Description

The present invention relates to a mat switch, in particular, there are very few non-sensing parts, and even if the bottom area of an object to which a load is applied is small, a good switching function can be exhibited, and the restoration function at the time of switching off the switch is excellent. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a mat switch that can be easily transported in a wound state.

An example of a conventional mat switch is shown in FIG.
The mat switch 30 has a laminated structure in which an insulating material 33 having elasticity is sandwiched between a pair of upper and lower electrodes 31 and 32, and a load is applied to the upper and lower electrodes 31 and 32 on the insulating material 33. It is known that a required number of hole groups for partial contact and on-operation are provided in an appropriate arrangement.

Moreover, the outer periphery of such a laminated structure is covered with a jacket 35 made of rubber or the like. As the shape of each hole 34 forming the hole group, for example, a lattice hole, a circular hole, an elliptical hole or the like is usually adopted.

However, in the case of the mat switch 30, the pair of electrodes 31 and 32 is in contact with the upper electrode 31 even in the portion where the insulating material 33 other than the region of the individual holes 34 exists. Therefore, the mat switch 30 as a whole includes a problem that the area of the non-sensitive portion is considerably large.

Further, even when a load having a bottom surface having a size larger than the diameter of the hole 34 in the insulating material 33 acts on the upper electrode 31, the upper electrode 31 is bent and brought into contact with the lower electrode 32 to turn on the operation. It includes the problem that it is difficult to do.

Furthermore, the electrodes 31 and 32 made of a metal plate are easily plastically deformed by the impact of a fallen object or the like, causing a short circuit in the hole 34 provided in the insulating material 33 and causing a malfunction. Since the electrodes 31 and 32 are used, it is difficult to carry the mat switch 30 in a wound state.

A mat switch using a pair of electrodes made of metal mesh lines instead of the electrodes 31 and 32 made of metal plates is also known. However, in the case of a mat switch having such a configuration, the mat switch can be transported in a wound state, but a restoring force for turning off the mat switch can be obtained from an electrode made of a metal mesh wire. It is necessary to depend on the restoring force of the elastic insulating material 33. As a result, the thickness of the insulating material 33, the elastic characteristics, the opening arrangement of the holes 34, etc. It includes the problem that the conditions are extremely complicated. Moreover, the problem that the area | region of a non-detection part is quite large depending on the pitch between the mesh lines of a metal mesh line is also included.

In Patent Document 1, a soft elastic insulator formed by dispersing a plurality of through holes opened on both front and back surfaces on a plate surface, a pair of conductors disposed on both front and back surfaces of the soft elastic insulator, There has been proposed a mat switch device including a plurality of conductive rolling elements confined in a space defined by a through hole and a pair of conductive elements.

However, also in the mat switch device of Patent Document 1, as in the case of the mat switch 30, a load acts on the upper conductor, for example, in the portion where the soft elastic insulator other than the area of each through hole exists. Even if it is, it is a non-sensing part which a pair of conductor does not contact, Therefore, the area | region of a non-sensing part is included considerably as a whole mat switch.
JP 2002-163950 A

The problem to be solved is that it has a simple structure, but there are very few undetectable parts, and even if the bottom area of the object to which the load is applied is small, a good switch function can be exhibited, and restoration at switch-off switching There is no mat switch that is excellent in function and that can be easily transported in a wound state.

The mat switch of the present invention includes a lower electrode made of a cloth-like conductor, an elastic lattice-like insulator laminated on the lower electrode, an upper electrode made of a cloth-like conductor laminated on the lattice-like insulator, The most important feature is to have an elastic cushioning material laminated on the upper electrode.

According to the first to third aspects of the present invention, the lower electrode made of a cloth-like conductor, the lattice-like insulator laminated on the lower electrode, the upper electrode made of the cloth-like conductor laminated on the lattice-like insulator, It consists of an elastic cushioning material laminated on the electrode, and a jacket covering them. It has a simple structure, has an excellent restoration function when switching off, and easily turns the mat switch itself. A mat switch that can be transported as a rotating state can be provided.
According to the first to third aspects of the invention, in particular, the grid-like insulator is formed into a grid of about 10 × 10 mm using an elastic material having a diameter of about 1 mm, so that there are very few undetectable portions. It is possible to provide a mat switch capable of exhibiting a good switch function even if the bottom area of an object to which a load is applied is small.
According to the invention described in claim 4, the upper electrode and the elastic buffer material according to claims 1 to 3 are made of a conductive sponge having a function as the upper electrode and a function as the elastic buffer material. Therefore, it is possible to provide a mat switch that can exhibit the effects of the inventions of claims 1 to 3 more efficiently.

Although the present invention has a simple structure, there are very few undetectable parts, and even if the bottom area of the object to which the load is applied is small, it can exert a good switching function, and it has an excellent restoration function at the time of switching off the switch, Furthermore, for the purpose of providing a mat switch that can be easily transported in a wound state, the mat switch itself is provided with a lower electrode made of a cloth-like conductor, and an insulating material having a diameter of about 1 mm laminated on the lower electrode. A lattice-like insulator formed in a lattice shape of about 10 × 10 mm using a material, an upper electrode made of a cloth-like conductor laminated on the lattice-like insulator, and a sponge having a thickness of about 2 mm laminated on the upper electrode This is realized by a configuration having an elastic cushioning material made of, etc., and a jacket made of a rubber material or the like covering the outer periphery of the lower electrode, the lattice insulator, the upper electrode, and the elastic buffering material.

Examples of the present invention will be described in detail below.
A mat switch 1 according to the present embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 is applied to an application for detecting the entrance / exit of a customer by installing on a floor of an entrance / exit of a building such as a store. A grid shape formed in a grid shape with a vertical and horizontal interval of about 10 × 10 mm using a lower electrode 2 made of a conductive cloth and an insulating material made of, for example, a sponge wire material having a diameter of about 1 mm laminated on the lower electrode 2 An insulator 3, an upper electrode 4 made of a cloth-like conductor (for example, a conductive cloth) laminated on the lattice-like insulator 3, and a sponge, rubber material, etc. about 2 mm thick laminated on the upper electrode 4 It has an elastic buffer material 5 and a jacket 6 made of a rubber material or the like coated so as to cover the entire outer periphery of the lower electrode 2, the lattice-like insulator 3, the upper electrode 4 and the elastic buffer material 5.
The upper electrode 4 and the elastic buffer material 5 are integrally joined using, for example, an adhesive. Of course, in addition to the case described above, the diameter and the vertical and horizontal intervals of the sponge-like linear material of the lattice-like insulator 3 can be set to various diameters such as a diameter of 1.5 mm, 20 mm, and a vertical and horizontal length of 15 × 15 mm. It is.

Further, the mat switch 1 according to the present embodiment has, for example, a rectangular shape such as 30 × 60 cm or 60 × 90 cm as a whole in plan view. In addition, it can of course be formed in various shapes such as a circular shape and an elliptical shape. In the present invention, the upper electrode and the elastic buffer material may be formed of a sponge made of a conductive material having a function as an upper electrode and a function as an elastic buffer material.

According to the mat switch 1 according to the present embodiment having the above-described configuration, the lower electrode 2 made of a cloth-like conductor, the lattice-like insulator 3, the upper electrode 4 made of a cloth-like conductor, and the elastic cushioning material 5 Thus, the mat switch 1 having a simple structure in which the laminated structure is covered with the outer cover 6 can be obtained.
In addition, according to the mat switch 1 according to the present embodiment, the insulation between the lower electrode 2 and the upper electrode 4 uses a sponge linear material having a diameter of about 1 mm, and a lattice having a vertical and horizontal interval of about 10 × 10 mm. Therefore, the non-sensing area due to the presence of the lattice insulator 3 is narrower than that of the conventional example.

That is, as shown in FIG. 3, if the outer cover 6 on the upper electrode 4 side in the mat switch 1 according to the present embodiment is pressed by the sensing object 10, the covering of the corresponding region is caused by the load of the sensing object 10. 6, the elastic buffer material 5 and the upper electrode 4 are bent, and a part of the bent upper electrode 4 is in contact with the upper surface of the lower electrode 2.
Thereby, the mat switch 1 is turned on, and the presence of the sensing object 10 can be reliably detected.

In this case, even if the sensing object 10 presses the mat switch 1 at a position directly above the grid-like insulator 3, the grid-like insulator 3 is configured using a sponge wire material having a diameter of about 1 mm. In addition, since the upper electrode 4 is configured using a cloth-like conductor that is easily bent, the non-sensing region includes a small range including the lattice insulator 3 and both sides thereof (for example, the lattice insulator 3 and both sides thereof). 3 to 4 mm).

As a result, even if the diameter φ of the bottom surface of the sensing object 10 is, for example, a wand having a diameter of about 10 mm, the presence of the sensing object 10 can be reliably detected.

In the mat switch 1 according to the present embodiment, if the sensing object 10 is removed from the state shown in FIG. 3, the flexure is eliminated by the elastic restoring force of the elastic cushioning material 5, and the jacket 6 and the upper electrode 4 are in the initial state. Returning to the state, the upper electrode 4 is detached from the lower electrode 2, and the mat switch 1 returns to the off state.
Accordingly, it is possible to realize a reliable operation from the on operation to the off operation, with a simple configuration in which only the elastic restoring force of the elastic buffer material 5 is used and no special design and technical development are required.

Furthermore, according to the mat switch 1 according to the present embodiment, the lower electrode 2 and the upper electrode 4 made of cloth-like conductors, the lattice-like insulator 3 using a sponge linear material, the elastic buffer material 5, and the jacket 6 Since each of these is formed of an elastic material, it is easy to wind, and when the mat switch 1 is not used, the mat switch 1 itself is wound in a cylindrical shape from any side to save space for transportation. It can also be stored.

In addition to the cases described above, the present invention can be widely applied to the case where a customer or a spectator is sensed by being installed on the floor of an entrance / exit of a vehicle carrying a customer such as a bus or the entrance / exit of an art museum or a museum. is there.
