図２において、本発明は時計の外ケース１内側の段差構造となった時計盤受け部１６に時計盤２が設けられている。この時計盤２は表面に針の指す位置によって時刻を把握するための任意の表示が施されたものである。また、中心部付近には、針を取り付ける軸を通過させるための孔１５が設けられている。
本発明では、同軸上に径の異なる管状の軸が設けられており、それぞれの軸はケース内部にある制御機構により時間、分、秒にあわせてそれぞれ対応した回転をするものである。図２における事例においては、内側から時刻針軸７、分針軸８、秒針軸９となっている。分針軸８は秒針軸９よりも上方に突出した高さとなっており、時刻針軸７は分針軸８よりも上方に突出した高さとなったものである。
各軸には対応した針がキャップを介して軸に取り付けられている。
時刻針４は軸取付側端部下に時刻針キャップ１０が取り付けられたものであり、他端上面に宝石などを固定する台座１３ａが設けられている。
時刻針キャップ１０は円筒状の本体の中央下部に前記時刻針軸７に嵌合する突起部が設けられたものであり、軸の回転にそって安定して動くようになっている。
台座１３ａは複数の固定脚を上方に有するものであり、これにより宝石が固定されるようになっている。図においては、ダイヤモンド石１４が取り付けられている。
分針５は前記時刻針４よりも長いもので、軸取付側端部下に分針キャップ１１が取り付けられたものであり、他端上面に宝石などを固定する台座１３ｂが設けられている。
台座１３ｂに関しては前記と同様の構造となっている。
分針キャップ１１は中央に前記時刻針軸７が通過する開口部を有するとともに分針軸８上部に取り付けるものであり、軸の回転にそって安定して動くようになっている。
秒針６は前記分針５よりも長いもので、軸取付側端部下に秒針キャップ１２が取り付けられたものであり、他端上面に宝石などを固定する台座１３ｃが設けられている。
台座１３ｃに関しては前記と同様の構造となっている。
秒針キャップ１２は中央に前記分針軸８が通過する開口部を有するとともに分針軸８上部に取り付けるものであり、軸の回転にそって安定して動くようになっている。
時刻針４、分針５、秒針６は図に示すように各針が取り付けられた軸の高さおよびキャップの形状により高低差が生じ台座及びダイヤモンドが取り付けられた針とは異なる針に接触しないようになっている。
外ケース１には、内側壁に開口部を有する照明収納部１８が設けられており、更に電池室あるいは内部制御室につながるコードガイド孔が設けられている。
照明収納部１８にはライト１９が、前記ダイヤモンドが通過移動する位置を照らす方向に設けられている。また、ライト１９から制御部や電池へ配線されるコード２０がコードガイド孔を通して、それぞれ配線される。また、時計には照明スイッチ２１が設けられており、これを押すことでライト１９が点灯するようになっている。
尚、図においては時刻針４、分針５、秒針６は上下に設けられたダイヤモンドと接触しない高さおよび針の長さとなっているが、長さで調整できる場合においては時刻針４、分針５、秒針６の高さ間隔は針同士が接触しない範囲で縮めることが可能である。逆に、時刻針４、分針５、秒針６の高さ間隔が上下ダイヤモンドに接触しない十分な間隔がある場合に関しては、針の長さは考慮しなくてもよい。
