Abstract
Description
本発明は、少なくとも1つの誘電性の、低屈折性の、干渉色を示す層を有し、該層中に官能基を介して層材料と相互作用できる極性有機溶剤が挿入されている角度変色性光沢顔料に関する。
− 非吸収性材料:
金属酸化物、例えば二酸化チタン、酸化チタン水和物、二酸化ジルコニウム、酸化ジルコニウム水和物、二酸化スズ、酸化スズ水和物、酸化亜鉛、酸化亜鉛水和物及びその混合物、その際、二酸化チタン及び酸化チタン水和物及び約5質量%までの別の金属酸化物、特に二酸化スズ、また二酸化ケイ素を含有するその混合物が有利である;オキシ塩化ビスマス;金属硫化物、例えば硫化亜鉛;
− 選択的吸収性の材料:
金属酸化物及び金属窒化物、例えば特に有利には酸化鉄(III)(α−及びγ−Fe2O3)、酸化クロム(III)、酸化チタン(III)及び窒化チタン(TiN及びオキシ窒化チタンTiOxNy)、その際、二酸化チタンとの混合物中には一般に少量の酸化チタン及び窒化チタンが存在し、またバナジン酸ビスマス及び亜酸化モリブデン(モリブデンブルー)並びに選択的吸収性の着色剤で“着色された”無色の金属酸化物層、例えば選択的吸収性の金属カチオンでドーピングされているか又は着色剤含有被膜で被覆されている二酸化チタン及び二酸化ジルコニウムからなる層;

A)本発明による光沢顔料の製造
実施例1
1.5lのエチレングリコール中の300gの、EP−A−708154号の例1と同様に得られた二酸化ケイ素及び酸化鉄(III)で被覆されたアルミニウム顔料(平均粒径17μmのアルミニウムフレーク、63質量%のSiO2、10質量%のFe2O3)の懸濁液を4時間、還流加熱(191℃)した。110℃に冷却した後に、該顔料を濾過分離し、そして更なるエチレングリコールで洗浄した。72質量%の顔料ペーストが得られた。
1.5lのエチレングリコール中の実施例1からの300gの光沢顔料の懸濁液を4時間、還流加熱した。16.5gの3−グリシジルオキシプロピルトリメトキシシランの10分間の添加後に、更に2時間、還流加熱(191℃)した。実施例1と同様に後処理した後に、74質量%の顔料ペーストが得られた。
実施例2と同様の措置をとるが、8.3gだけの3−グリシジルオキシプロピルトリメトキシシランを使用した。
実施例2と同様の措置をとるが、4.1gだけの3−グリシジルオキシプロピルトリメトキシシランを使用した。
実施例2と同様の措置をとるが、17.4gの3−メタクリルオキシプロピルトリエトキシシランを使用した。
実施例2と同様の措置をとるが、10.4gのビニルトリメトキシシランを使用した。
実施例2と同様の措置をとるが、7.5gのプロピルトリエトキシシランを使用した。
実施例2と同様の措置をとるが、それぞれ170℃にまでだけ加熱した。72質量%の顔料ペーストが得られた。
実施例2と同様の措置をとるが、顔料ペーストを100℃で乾燥させた。
実施例2と同様の措置をとるが、顔料ペーストを130℃で乾燥させた。
1.5lのエチレングリコール中の実施例1からの300gの光沢顔料の懸濁液を4時間、還流加熱した。懸濁液を120℃に冷却させ、そして16.5gの3−グリシジルオキシプロピルトリメトキシシランの10分の添加後に、更に2時間前記の温度で撹拌した。実施例1と同様に後処理した後に、72質量%の顔料ペーストが得られた。
実施例2と同様の措置をとるが、150gだけの光沢顔料及び、1mlの水及び1mlの濃酢酸の添加によって使用の1時間前に予め加水分解された8.3gの3−グリシジルオキシプロピルトリメトキシシランを使用した。72質量%の顔料ペーストが得られた。
実施例と同様の措置をとるが、EP−A−708154号の例1と同様にして得られた、二酸化ケイ素及び酸化鉄(III)で被覆された300gのアルミニウム顔料(平均粒径16μmのアルミニウムフレーク、62質量%のSiO2、14質量%のFe2O3)を使用した。70質量%の顔料ペーストが得られた。
実施例13と同様の措置をとるが、まず8時間、還流加熱し、そしてシランの添加後に更に6時間還流加熱した。74質量%の顔料ペーストが得られた。
得られた顔料の色特性の評価のために、アクリレートベースの768gの水系焼き付け塗料(20質量%の固体含量)中にそれぞれ32gの顔料を撹拌導入し、そしてプロペラ型撹拌機で30分間1700回転/分で分散させた。得られた塗料を、次いで6回の噴霧工程で黒色/白色に塗装されたアルミニウム板上に隠蔽適用し、そして15分間のフラッシュオフ及び水系焼き付けクリヤーコートの塗布後に130℃で30分間焼き付けた。
その際、以下の意味を有する:
dL*=L* p−L* b:試料と基準との明度差
da*=a* p−a* b:試料と基準との赤緑差
db*=b* p−b* b:試料と基準との黄青差
色差dE*は、彩度、色相及び明度に関する試料と基準との間の差異の大きさについての尺度である。dE*値が小さければ小さいほど、試料と基準の色特性はより高く一致する。
Claims (10)
- 少なくとも1つの誘電性の、低屈折性の、干渉色を示す層を有し、該層中に官能基を介して層材料と相互作用できる極性有機溶剤が挿入されている角度変色性光沢顔料。
- 少なくとも1つの誘電性の、低屈折性の、干渉色を示す層を有し、かつ官能基を介して層材料と相互作用できる極性有機溶剤中で熱処理されている角度変色性光沢顔料。
- 有機溶剤としてエチレングリコールが使用されている、請求項1又は2記載の光沢顔料。
- 付加的にシランで処理されている、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項記載の光沢顔料。

[式中、変値は以下の意味を有する:
Rは、一不飽和又は多不飽和であり、かつ/又はC1〜C6−アルカノールオキシ、ハロゲン、アミノ及び/又は飽和もしくは不飽和の、エポキシ基を有してよいC1〜C6−アルコキシによって置換されていてよい、C1〜C18−アルキル基であり、その際、基Rは、a>1の場合は同一又は異なってよく;
Xは、C1〜C4−アルコキシであり、その際、基Xは、b>1の場合は同一又は異なってよく;
aは1、2又は3であり;
bは1、2又は3であり、その際、合計a+b=4である]のシランで処理されている、請求項4記載の光沢顔料。 - 付加的に、一般式Ia
R′SiX′3 Ia
[式中、変値は以下の意味を有する:
R′は、末端で飽和又は不飽和の、エポキシ基を有してよいC2〜C4−アルコキシによって置換されていてよいビニル又はプロピルであり、
X′はメトキシ又はエトキシである]のシランで処理されている、請求項4又は5記載の光沢顔料。 - 請求項1から3までのいずれか1項記載の光沢顔料の製造方法において、顔料粒子を有機溶剤中で温度≧100℃に加熱することを特徴とする光沢顔料の製造方法。
- 請求項4から6までのいずれか1項記載の光沢顔料の製造方法において、加熱の前、間及び/又は後にシランを添加することを特徴とする光沢顔料の製造方法。
- 塗料、印刷インキ、インキ、プラスチック、ガラス、セラミック製品及び装飾化粧品の着色のための、請求項1から6までのいずれか1項記載の光沢顔料の使用。
- 焼き付け塗料及び粉末塗料の着色のための、請求項1から6までのいずれか1項記載の光沢顔料の使用。
