Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a pretensioner seat belt device, and more particularly, to a motor control method for winding a seat belt.
A seat belt device has long been known as a safety device for protecting a vehicle occupant in the event of a collision with an obstacle. With this classic seat belt device, the occupant was only restrained to prevent the occupant from being thrown forward when the car actually collided with an obstacle ahead.
Thereafter, a so-called pretensioner seat belt device was developed, in which when the vehicle is predicted to collide with an obstacle, the motor is driven to wind up the seat belt prior to the actual collision, By eliminating slack and looseness of the seat belt, the occupant is restrained in advance, and the forward movement of the occupant is efficiently suppressed. This pretensioner seat belt device incorporates an explosive explosion-type seat belt retracting mechanism that instantaneously and irreversibly retracts the seat belt when the vehicle actually collides with an obstacle. Also known.
An example of such a pretensioner seat belt device is disclosed in
By the way, it is not usual for a driver to drive a motor of a pretensioner seat belt device, and in particular, when the frequency of use of a car is low as in a so-called Sunday driver, the motor It is very rare to be driven. As a result, the motor may not be driven for a long time.
However, if this type of motor is not operated for a long period of time, an oxide film will be formed between the commutator and the rotor, and these will adhere and cause poor continuity. When a collision with an obstacle is predicted, the seat belt may not be wound.
Accordingly, the present invention has been invented to solve the above-described problems, and an object thereof is to provide a pretensioner seat belt device capable of suppressing a failure of a motor due to nonuse.
In order to achieve the above object, a pretensioner seat belt device of the present invention includes a seat belt unit including a seat belt for restraining an occupant seated on a vehicle seat, and the occupant is restrained with a predetermined tension. A seat belt winding mechanism having a motor for winding a seat belt by a predetermined amount, a collision prediction means for predicting a collision of a vehicle against an obstacle, and whether there is a possibility of a collision based on a signal from the collision prediction means Control means for controlling the drive of the motor when it is judged that there is a possibility of a collision, and when the specific start operation related to the start of the vehicle is performed, the control means Is controlled for a predetermined time.
In the present invention, it is preferable that the specific start operation is an ON operation of an ignition switch that starts the vehicle propulsion mechanism.
Furthermore, in the present invention, it is preferable that an on / off switch for operating and stopping the control unit is provided, and the specific start operation is an on operation of the on / off switch.
Furthermore, in the present invention, it is preferable that the sticking prevention drive control is performed only when a predetermined time has elapsed since the previous drive of the motor.
In the present invention, it is preferable that the sticking prevention drive control is performed only when the specific start operation is performed a predetermined number of times.
Further, in the present invention, it is preferable that the control means drives the motor in the reverse direction so as to feed out the seat belt.
In the pretensioner seat belt device of the present invention having the above-described configuration, when a specific start operation related to the start of the vehicle is performed, the motor that winds up the seat belt by a predetermined amount is driven, so that the collision prediction by the collision prediction means is long. Even when it is not emitted over a period of time, it is possible to prevent the motor from sticking.
Further, when the specific starting operation is an on operation of the ignition switch, the motor is driven every time the vehicle is used, and the motor can be reliably prevented from sticking.
Further, when the specific start operation is an on operation of an on / off switch of the control means, it is possible to avoid waste of driving the motor when the control means is in an inoperative state by the on / off switch.
Furthermore, when the anti-adhesion drive control is performed only when a predetermined time has elapsed since the previous motor drive, it is possible to avoid waste of the motor drive in a state where there is no possibility of the motor adhering. it can.
Further, when the anti-sticking drive control is performed only when the specific starting operation is performed a predetermined number of times, it is possible to avoid waste of motor driving in a state where there is no fear of the motor sticking.
Further, when the motor is driven by the sticking prevention drive control so as to extend the seat belt, it is not necessary to give the passenger a feeling of extra pressure.
Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the accompanying drawings. In this embodiment, the pretensioner seat belt device according to the present invention is applied to an automobile seat belt.
Referring to FIG. 1, a pretensioner seat belt device is generally designated by the
The pretensioner
A
The
The
The
FIG. 2 is a time chart showing the relationship between the collision prediction signal and the drive control of a motor (not shown). Here, for the sake of simplification of explanation, as in the case where a collision prediction signal is issued by the DSC
When the collision prediction signal is generated, current is supplied (energized) to the motor (not shown) for a time T1 so as to drive the motor (not shown) in the normal direction. As a result, the
Thereafter, the current supply to the motor (not shown) is stopped until no collision prediction signal is generated.
When the collision prediction means stops generating a collision prediction signal (the
Thereafter, energization of the motor (not shown) is stopped for a time T3. In this embodiment, the energization stop time T3 is about 100 milliseconds.
After the energization is stopped, current is supplied to the motor (not shown) for a time T4 so as to drive the motor (not shown) in the reverse direction. As a result, the
In this embodiment, when the collision prediction means stops generating the collision prediction signal, the motor (not shown) is immediately driven in reverse to not loosen the
As a modified embodiment, when the collision prediction means stops generating the collision prediction signal, the motor (not shown) may not be energized until the next time the collision prediction signal is generated.
The
The drive control of the motor (not shown) when the
That is, the
FIG. 3 is a flowchart showing the content of drive control for preventing sticking of a motor (not shown) by the
In this flowchart, first, it is determined whether or not a specific start operation related to the start of the vehicle 2, in this case, the ignition switch is turned on (S1). If it is not determined to be turned on, it is determined again whether or not the ignition switch is turned on.
If it is determined to be on, a current for driving the motor (not shown) of the
Next, it is determined whether or not a predetermined time has elapsed since the start of current supply (S3). Since the current is supplied to prevent the motor (not shown) from sticking, a very short time is sufficient. In this embodiment, the current is 100 milliseconds. If the predetermined time has not been determined, it is determined again.
On the other hand, if it is determined that a predetermined time has elapsed since the start of the current supply, the supply of current to the motor (not shown) of the
In the embodiment described above, the specific start operation (S1) related to the start of the vehicle 2 is the ignition switch ON operation, but may be a separate operation.
For example, in consideration of the presence of a pregnant woman, the pretensioner seat belt device may be provided with an on / off switch for selectively operating and stopping the pretensioner seat belt device. The operation (S1) may be an on operation of the on / off switch. Further, the movement of the shift lever (for example, movement from the P range to the R range) in the automatic transmission vehicle may be a specific start operation (S1) related to the start of the vehicle 2.
FIG. 4 shows a flowchart of the sticking prevention drive control of the modification.
This sticking prevention drive control is only different from the flowchart of FIG. 3 in that step (S1 ′) is incorporated between step (S1) and step (S2) in the flowchart of FIG. The description about is omitted.
In the sticking prevention drive control shown in FIG. 4, if it is determined that the ignition switch is on, it is determined whether or not a predetermined time has elapsed since the previous motor drive (S1 ′). If it is determined that the predetermined time has elapsed, a current for reversely driving the motor (not shown) of the
The predetermined time from the previous motor drive can be arbitrarily set, and may be, for example, 3 months or 1 year. Thus, for example, when the vehicle 2 is used every day, waste (such as motor consumption and current consumption) that prevents the
In this modified embodiment, the pretensioner
In addition, when the
The predetermined number of times the ignition switch is turned on (that is, the specific start operation related to the start of the vehicle 2) can be arbitrarily set, and may be 5 times or 30 times, for example. This step (control) can also eliminate useless drive for preventing the sticking of the motor.
In this modified embodiment, the pretensioner
The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and various modifications as described below are possible.
For example, instead of the step (S1 ′) in the sticking prevention drive control by the
In the above-described embodiment, the pretensioner seat belt device according to the present invention has been described for an automobile.
