Description

The present invention relates to a waste container for a syringe needle. More specifically, the present invention relates to a syringe waste container that can safely and easily be removed and discarded by one hand with a syringe needle screwed to the tip of a syringe body via a syringe needle holder.

In general, a syringe used in a hospital or the like is a so-called plug-in type syringe in which an injection needle is inserted into a discharge pipe of a syringe body via a synthetic resin holding portion (hub). A used needle must be removed to replace a new needle after each injection. The operation of removing and discarding the used injection needle is not preferable if the operator directly grips the injection needle or the holding tube with his / her hand, and the hand or finger may be damaged by the used injection needle.

Therefore, various types of syringe waste containers that can safely remove a used syringe needle from the syringe body have been proposed. As such a waste container, for example, in order to remove the used injection needle inserted into the tip of the syringe with respect to the lid of the container, a member for removing the injection needle continuously with the insertion hole of the injection needle. A used syringe needle disposal container in which a stop groove is formed has been proposed (see, for example, Patent Document 1).

On the other hand, recently, various pen-type syringes have been proposed as syringes used for diabetic patients to regularly inject insulin themselves several times a day. In such a pen-type syringe, there are many so-called screw-type syringes in which an injection needle is screwed to the tip of the syringe body via an injection needle holder.

In such a screw type syringe, when the used injection needle is removed from the syringe body, it is necessary to release the screwing between the injection needle holder and the syringe body, which is applicable to the conventional insertion type syringe. Could not be removed using the discarded waste container. Therefore, conventionally, a diabetic patient who is unfamiliar with work has to remove a used injection needle directly by hand, which is problematic in terms of safety and time.

The present invention has been made to solve such a problem, and an injection needle that can be safely and easily removed and discarded with one hand by an injection needle screwed into the tip of a syringe body via an injection needle holder. The purpose is to provide a waste container for needles.

The waste container for a syringe needle of the present invention is a waste container for a syringe needle for discarding a syringe needle screwed to the tip of a syringe body via a syringe needle holder,
At least one insertion hole having the same size as the outer diameter of the injection holder is formed on the upper surface of the surface constituting the container in order to insert the injection needle holder.
In the vicinity of the insertion hole, a meshing portion that prohibits rotation of the syringe needle holder is provided by meshing with a recess formed on the outer peripheral surface of the syringe needle holder,
The meshing protrusion has two elastic projections projecting so as to face the inside of the insertion hole and face each other at the inner peripheral edge of the insertion hole, and function as a spring. Including
The rotation of the injection needle holder is prohibited by engaging the engagement protrusion with a recess provided on the outer periphery of the injection needle holder.

According to the present invention, the injection needle screwed into the distal end of the syringe body via the injection needle holder can be safely and easily removed and discarded with one hand.

Next, the syringe waste container of the present invention will be described in more detail with reference to the drawings. FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view taken along the line II-II in FIG. 1, and FIG. 3 is a pen-type syringe with a syringe needle screwed to the tip of the syringe body. 4 is an exploded perspective view, FIG. 4 is a perspective explanatory view showing a state in which the injection needle screwed into the distal end of the syringe body is inserted into the insertion hole of the disposal container of FIG. 1, and FIG. 5 is removed from the syringe body of FIG. FIG. 6 is an explanatory view showing a state in which the injection needle stays inside the insertion hole of the waste container. FIG. 6 is a plan view of the insertion hole having a meshing portion including a plurality of meshing protrusions and meshing grooves of the waste container of FIG. These are the top views of the insertion hole which has a meshing part which consists of two meshing grooves which shows other embodiment of this invention.

The injection needle disposal container shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 is an injection needle 24 of a pen-type injector 21 shown in FIG. 3 in which an injection needle 24 is screwed onto the tip of a syringe body 22 via an injection needle holder 23. It is a container for discarding. The disposal container includes a container body 1 and a lid 2 that covers the upper surface of the container body 1. One insertion hole 4 for inserting the injection needle holder 23 is formed in the upper surface 3 of the container body 1 at a position deviated from the axial center of the container body 1.

In the present embodiment, one insertion hole 4 is formed in the upper surface 3 of the container body 1, but the present invention is not limited to this, and at least of the surfaces constituting the waste container. It is only necessary that at least one insertion hole for inserting the injection needle holder is formed on one surface, for example, a plurality of insertion holes may be formed on the upper surface of the container body, An insertion hole may be formed on the side surface of the container body.

The insertion hole 4 has substantially the same size as the outer shape of the injection needle holder 23. In the vicinity of the insertion hole 4, a convex portion 23a formed on the outer peripheral surface of the injection needle holder 23 and / or A meshing portion that prohibits rotation of the injection needle holder 23 by meshing with the recess 23b is provided. As shown in FIGS. 4 to 6, the meshing portion of the present embodiment includes a plurality of meshing protrusions 5 protruding from the inner periphery of the insertion hole 4 toward the inner side of the insertion hole 4, and the insertion It consists of a plurality of meshing grooves 6 formed from the inner peripheral edge of the hole 4 to the outside of the insertion hole 4.

The container main body 1 is made of, for example, a metal can such as tinplate or steel, and the container main body 1 is manufactured by winding a top plate and a bottom plate on the top and bottom of a cylindrical body. The shape and dimensions of the container main body 1 are not particularly limited in the present invention, and other shapes such as a cube and a rectangular parallelepiped can be adopted in addition to the cylindrical shape, for example.

In the present embodiment, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, a lid 2 that covers the upper surface 3 of the container body 1 is rotatably provided. The lid 2 may be screwed into the container body 1 or may simply be slid on the upper surface of the container body 1. The lid 2 may be made of metal like the container body 1 or may be made of other materials such as synthetic resin.

The lid 2 is formed with an exposure hole 7 for exposing the insertion hole 4 on the upper surface of the container body 1 to the outside. The exposure hole 7 is slightly larger than the insertion hole 4 and is formed at a position away from the axial center of the container body 1 by the same distance as the distance from the axial center of the container body 1 to the insertion hole 4. Yes. Therefore, when the waste container is not used, the insertion hole 4 of the waste container can be covered with the lid 2, and there is no fear that the used injection needle accumulated in the container spills out. Further, it is possible to prevent injury by touching the meshing protrusion 5 of the insertion hole 4 by mistake. On the other hand, when the waste container is used, the insertion hole 4 can be easily exposed to the outside simply by rotating the lid 2 so that the positions of the exposure hole 7 and the insertion hole 4 coincide with each other. Can be discarded. In the present embodiment, the exposure hole 7 is formed in the lid 2, but it may not be formed.

The engagement protrusion 5 may be selected to have a size and number that can stop the rotation of the injection needle holder 23 by engaging with a recess 23 b formed on the outer periphery of the injection needle holder 23.

The engagement groove 6 only needs to be selected to have a size and the number that can stop the rotation of the injection needle holder 23 by engaging with the convex portion 23 a formed on the outer periphery of the injection needle holder 23.

In the present embodiment, as shown in FIG. 5, the plurality of meshing protrusions 5 and the meshing grooves 6 are arranged radially, but the present invention is not limited to this, and the injection needle holder 23. If the rotation of the injection needle holder can be prohibited by meshing with the convex portion 23a and / or the concave portion 23b formed on the outer peripheral surface, various modes can be adopted. That is, only one of the meshing part 5 and the meshing groove 6 can be formed, or the number thereof can be one or plural. For example, as another embodiment of the present invention, as shown in FIG. 7, the engagement groove 6 is formed corresponding to the case where two convex portions 23 a are formed on the outer peripheral surface of the injection needle holder 23. Even if two meshing portions are employed, the rotation of the injection needle holder 23 can be prohibited. On the contrary, two engaging protrusions 5 are formed at opposing positions, and the engaging protrusions 5 are engaged with the recesses 23b on the outer periphery of the injection needle holder 23 to rotate the injection needle holder 23. It can also be prohibited.

The meshing portion including the meshing protrusion 5 and the meshing groove 6 can be formed easily and with few steps if it is formed together with the insertion hole 4 by punching out a metal thin plate constituting the upper surface of the container body 1.

The pen-type syringe 21 shown in FIG. 3 is widely marketed worldwide as a syringe that is used for diabetic patients to inject insulin by themselves regularly several times a day. In this pen-type syringe 21, a threaded portion 26 is screwed into a male threaded portion 25 formed at the distal end of the syringe body 22 and is formed on the inner peripheral surface of the syringe needle holder 23 to which the syringe needle 24 is fixed. Thus, the injection needle holder 23 can be detachably screwed onto the tip of the syringe body 22.

Using the waste container configured as described above, a syringe needle (specifically, a syringe needle holder to which the syringe needle 24 is fixed) is screwed into the tip of the syringe body 22 of the pen-type syringe 21 of FIG. 23) is removed after use and discarded, the lid 2 is rotated to align the exposure hole 7 with the insertion hole 4, and then, as shown in FIG. 23 is inserted into the insertion hole 4. Thereby, the concave portion 23b and the convex portion 23a formed on the outer peripheral surface of the injection needle holder 23 are respectively engaged with the engagement protrusion 5 and the engagement groove 6 on the inner peripheral edge of the insertion hole 4, and the injection needle holder 23 cannot rotate. To be fixed. If the pen-type syringe 21 is rotated with one hand in this state, only the syringe main body 22 is rotated, and the injection needle holder 23 fixed by the engagement protrusion 5 and the engagement groove 6 is released from engagement with the injection body 22. .

Thereafter, when the syringe body 22 is lifted, the injection is performed in a state where the flange portion 23c in which the concave portion 23b is not formed on the outer peripheral surface of the injection needle holder 23 is engaged with the meshing protrusion 5 as shown in FIG. The needle holder 23 remains inside the insertion hole 4. The syringe needle holder 23 staying inside the insertion hole 4 is pushed into the disposal container and dropped to the bottom of the container when the used syringe needle is discarded next time, for example. In this case, the meshing protrusion 5 in the present embodiment has elasticity and functions like a spring. Therefore, even if the container is inverted after dropping the injection needle, It is possible to reliably prevent the injection needle from coming out.

In addition, when the injection needle holder 23 has no flange portion 23c and the recess 23b is formed over the entire length of the holder, the injection needle holder 23 is released from meshing with the syringe body 22, Fall to the bottom of the waste container.

After the disposal of the injection needle is completed, if the cover 2 is rotated to move the exposure hole 7 to a position where it does not overlap the insertion hole 4, the insertion hole 4 is covered with the cover 2 from the outside.
