2−1.母材
母材の材料は、特に限定されないが、第1群の発明と第2群の発明とで次のように異なる。
第1群の発明における母材を形成する透明な金属化合物としては、その屈折率が被覆材より小さい場合、それを満たしやすいものとして酸化ケイ素(SiO2)、酸化アルミニウム(Al2O3)等の金属酸化物を例示でき、その屈折率が被覆材より大きい場合、それを満たしやすいものとして酸化チタン(TiO2)、酸化鉄(Fe2O3)、酸化セリウム(CeO)、酸化ジルコニウム(ZrO)等の金属酸化物や、硫化亜鉛(ZnS)等を例示できる。
第2群の発明における母材を形成する透明な金属化合物は、屈折率が塗膜主材の屈折率より0.9以上大きい必要があり、それを満たせば特に限定されないのであるが、それを満たしやすいものとしてTiO2、Fe2O3、CeO、ZrO等の金属酸化物や、ZnS等を例示的できる。これらの各材料の屈折率を次の表1に示す。

The transparent metal compound forming the base material in the second group of the invention needs to have a refractive index of 0.9 or more larger than the refractive index of the coating film main material, and if it is satisfied, it is not particularly limited. Examples of the metal oxide that can be easily filled include metal oxides such as TiO 2 , Fe 2 O 3 , CeO, and ZrO, and ZnS. The refractive index of each of these materials is shown in Table 1 below.
