- 撮影により得られた入力画像のダイナミックレンジを圧縮する医用画像処理装置であって、
前記入力画像に対して、撮影手技に対応した撮影部位情報に基づき、関心領域を設定する関心領域設定手段と、
この設定された関心領域から前記入力画像を構成する画素値の特徴量を抽出する特徴量抽出手段と、
前記特徴量に対応した目標出力値を前記撮影手技ごとに設定する目標出力値設定手段と、
前記特徴量が前記目標出力値に近似するように前記入力画像の画素分布を画素値変換して出力する変換処理手段とを有することを特徴とする医用画像処理装置。 - 前記入力画像の画素分布を平滑化する平滑化手段を有し、
前記変換処理手段は、前記平滑化処理手段によって平滑化された画素分布を画素値変換して出力することを特徴とする請求項１に記載の医用画像処理装置。
