Abstract
Description
The present invention provides a wireless IC in which position information is written in each of underground, building, and urban areas where position information cannot be acquired by GPS, compared to GPS that is generally used for acquiring position information. The present invention relates to a system capable of acquiring position information anywhere by installing a tag and acquiring the information using a wireless IC tag reader on the mobile body side.
When acquiring location information, systems using GPS satellites such as car navigation systems are widely used. However, the radio wave information of GPS satellites can be blocked by high-rise buildings and the like in underground and buildings, and in urban areas. Can't get position. There is also a method of using mobile phones and wireless LAN base stations to acquire the position based on the intensity of radio waves transmitted from them, but the location accuracy of mobile phone base stations is distributed over a wide area. Is not expensive. Wireless LAN base stations can be installed at high density, but are expensive, so there is a large cost problem in infrastructure development.
The current position information acquisition system has the following drawbacks.
(B) In systems using radio waves from GPS satellites, radio waves can be blocked by high-rise buildings or the like in the basement, buildings, and even in urban areas, so position information cannot be obtained at these locations. Further, the position accuracy in the height direction has an error of several tens of meters in general GPS, and the position accuracy is poor.
(B) In the system using the radio wave of the base station of the mobile phone, the position accuracy is poor because the base stations are distributed over a wide area.
(C) A system using radio waves of a base station of a wireless LAN can install base stations with high density, but the base station is expensive, so there is a great cost problem in infrastructure development.
The present invention for solving the problems (a) and (b) and (c) in the preceding paragraph is as follows.
In the position information acquisition system, (b) means for realizing position information acquisition by installing the wireless IC tag in the basement, building, or in an important area such as the city area; A means to obtain location information with higher accuracy than the location accuracy calculated from mobile phone base station radio waves by installing at high density, and (c) infrastructure maintenance by using inexpensive wireless IC tags A position information acquisition system using a wireless IC tag.

In a position information acquisition system using a wireless IC tag for solving such a problem, first,
(A) A “wireless IC tag installation method” is provided as a means for acquiring position information in the basement, building, or even in an urban area. In the “wireless IC tag installation method”, wireless IC tags with location information recorded are installed in the basement and buildings where GPS signals do not reach, and in other important places such as urban areas, and wireless IC tag readers are installed on the mobile side. By using it and reading the position information of nearby wireless IC tags, it is possible to acquire the position information in the basement, building, city area, etc., where the position could not be acquired conventionally.
(B) A “wireless IC tag high-density installation method” is provided as means for realizing position information acquisition with higher accuracy than the position accuracy calculated from mobile phone base station radio waves. In the "High-frequency IC tag high-density installation method", by installing the wireless IC tag to be installed in units of several meters, the position accuracy is higher than the position accuracy calculated from the mobile phone base station radio wave with an error of several tens of meters Enables information acquisition. In addition, it is possible to ensure a positional accuracy of several meters in the height direction.
(C) As a means to realize infrastructure maintenance at a low cost, the “low-cost wireless IC tag installation method” is provided. In the “low-cost wireless IC tag installation method”, a wireless IC of several hundred yen that is far cheaper than the tens of thousands of wireless LAN base stations required for the “wireless LAN base station method” that enables highly accurate position acquisition. By using tags, it is possible to develop a location information acquisition infrastructure at low cost.

By introducing the position information acquisition system using the wireless IC tag according to the present invention, the position information can be obtained in the underground or building where the acquisition of the position information has been difficult in terms of technology and cost, and further in the city. It is possible to construct various systems used at low cost.
This facilitates the development of infrastructure that can easily use the acquisition of position information, and can greatly contribute to the spread and promotion of various navigation systems, map systems such as facility management, and mobile object management.
