Description

The present invention relates to a ceramic end tab used when welding base materials having different widths mainly in the field of steel structures. More specifically, the present invention relates to a new ceramic end tab for solving a conventional ceramic end tab for different width base materials. The present invention relates to a ceramic end tab for welding a base material having a different width.

Conventionally, when welding base materials having different widths, an end tab having a shape as shown in FIG. 4 is used (hereinafter, in this specification, it is assumed that the end tab is used in a lateral orientation). To do). In other words, this end tab 100 is not used for welding that protrudes continuously through a bottom surface 102 that comes into contact with the column base material and a step 104 provided at an angle corresponding to the groove angle α ° of the beam processed base material. The welding use surface 108 is recessed relative to the surface 106.
FIG. 7 shows the state of attachment of this conventional end tab, and FIG. 8 shows the direction of stress transmission. When such an end tab is used, in the extra length bead C of the welding start / end portion shown in FIG. Concentration of stress occurs when corners perpendicular to both the pillar base bottom end B and the beam base groove side toe stop A are formed and defects such as undercuts occur in those parts. May occur. 5, 7, and 8, reference numeral 1 is a column base material, reference numeral 2 is a beam base material, reference numeral 3 is a molten metal, reference numeral 31 is a groove processing portion, and reference numeral 4 is a backing metal. Respectively. same as below.

In order to solve this problem, Japanese Patent No. 3095883 discloses an end tab 150 as shown in the attachment diagram of FIG. 9 in which the molten metal receiving groove, which is a welding use surface, is formed in a fan-shaped and arc-shaped inclined surface inclined inside the end tab. Has been proposed.
However, in such an end tab, as shown in FIG. 10, a fan-shaped extra-length bead (reference C) is formed outwardly at the start / end portion, and as a result, the beam base material side toe A and the column base are formed. Since each contact angle formed by the weld bead and the base material at the material tip B tends to be an acute angle, there is a problem that stress concentration increases at these portions.

Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2001-30094 proposes an end tab as shown in FIG. 13 in which the entire use surface for forming the molten metal receiving groove of the end tab is flattened and inclined.
However, the start / end bead using such an end tab shape has an excess length (C in FIG. 5) of the weld start / end end bead near the first layer portion (bottom root portion) as shown in the perspective view of FIG. It is long and formed short in the surface layer portion (plate thickness surface portion). For this reason, as shown in FIG. 12, the stress concentration in the beam base material side toe portion A increases in the first layer portion.
Japanese Patent No.3069583 JP 2001-30094

Therefore, the present invention can solve the above-described problems of the conventional ceramic end tab for welding a different width base metal, and can be applied to a semi-automatic gas shielded arc welding and welding robot regardless of the welding position. It is an object to provide a ceramic end tab for welding a width base material.

The above-described problems are solved by any one of the ceramic end tabs having the following configurations (1) and (2) of the present invention.
(1) With respect to the bottom surface 12 that contacts the column base material, the welding non-use surface 14 that is provided on the side surface perpendicular to the bottom surface and that contacts the end surface of the beam base material 2 that has been grooved, and the welding non-use surface The welding use surface 16 which is relatively depressed, and the welding use surface and the welding non-use surface are continuously different widths through a step surface 18 provided at an angle corresponding to a groove angle α ° of the beam base material. In the ceramic end tab for base metal welding, the welding use surface has a predetermined angle from a surface parallel to the welding non-use surface with the intersection line (β axis) of the welding use surface and the step surface as a central axis. A ceramic end tab for welding a base material having a different width, wherein the ceramic end tab is provided at a position rotated inward (β °).
(2) The ceramic end tab for different width base metal welding according to the above (1), wherein the width of the stepped surface 18 is substantially the same from the lower part (initial layer part) to the upper part (surface layer part).

Hereinafter, a ceramic end tab for welding a different width base metal according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings.
FIG. 1 shows a ceramic end tab 10 for welding a different width base metal according to an embodiment of the present invention (hereinafter simply referred to as a ceramic end tab) provided on a bottom surface 12 in contact with a column base material and on a side surface perpendicular to the bottom surface 12. A welding unused surface 14 that comes into contact with the end face of the beam base material subjected to the groove processing, and a welding used surface 16 that is recessed relative to the welding unused surface 14, the welding used surface 16 and the welding unused surface. 14 continues through a stepped surface 18 provided at an angle corresponding to the groove angle α ° of the beam base material. In the ceramic end tab 10 shown in FIG. 1 of the present invention, the welding use surface 16 has the β-axis that is the intersection line of the welding use surface 16 and the stepped surface 18 as a central axis, and the welding non-use surface 14. Is provided at a position rotated from the plane parallel to the inner surface of the end tab at a predetermined angle.
It is preferable that the width of the stepped surface 18 is substantially the same from the lower part (initial layer part) to the upper part (surface layer part).

In FIG. 1, the symbol h is the height of the ceramic end tab 10. The symbol G is the width of the root gap of the ceramic end tab 10, and 7 mm is a reference. The symbol α is a groove angle, and includes 25 °, 30 °, 35 °, and 45 °. The symbol β ° is the rotation angle of the welding use surface 16, and when α ° is 35 ° and G is 7 mm, a range of 15 ° to 22 ° is preferable.
The symbol γ ° represents a spread angle of the welding use surface 16 to the bottom surface 12 with respect to a plane parallel to the non-welding surface 14, and is determined by the above α ° and β °. If it is, it will be the range of 12.4 degrees-18.3 degrees.
The symbol D is the depth of the step in the step surface 18 and is preferably 2 to 4 mm in relation to the length of the extra bead on the beam base material side (portion connecting items 6 to 5 in FIG. 6). If it exceeds, defects such as undercuts are likely to occur in the beam base material side. Reference sign D ° is an angle of the stepped surface 18 with respect to the non-welded surface 14, and in order to prevent the occurrence of defects such as undercut, a gentle angle (120) is formed so that a corner portion is not formed in the above-described portion (A). ~ 135 °) is preferable.
When the rotation angle β ° is less than the above value, the spread angle γ ° to the column base material (bottom surface) becomes small, and the stress concentration at the column base material tip (B) increases.

On the other hand, if the above value is exceeded, the spread angle γ ° will increase, but the angle between the surface of the column base material 1 and the welding end surface 16 of the ceramic end tab will become narrow, making welding difficult and the column base material. It becomes difficult to give sufficient melt | dissolution with respect to (the part of items 3-5 shown in FIG. 6 of a bottom face).
Moreover, in this ceramic end tab 10, shapes, such as a welding use surface, are formed in the opposite side surface in rotational symmetry.
In the ceramic end tab 10 described above, if the height (symbol h) of the tab material is equal to or larger than a size obtained by adding a predetermined surplus portion to the plate thickness of the beam base material, the spread angle γ to the bottom surface is whatever the base material thickness. 6 is obtained, and the size of the portion of item 6 shown in FIG. Therefore, in the past, it was necessary to prepare an end tab with a height (h) corresponding to the plate thickness of the beam base material to be welded. When using this end tab, prepare an end tab for each plate thickness. It is not necessary to reduce the number of end tabs, and cost effectiveness and construction management can be simplified.

(1) Shape of sample (end tab) Eight types of ceramic end tab samples listed in Table 1 were prepared in preparation for a welding experiment, and designated as Examples 1 to 6. As a comparative example, the conventional shape shown in FIG. 4 is referred to as comparative example 1, and as shown in FIG. 13, the end tab inner surface 12 is arranged so that the end bead spreads relatively from the groove top to the bottom. The shape cut at 4 ° was designated as Comparative Example 2.

Figure 2006289429
(2) Shape of test body In this experiment, a test piece as shown in FIG. 14 was manufactured assuming a four-side skin plate box column as a column base material.
The SN490B steel material of 25t x 150w x 300L corresponding to the column base material is laid flat to make the lower plate 1, and one side of the 250L side of 22t x 150w x 250L as the beam base material has a groove angle of 35 The same steel type plate 2 machined at 0 ° was installed vertically on the upper surface of the lower plate 1 for a lateral orientation of the T joint. Therefore, the weld length is 250 mm. A backing metal 4 using a 9 t × 25 w × 300 L plate was attached to a portion of the above-mentioned test specimen having a root gap of 7 mm.
(3) Welding experiment method (1) Welding method: This experiment adopted a gas shielded arc welding method.
(2) Welding conditions: Current (A) 220-330
・ Voltage (V) 26-35
・ Speed (cm / min) 15-90
(4) Sample (end tab) attachment state (1) The state of attachment of the end tab (FIG. 1) to the test body in Examples 1 to 6 is as shown in FIG.
FIG. 7 shows the comparative example 1 shown in FIG. 4, and FIG. 11 shows the comparative example 2 shown in FIG.
(2) Mounting condition In Examples 1 to 6 shown in FIG. 2 and Comparative Example 1 shown in FIG. 7, the depth D of the step is from the first layer part (bottom root part) to the surface layer part (plate thickness surface) of the beam base material 2 Part).
However, when the h32 mm end tab of Comparative Example 2 is attached to the beam base material 2 having a plate thickness of 22 mm, as shown in Table 1, the step d2 at the end tab surface layer is 3 mm. In step 14-2), the step height increases to 4.5 mm in the bead surface layer portion (d3 in FIG. 11) corresponding to a plate thickness of 22 mm. The amount of increase in the level difference increases as the beam base material plate thickness decreases, increasing the stress concentration tendency.
