Abstract
Description
縦方向に対してcosec2の感度パターンを有するアンテナを備える基地局を設け、
全方向性アンテナを備える移動局を設け、
一方の基地局および移動局から他方の移動局および基地局に測距信号を送信し、
受信測距信号の送信信号との比較による相対信号強度を測定して、移動局から基地局までの横方向距離の大きさを得る、
ことを含む。
Claims (10)
- 実質的に直交する縦方向(4)および横方向(6)に延びる通路(10)および/または壁(8)を有する建造物(2)における屋内の測位方法であって、
縦方向に対してcosec2の感度パターンを有するアンテナ(28)を備える基地局(20)を設け、
全方向性アンテナ(30)を備える移動局(26)を設け、
一方の前記基地局(20)および前記移動局(26)から他方の前記移動局(26)および基地局(20)に測距信号を送信し、
受信した測距信号の、前記送信信号との比較による、相対信号強度を測定して、前記移動局(26)から前記基地局(20)までの横方向距離の大きさを得る、
方法。 - 第2の基地局(22)を設け、
一方の前記第2の基地局(22)および前記移動局(26)から他方の前記第2の基地局(22)および前記移動局(26)に第2の測距信号を送信し、
複数の前記基地局と前記移動局との間で送信される前記測距信号からのデータを使用して、前記移動局の位置を決定する、
ことをさらに含む請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記第2の基地局が、横方向に対してcosec2の感度パターンを有するアンテナを備える請求項2に記載の方法。
- 第3の基地局(24)を設け、
一方の前記第3の基地局(24)および前記移動局(26)から他方の前記第3の基地局(24)および前記移動局(26)に第3の測距信号を送信し、
複数の前記基地局(20、22、24)と前記移動局との間で送信される前記測距信号からのデータを使用して、前記移動局(26)の位置を決定する、
ことをさらに含む請求項2または3に記載の方法。 - 前記第3の基地局が、垂直方向に対してcosec2の感度パターンを有するアンテナを備える請求項4に記載の方法。
- 好ましい縦方向(4)および横方向(6)を有する建造物において、移動局(26)の位置を求めるのに使用される基地局(20)であって、
アンテナ(28)と、
測距信号を前記アンテナ(28)を介して前記移動局に送信し、かつ/または前記移動局から受信するように構成される送信機および/または受信機(32)と、
を備え、
前記アンテナ(28)は、ビルディング内の縦方向、横方向、または垂直方向に対してcosec2の感度パターンを有する、
基地局。 - 実質的に直交する縦方向および横方向に延びる通路および壁を有する建造物において、移動局の位置を求めるためのシステムであって、
請求項6に記載の複数の基地局(20、22、24)と、
全方向性アンテナ(30)を有する移動局(26)と、
を備え、
前記システムは、前記移動局(26)と前記基地局(20、22、24)との間で測距信号を送信し、それらの送信強度に対する受信測距信号の減衰を測定するように構成されている、
システム。 - 前記測定減衰値と前記基地局の位置とから前記移動局の位置を計算するためのコードをさらに備える請求項7に記載のシステム。
- 実質的に直交する縦方向(4)および横方向(6)に延びる通路(10)および壁(8)を有するビルディング(2)と、
前記ビルディング内に設備された請求項6に記載の複数の基地局(20、22、24)と、
を備え、
前記基地局(20)のうちの第1の基地局が、前記ビルディング内における縦方向(4)に向いたcosec2のパターンを有する向きのアンテナ(28)を備え、
前記基地局(22)のうちの第2の基地局が、前記ビルディング内において横方向(6)に向いたcosec2のパターンを有する向きのアンテナ(28)を備えた、
設備済システム。 - 前記基地局(24)のうちの第3の基地局が、前記ビルディング内における垂直方向(12)に向いたcosec2のパターンを有する向きのアンテナ(28)を有する請求項9に記載の設備されたシステム。
