Description

The present invention relates to a PET-CT apparatus in which a gantry of a PET apparatus and an X-ray CT apparatus are arranged and one bed is used in common.

In the PET apparatus, a large number of detectors are arranged in a ring shape around a subject who has been administered a radioactive substance of a positron-emitting nuclide, and the two detectors are detected by simultaneously capturing radiation incident on these two. The tomographic image of the subject can be obtained by counting the positions of the two and calculating the count data. However, when data collected by detecting radiation emitted from radioactive substances in the body outside the body in this way, the radiation may be absorbed in the body before coming out of the body. In order to correct this absorption and obtain an accurate tomographic image, an X-ray CT apparatus is used to obtain X-ray absorption coefficient distribution data for the same tomographic plane as the above-mentioned tomographic image. There is a method for correcting an image. For that purpose, it is necessary to obtain a tomographic image of the same surface by the PET apparatus and the X-ray CT apparatus. For example, as shown in FIG. 4, the bed 1 is commonly used by arranging the PET gantry 3 and the X-ray CT gantry 2 side by side. By placing the subject (not shown) on the bed 1 and moving the top plate of the bed 1 into both gantry, the PET data and the X-ray CT data are obtained for the same tomographic plane of the subject. Collect (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 7-20245

For the reasons described above, the PET-CT apparatus is arranged so that the bed 1 can be used in common by arranging the PET gantry 3 and the X-ray CT gantry 2 as shown in FIG. However, in this case, since the PET gantry 3 and the X-ray CT gantry 2 are installed in close contact with each other, there is no space for a service person or the like to enter the portions of the gantry that face each other for maintenance work. Therefore, during maintenance work, the bolt (not shown) that fixes the X-ray CT gantry 2 to the floor is removed, and the caster 10 attached to the bottom can move the guide rail 4 to the bed 1 side. However, since there is almost no space between the X-ray CT gantry 2 and the bed 1, the bed 1 must first be moved. Therefore, even if a bolt (not shown) that fixes the bed 1 to the floor is removed, it cannot be easily moved because of its large weight. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 3, usually, a method of lifting the bed 1 with a crane 5 or the like and attaching a caster 6 for movement to the bottom is used, but the crane 5 or the like cannot be used when the room where the apparatus is installed is small. Sometimes. If the caster 6 is always attached to the bottom of the bed 1 in order to solve this problem, the bed 1 is not fixed to the floor, which is dangerous for the subject. The present invention aims to solve the above-described problems.

In order to achieve the above object, the invention according to claim 1 is a PET-CT apparatus in which a PET gantry, an X-ray CT gantry and a bed are arranged side by side, and the bed is shared by the two gantry. At the time of use, the caster is raised to a height that does not touch the floor, and the bed is placed on the floor. When moving, the caster is attached to the bed, which has a jack mechanism that raises the bed after lowering the caster to contact the floor. A PET-CT apparatus is provided.

According to a second aspect of the present invention, in order to achieve the above object, the PET gantry, the X-ray CT gantry, and the bed are arranged side by side, and the bed of the PET-CT apparatus in which the two gantry share the bed is moved. A method comprising: attaching a caster having a jack mechanism to the bed; lowering the caster by the jack mechanism to contact the floor; raising the bed; and moving the bed by the caster. A method of moving a bed of a PET-CT apparatus is provided.

According to the present invention, during normal use, the bed can be secured to the floor with a strong structure to ensure the safety of the subject, and a crane or the like is not required to attach a caster to the bed during maintenance. Compared with the case where it is necessary, it becomes easier to cope with urgent maintenance, and the maintenance cost is also reduced. Even if it is installed in a small room, it can be maintained.

Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIGS. As shown in FIG. 1, the gantry 3 for PET and the gantry 2 for X-ray CT are arranged with almost no gap so that one bed 1 can be used in common. Are attached to the four corners of the bottom plate, but during normal use such as inspection, the caster 9 is raised to a height that does not contact the floor as shown in FIG. 1, and the bottom plate of the bed 1 is fixed to the floor with bolts (not shown). ing.

The X-ray CT gantry 2 includes a caster 10 for moving in the direction of the bed 1 on a guide rail 4 laid on the floor, but is usually fixed to the floor with bolts (not shown). Further, the movement of the X-ray CT gantry 2 on the guide rail 4 is also restricted by the bed 1. On the other hand, the PET gantry 3 is fixed to the floor.

The caster 12 with a jack mechanism includes a handle 7, a screw rod 8, a caster 9, and a mounting bracket 11. A handle 7 for turning the screw rod 8 is attached to the upper end of the screw rod 8, and a caster 9 is attached to the lower end via a thrust bearing (not shown). When the handle 7 is rotated in such a configuration, the screw rod 8 moves upward or downward, and the caster 9 can be moved up and down. Therefore, for each caster 12 with jack mechanism attached to the four corners of the bottom plate of the bed 1, After the caster 9 is lowered and brought into contact with the floor, the bottom surface of the bed 1 can be separated from the floor as shown in FIG. 2 by continuing to rotate the handle 7 in the same direction.

When a work space is required between the PET gantry 3 and the X-ray CT gantry 2 during maintenance work, etc., first remove the bolt (not shown) that secures the bed 1 to the floor. 7, the caster 12 with the jack mechanism is operated to move the bottom surface of the bed 1 away from the floor and then moved by the caster 9 to secure a space for moving the X-ray CT gantry 2.

Next, the bolt fixing the X-ray CT gantry 2 to the floor is removed, the guide rail 4 is moved in the direction of the bed 1, and the work is performed between the X-ray CT gantry 2 and the PET gantry 3. Get the space you need.

After the work is completed, the X-ray CT gantry 2 is moved to the original position on the guide rail 4 and fixed to the floor with bolts. Thereafter, the bed 1 is moved to the original position, the handle 7 is turned in the opposite direction to the previous time, the bed 1 is lowered to the floor and fixed with bolts.

In the above embodiment, the caster 12 with the jack mechanism is always attached to the bed 1, and the caster 9 is raised to a height that does not contact the floor during normal use (FIG. 1). The caster 9 is in contact with the floor with the bottom surface away from the floor (FIG. 2). However, the caster 12 with jack mechanism is removed during normal use and stored in another place, and is attached to the bed 1 only when moving. You may make it attach.

In the above embodiment, the jack mechanism is a screw rod type, but it may be a hydraulic type or a pantograph type. Moreover, the drive system of the jack mechanism may be manual or utilizing power.

In the above embodiment, the bed 1, the X-ray CT gantry 2, and the PET gantry 3 are arranged in this order, but the bed 1, the PET gantry 3 and the X-ray CT gantry 2 may be arranged in this order. In this case, the PET gantry 3 is placed on the guide rail 4 laid so as to be movable in the direction of the bed 1.

The present invention relates to a PET-CT apparatus in which a gantry of a PET apparatus and an X-ray CT apparatus are arranged and one bed is used in common.
