挿入部の先端を構成する先端部本体の先端面に被写体の光像を取り込むための観察窓が配置された大腸挿入用内視鏡の先端部において、
上記先端部本体の外周を全周にわたって軸線周り方向に囲む挿入補助バンドが上記先端部本体に対して着脱自在に設けられ、上記挿入補助バンドの外周部から側方に広がる鍔状部が上記挿入補助バンドに一体に突出形成されていることを特徴とする大腸挿入用内視鏡の先端部。
