Abstract

Description
本発明は、全体としてタッチパッドに関する。更に詳細には、本発明は、コンピュータモニター、PDA、又は携帯電話等の視認スクリーン又はディスプレースクリーン上に配置できる透明タッチパッドに関する。タッチパッドは使用者がディスプレースクリーンのいずれのゾーンと接触しているのかを確認できる。
別の目的は、ほぼ透明な基材に一つの作用電極及び一つの感知電極を設けることである。
別の目的は、ゾーンに接触する物体を検出し、物体がいずれのゾーンを検出したのかを確認できる単層タッチパッドを提供することである。
別の目的は、タッチパッドの一つの作用電極及び一つの感知電極が所望のパターンで配置されており、ディスプレースクリーンを見たときに所望のパターンを最小の干渉で見ることができる、単層タッチパッドを提供することである。

Claims (1)
- ディスプレースクリーンを持つ装置へ入力を提供するための単層タッチパッドにおいて、
タッチ感知領域の少なくとも二つの別個の領域に配置された、ディスプレースクリーン上に配置された場合にほぼ透明な第1作用電極、
前記少なくとも二つの別個の領域の前記第1作用電極と隣接して配置された、前記ディスプレースクリーン上に配置された場合にほぼ透明な感知電極、及び
前記第1作用電極及び前記感知電極に接続されたタッチパッド感知回路を含み、前記タッチパッド感知回路は、先が尖った物体が前記タッチ感知領域と接触したときにこれを確認し、前記タッチパッド感知回路は、前記先が尖った物体が前記少なくとも二つの別個の領域のいずれと接触したのかを確認する、単層タッチパッド。
