Description

The present invention relates to a flat-wire flocking toothbrush that is excellent in interdental penetration, plaque removal function, and appearance discrimination and also has good fuzz.

A flat wire flocking type toothbrush uses a metal piece or plastic piece called a flat wire to fold the hair bundle in half and drive it into a flock hole. For this reason, the flocked hole formed on the head flocked surface has a gap between adjacent flocked holes of 1.0 mm or more, and the hair bundle to be flocked has 16 to 60 brushes per hole (folded back) In general, a thick hair bundle having a total cross-sectional area of the brush per hole in the folded state of 1.0 mm 2 or more is used.

When a thick hair bundle is used as described above, the number of flock holes is reduced and the hair is improved, which has the advantage of improving production efficiency. On the other hand, when a thick hair bundle is used, the brush tip is difficult to reach the tooth neck, interdental part, and the pits and fissures on the occlusal surface, which are the most common sites of oral disease, leaving problems for oral disease prevention. This is not preferable for oral hygiene.

That is, in the case of such a toothbrush, while a strong cleaning effect can be achieved by a thick bunch, the bristles support the brushing pressure with each other because the bristles are thick. The supple movements that it has cannot be exerted, and the hair ends do not easily reach small interstitial parts such as interdental parts and interdental triangles, which are considered to be sites of frequent oral disease. In addition, when the hair bundle is thick, the interdental penetration is poor, the hair and hips tend to be stiff, and the irritation to the oral mucosa is great. Furthermore, since it is necessary to make the hole edge | interval space | interval of adjacent flocking holes into 1.0 mm or more in relation to intensity | strength, since the restrictions on a design increase, it was lacking in novelty and the external appearance discrimination was also low. For this reason, in the past, products have been differentiated by devising the shape and color of the head and handle.

As this type of toothbrush, for example, in Patent Document 1, the width of the flocking table is set to be within 8 mm, four or more rows of hair bundles are arranged in parallel to the longitudinal direction of the handle, and the hair bundle located on the outer side is placed on the inner side. A toothbrush that is softer than the bristles located is shown. However, this toothbrush is made by softening the outer brush mainly from the viewpoint of safety for the mucous membrane in the oral cavity when brushing the teeth by the bath method, and the technical idea is different from the present invention. No investigation has been made on the relationship between the hole edge spacing of the flocked holes, which is a feature, and the cross-sectional area of the brush to be flocked.

Further, Patent Document 2 discloses a toothbrush in which a filament having a rectangular cross-section is planted in an oval flocking hole, but the hole spacing between the flocking holes and the breaking of the brush to be flocked, which are the features of the present invention. No consideration has been given to the relationship with area.

A toothbrush having a thin wall by narrowing the hole edge interval between the flock holes is also shown in, for example, Patent Document 3, but in the case of this invention, the interval between the flock holes into which a flat line is driven is ensured in a certain direction. Furthermore, no investigation has been made on the relationship between the hole edge spacing of the flocked holes and the cross-sectional area of the brush to be flocked, which is a feature of the present invention.

Patent Document 4 further discloses a toothbrush in which hair bundles having different hardness directions are mixedly arranged by selecting and combining the orientations of the long holes as flocking holes so that the orientation of the major axis is different. 5 and 6 show toothbrushes in which a large number of bristles protrude from the brush base, and each of the bristles includes a plurality of bristles having an elliptical cross section, both of which are features of the present invention. No investigation has been made on the relationship between the hole edge spacing of the flock holes and the total cross-sectional area of the brush.

As described above, in the conventional flat-lined flocking toothbrush, a large flocking hole is adopted for ease of flocking, and the interval between adjacent flocking holes is set wider. For this reason, while the hair | bristle bundle to be used becomes thick, the space | interval of the hair | bristle planted hair tends to become wide.

As a necessary condition of the toothbrush, not only is it effective in removing plaque, but also a high level of safety for the oral mucosa is required. Although it has an excellent stain removal function, it has strong irritation to soft tissues such as gingiva, and must be used with great care, especially for patients with periodontitis and periodontal disease. For this reason, it is common for patients with periodontitis and periodontal disease to use a toothbrush with a soft brush on their backs. There was a problem that I could not.

The present invention has been made to solve the above-mentioned problem, and sets the hole edge interval between the closest flocked holes and the sum of the cross-sectional areas of the brushes to be flocked to the flocked holes to the optimum values. Thus, an object of the present invention is to provide a toothbrush that is excellent in plaque removal function at a site where oral disease is frequently caused, soft in the oral soft tissue, and excellent in appearance discrimination and usability.

In order to achieve the above object, the present invention employs the following configuration.
(1) The present invention relates to a toothbrush having a handle and a head portion, in which a hair bundle obtained by bundling a plurality of brushes is planted in a folded manner using a flat line on the planting hole on the head planting surface. the sum of the brush cross sectional area per hole and 1.0mm 2 or less, the hole edge spacing between any bristle holes each other that is closest in planting pores and 1.0mm or less, the brush diameter in the range of 3-10 mils In addition, at least a part of the flocked hole located on the outermost side of the head flocked surface is formed into a hole shape in which the dimensional ratio in the major axis direction with respect to the minor axis direction is larger than 1.0, and the dimensional ratio is larger than 1.0. In all of the flocked holes formed in the hole shape, a flat line is driven in the long axis direction thereof, and the brushes that are driven in two by each flat line are arranged in the long axis direction of the flocked hole along both sides of the flat line. It is arranged.
(2) In the present invention, in the flocked hole formed by driving a flat line in the long axis direction, the brush that has been driven in half by each flat line is moved along the both sides of the flat line in the long axis direction of the flocked hole. They may be arranged in a line.
(3) In the present invention, the brush diameter may be in the range of 5 to 8 mils.
(4) In the present invention, the sum of the brush cross sectional area may be in the range of 0.10~0.70mm 2.
(5) In this invention, it is good also considering the space | interval of the said closest graft hole as a range of 0.25-0.70 mm.
(6) The present invention provides a toothbrush having a handle and a head portion, and a bunch of hair bundled by bundling a plurality of brushes in a double-folded manner using a flat line in the flocking hole of the head portion flocking surface.
A part of the flocked hole located on the outermost side on both sides in the width direction of the head portion flocked surface is formed into a hole shape having a dimensional ratio in the major axis direction with respect to the minor axis direction larger than 1.0, and the dimensional ratio from 1.0 In each of the flocked holes having a large hole shape, a flat line is driven in the long axis direction of each flocked hole, and the brush that has been driven in half by each flat line is moved in the long axis direction of the flocked hole along both sides of the flat line. The total cross-sectional area of the brushes per hole of the flocked holes that are arranged side by side and driven in the long axis direction is 1.0 mm 2 or less, and the holes between any flocked holes that are closest to each other in the flocked holes The edge interval is 1.0 mm or less, and the brush diameter is in the range of 5 to 8 mils.
(7) In the present invention, in the flocked hole formed by driving a flat line in the long axis direction, the brush that has been driven in half by each flat line is moved along the both sides of the flat line in the long axis direction of the flocked hole. They may be arranged in a line.
(8) The present invention, the sum of the brush cross sectional area in the range of 0.10~0.70Mm 2, the distance of the nearest flocked holes may be in the range of 0.25~0.70Mm.

In a conventional flat-line flocking toothbrush, 16 to 60 brushes per hole and about 32 to 120 bristles are implanted in a circular flocking hole having a diameter of 1.5 to 2.2 mm. However, with such a thick hair bundle, the brushes supported the brushing pressure, and it was difficult for the hair tips to enter oral disease-prone parts such as interdental parts, cervical parts, and pits and fissures.
Therefore, in the present invention, the sum of the brush cross sectional area per hole in a state of being folded with bristles that are planted in planting pores is 1.0 mm 2 or less, and more preferably a range of 0.10~0.70Mm 2 It is a thing. Taking the case where the cross-sectional shape of the brush is circular as an example, the sum of the cross-sectional areas of the brush in the folded state is 1.0 mm 2 or less. In the case of 7 mil (diameter 0.178 mm) bristles, about 5 per hole. It corresponds to ˜14 and folded back to 10-28.

The number of brushes can be set as appropriate according to the design of the toothbrush, the brush diameter, the cross-sectional shape, and the like. When the sum of the cross-sectional area of the brush to be planted in a single bristle holes exceeds 1.0 mm 2, the strength of the tufts becomes large, flexibility is extremely decreased tufts become high tuft rigidity However, it is not preferable.
Further, the hole edge distance between any planting holes sum of the cross-sectional areas of brush is closest and flocking holes planted hair bundle of 1.0mm 2 or less preferably 1.0mm or less, more preferably 0.25 to 0 The range is 70 mm. When the hole edge interval is too narrow, the interval between the hair bundles also becomes narrow, the brush does not enter between the teeth, and the interdental penetration property decreases. On the other hand, when the hole edge interval is widened, appearance discrimination and usability are lowered. When the spacing between the flock holes exceeds 1.0 mm, the repulsive action of the hair bundle accompanying the brushing movement becomes stronger, and the jerky feel of the hair bundle is added, not only the feeling of use is lowered, but also the continuous movement of the hair bundle is demonstrated. The plaque removal effect is also reduced.

In the toothbrush of the present invention, thin hair bundles are arranged at an optimal interval, so that each of the brushes can easily reach the teeth and gums, and the reachability of the hair tip to the site where oral disease is likely to occur is improved. . In addition, by flocking a hair bundle consisting of a small number of brushes, it is possible to develop a continuous movement of a thin hair bundle, which was impossible in the past, and an excessive load on the oral mucosa such as the cervical part and interdental papilla It is possible to develop plaque removal and gingival massaging functions without applying any treatment.
The flocking hole satisfying the above conditions may be formed at any position on the head flocking surface, but in order to further improve interdental penetration, it is arranged on the outermost side on both sides of the head flocking surface. Is preferred. In this case, it is more preferable to arrange a thick hair bundle in the vicinity of the center of the head portion flocking surface from the viewpoints of the sense of brushing, design, and productivity.

The hole cross-sectional shape of the flocked hole may be a commonly used circular or square shape, but the minor axis direction (short diameter or It is preferable to have an irregular hole shape having a short side direction) and a long axis direction (long diameter or long side direction). In addition, by setting the arrangement by combining various orientations of the holes, it is possible to design a specification corresponding to the desired hair hitting feeling and the feeling of brushing. In addition, when arranged so that the short axis is along the side edge located outside the head surface of the hair transplantation surface, it looks fine compared to a circular hair bundle in which the same number of brushes are implanted, and the appearance discrimination can be improved. it can. Furthermore, the arrangement of the flock holes may be staggered in order to avoid interference between the flat lines of the adjacent flock holes and at the same time achieve a denser hair.

If a flat line is driven along the long axis direction of the flocked hole, the brushes line up along the flat line, so that the flocking strength is improved. In addition, since the outermost hair bundle of the head portion appears thin depending on the direction in which the flat line is driven, the appearance discrimination can be improved. The flock hole shape at this time is preferably substantially rectangular in order to narrow the interval between the hair bundle and the flock hole. In addition, when driving a flat wire along the short axis direction, the space between the flocked hole and the hair bundle should be reduced by matching the diameter of the circumscribed circle with respect to the hair bundle cross section and the short axis direction of the flocked hole. This makes it possible to create a flocked portion with excellent fuzzing. At this time, when the brush cross section to be used is circular, it is more preferable that the flocked hole shape is a substantially elliptical shape, a substantially oval shape, or a substantially rectangular shape.

The toothbrush head part is not limited in any shape, size or design. The flat wire used in the toothbrush can be made of metal such as brass or stainless steel, hard plastic or biodegradable plastic. Further, by adjusting the thickness of the flat wire, the flock hole and the hair bundle can be securely fixed and the gap can be reduced. The flat line width to be used is not particularly limited and can be arbitrarily set.

As toothbrush handle materials, polystyrene resin (PS), polypropylene resin (PP), polyethylene terephthalate resin (PET), saturated polyester resin (PCTA, PCTG), acrylonitrile butadiene styrene resin (ABS), cellulose propionate resin (CP) ), Polyarylate resin, polycarbonate resin (PC), acrylonitrile styrene resin (AS), polyacetal resin (POM), polybutylene terephthalate resin (PBT) and the like can be used alone or in combination. A multicolor molded handle combined with a thermoplastic elastomer is also preferable. The handle material is not limited to the above.

Examples of the brush (filament) material include polyesters such as polyethylene terephthalate, polybutylene terephthalate, polytrimethylene terephthalate, polyamides such as nylon 6, nylon 66, nylon 6-10, nylon 6-12, and nylon 12, polyethylene, polypropylene, and the like. Materials that can be melt-spun, such as polyolefins and polyvinyl halides such as polyvinylidene fluoride, are used, but nylon and polytrimethylene terephthalate are preferred in terms of feeling in use and durability. Further, these brushes can be formed into a double core sheath shape to make brushes with different materials on the outside and inside, or brushes with different surface conditions, and can be used properly according to the purpose.

The thickness of the brush is 3 to 10 mils (0.076 to 0.254 mm), preferably 5 to 8 mils (0.127 to 0.203 mm). Usability, cleaning feeling, cleaning effect In consideration of durability, it is also preferable to use these in combination. In particular, in the toothbrush specification in which a large number of flock holes are arranged, if the hardness of the brush is increased or the thickness, material, length, color, cross-sectional shape is changed from the outer hair bundle toward the center, It is more preferable in terms of usability and appearance differentiation.

Use various types of brushes such as normal round hair, taper hair, diamond hair, feather hair, irregular cross-section hair, grainy hair, spiral catch hair, indicator hair, etc. Can do. In addition, the kind of brush is not limited to these.

Furthermore, with respect to the brush, by appropriately setting the free end hair cutting (or profile) shape and the brush length, the front end surface of the hair bundle can be made into a single flat shape, a chopped shape, or an uneven shape. Can do. Furthermore, it is good also as a different hair | bristle bundle structure by the outer side and inner side of a flocked surface, a front-end | tip part, and a rear-end part.

As described above, according to the present invention, at least part of the flocked holes have a hole edge interval of 1.0 mm or less between any flocked hole that is closest to the flocked hole, and the brush flocked in the flocked hole The sum of the cross-sectional area of the brushes per hole in the folded state is 1.0 mm2 or less, so it has excellent plaque removal function at sites where oral diseases are common, and is highly safe against oral soft tissue, and also has a distinctive appearance. A toothbrush excellent in usability can be obtained.
In addition, according to the present invention, the flock holes satisfying the above conditions are arranged at least at the outermost part of the head flocking surface, so that the brush can easily come into contact with the tooth surface during brushing, and the interdental penetration is further improved. Can be made.

In addition, according to the present invention, as a flocked hole having a hole edge interval of 1.0 mm or less, a flocked hole having a hole-shaped dimension larger than 1.0 in the major axis direction with respect to the minor axis direction is used. By devising the direction, it is possible to change the appearance of the hair bundle from the side surface, and to improve the appearance discrimination of the flocked portion. Furthermore, if you devise the driving direction of the flat line, such as driving a flat line along the short axis direction of the flocked hole, the gap between the flocked hair bundle and the flocked hole can be made as small as possible, It is possible to create a flocked portion with excellent fuzzing.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. However, the present invention is not limited to the embodiments described below.
FIG. 1 shows an embodiment of a toothbrush according to the present invention. Fig.1 (a) is a schematic perspective view of the hair | bristle bundle planted in two in the flock hole using the flat line, (b) is the sectional drawing, (c) is a schematic plan view of two flock holes adjacent to each other It is.
In the figure, reference numeral 1 denotes a hair bundle formed by bundling a plurality of brushes 2, and the hair bundle 1 is folded in half using a flat wire 3 and driven into a flock hole 4 on a head flocking surface 5. It is fixed by. In the present invention, when flocking the hair bundle 1, the hole edge interval L between the closest flocking holes 4, 4 is set to 1.0 mm or less, and the brush 2 to be flocked to the flocking holes 4, 4 is used.
