward by the urging force of the spring 33, and the rear end convex portion 522 </ b> C is locked to the protrusion 511, thereby preventing the pin 52 from coming off from the cylindrical member 51.
Then, from the state shown in FIG. 6, the amount of movement of the pin 52 from when the pin 52 is pushed into the cylindrical member 51 until the intermediate protrusion 522 </ b> B comes close to or comes into contact with the protrusion 511 is the stroke L <b> 1 of the pin 52. The position of 511 is a position away from the end portion 510 of the cylindrical member 51 by the length L2 of the intermediate protrusion 522B added to the stroke L1 of the pin 52.

According to the present embodiment, the following effects can be obtained.
(5) The structure is such that the pin 52 is prevented from being detached from the cylindrical member 51 by the engagement between the projection 511 and the rear end convex portion 522C partially formed in the circumferential direction of the cylindrical member 51 and the pin 52. Therefore, a small diameter portion that is confined over the entire circumference of the pin 52 is not formed, and the strength of the pin 52 can be better secured. At the same time, the caulking portion of the cylindrical member 51 is also held at a part in the circumferential direction to form the projection 511, so that the tubular member 51 can be prevented from being bent at the caulking portion. As a result, the strength of the spring bar 5 is further improved.

A modification of the present embodiment is shown in FIG.
The spring bar 6 shown in FIG. 8 includes a cylindrical member 61 and a pin 62 that are substantially the same as the spring bar 5 described above. The difference from the spring bar 5 is that the pin 62 is replaced with a groove 522A (FIG. 6). Only the point that the concave portion 622A chamfered along the axial direction is formed, and that the projection 611 as the engaging portion that is recessed toward the concave portion 622A is formed on the cylindrical member 61. It is.
That is, both sides of the concave portion 622A of the pin 62 are an intermediate convex portion 522B and a rear end convex portion 522C, and the position of the protrusion 611 is the amount of the cylindrical member 61 corresponding to the stroke L1 plus the length L2 of the intermediate convex portion 522B. The position is away from the end 610.
Such a spring bar 6 also has the same operation and effect as the above-described spring bar 5.

[Third Embodiment]
Next, a third embodiment of the present invention will be described.
FIG. 9 is an external view of the timepiece 7 of this embodiment, and FIG. 10 is a side view of the timepiece 7. The watch 7 of the present embodiment has a profound design in which a stainless steel material (solid structure) is used for the case 70 and the band 8, and the connection structure of the band 8 to the case 70 is 8 is a fixed type that does not rotate with respect to the case 70.

The case 70 includes a body portion 71 having a substantially rectangular tube shape and a back cover 72 (FIG. 10) that covers one end side of the body portion 71.
A crown 73 is provided in the 3 o'clock direction of the body portion 71, and operation buttons 74 and 75 for a stopwatch function are provided in the 2 o'clock and 4 o'clock directions with the crown 73 interposed therebetween, respectively.
In addition, a pair of cans 701 projecting from the side surface of the body portion 71 are provided on each side of the body portion 71 in the 6 o'clock direction and the 12 o'clock direction. Each of the pair of cans 701 is coaxially formed with a connection hole 701A into which the spring bar 3 (FIG. 3) described in the first embodiment is inserted.
The band 8 is configured by combining a plurality of pieces 81 and has end pieces 82 at both ends as connecting portions respectively disposed between the pair of cans 701 in the 6 o'clock direction and the 12 o'clock direction of the case 70.
The end piece 82 is a substantially rectangular plate-like member having a rectangular plane, and a through hole 821 is formed in the width direction of the band 8 in substantially the same manner as the end piece 42 in the first embodiment, and the spring bar 3 is formed in the through hole 821. (FIG. 3) is inserted. However, unlike the end piece 42 in the first embodiment, the side surface of the end piece 82 is disposed so as to contact the side surface of the case 70 between the pair of cans 701.

In such a configuration, when the end piece 82 is connected to the can 701 of the case 70, the tubular member 31 (FIG. 3) of the spring bar 3 is inserted into the through hole 821 of the end piece 82 and one of the pins 32. Is inserted into the connecting hole 701A of the can 701. Then, with the other pin 32 retracted into the cylindrical member 31, the pin 32 is aligned with the connecting hole 701 </ b> A of the can 701, and the pin 32 is connected to the connecting hole by the biasing force of the spring 33. Insert 701A.
As described above, the end piece 82 connected to the case 70 in this way is in contact with the side surface of the case 70 as described above, and thus does not rotate around the spring bar 3.

According to the present embodiment, the following effects can be obtained.
(6) By using the above-described spring bar 3 to connect the timepiece 7 and the band 8 of the present embodiment, the end piece 82 is fixed so as not to rotate with respect to the case 70 by the spring bar 3, and the weight Since the band 8 and the case 70 are formed of a certain material, the load on the spring bar 3 during impact is large, but the spring bar 3 is deformed, detached from the connecting portion, shearing, etc. The possibility of damage can be prevented more reliably. That is, the effect of the spring bar 3 can be maximized. In particular, when adopting a structure in which the rotation of the plurality of pieces 81 connected to the end piece 82 is restricted to be small, the load on the spring bar 3 is further increased, and the effect of the spring bar 3 is further increased. .
In the present embodiment, the above-described spring bars 5 and 6 may be used instead of the spring bar 3.
