Abstract

(4)前記(c)テルペン系溶剤の配合割合が全体の2%以上、30%以下の範囲にある洗浄剤組成物。

本発明の実施形態を以下に説明する。
(1)請求項1の発明は50%から90%の割合の(a)グリコールエーテル系溶剤と、(b)脂環式エステル化合物と、(c)テルペン系溶剤の3成分からなることを要旨とする。油性マジック、ペイント、油汚れを効果的に落とすには各種の溶剤の組み合わせが考えられる。しかし、一般的に溶剤はその種類によっては、プラスチックスを溶解し、表面を劣化させる。これらのことを考慮し、ある特定種の溶剤の組み合わせがこれら汚れ落としと、下地に対する影響の無いことの、両方兼ね備えることを見出したのである。
(2)主要構成要素であるグリコールエーテル系溶剤は、そのもの単独では油性マジッや油性ペイントに対する洗浄除去能力は他の2成分に比べ強くない。しかしながら他の2成分を充分溶解し、その洗浄除去力を引き出すための媒体として有効である。
(3)グリコールエーテル系溶剤も選ばなくてはならない。沸点が150℃未満の場合、除去しようとする汚れの上に塗布した時、条件によってはそこにとどまっている時間が短くなり、充分に汚れを除去出来ない。たとえば夏場、外部で使用した場合など充分汚れが落ちる前に乾燥してしまい、その効果が発揮できない。洗浄力を充分に発揮するにはある程度の時間洗浄剤が汚れの上に留まっている必要がある。沸点が230℃超の場合、一般的にその粘度が高く実際に使用する場合には不都合である。また他の溶剤との相溶性にも不十分なことが多い。
(4)(b)脂環式エステル化合物としてはγ−ブチロラクトンが良い。特に油性ペイントの硬化した塗膜をよく溶解除去する。また、溶解が困難なウレタン、エポキシなど反応硬化型の塗膜の溶解にも効果的である。
(5)この発明は3成分からなることを要素とするが、もう1成分は(c)テルペン系溶剤である。これは油性マジックなどの油汚れの除去に効果が高い。このように、選ばれたグリコールエーテル系溶剤を媒体に、特定の脂環式エステルとテルペン系溶剤を混合することにより、従来の洗浄剤では困難であった油性系の汚れ、油性ペイント、油性マジックなどが簡単に除去で出来ることを見出したのである。
(6)グリコールエーテル系溶剤の配合割合は50%未満では他の2成分の割合が相対的に増え、下地のプラスチックスなどに対する影響が大きくなる。また90%超では、汚れに対する溶解、洗浄力が落ちる。50%以上90%以下が良い。
(7)(c)テルペン系溶剤の配合割合は2%〜30%が良い。これ以上では下地のプラスチックスに対する影響が大きく、少ない場合は油性系汚れの除去に効果が低くなる。
