Abstract
【解決手段】 電圧を検出するための電圧発生器300と、時間に関して前記電圧を積算し、前記積算に対応して出力信号を生起させる積算器302と、からなるアーク検出器である。またアーク検出器は、前記積算器302の前記出力信号を制御するための放電コントローラ304と、前記積算器302からの前記出力信号を増幅し増幅された信号を出力する増幅器306と、前記増幅された出力信号を基準電圧と比較し前記比較に基づいて検出信号を生起させる比較器308と、を含む。

Description
アーク電流は、本発明のアーク検出回路をテストすべく幾つかの様式に従って生起された。開発された1つの方法は、図7(b)で示されたようなギロチン方式であった。ギロチン500は、一定の高さに巻き上げられ、その後、出力導体およびアース導体を担うジップコード508上に落下することを許容されるウェイト付きのブレード502を使用することによって形成された。そのブレードは、毎回、同じ角度および同じ速度でジップコード上に落下する。それは、バネ504がブレード502を非短絡位置に戻すまで、28ボルトDCおよびアースに対して一緒に切込みを入れ、それらを短い時間周期にわたって短絡させる。アークを発生させる事象の持続時間は、ブレード502の落下ポイントの高さと、ワイヤーの絶縁材料と、ブレードの鋭さと、バネ504の剛性とによって測定される。ギロチンによって形成されるアークは、古典的なDCアークであり、それがゼロではない動作インピーダンスを有するという事実によってのみ、激しい短絡とは異なっている。ギロチン式テストの繰返し可能な性質の要点は、それが手動操作されるものではないという事実にある。
Claims (7)
- アーク検出器であって、
電圧を検出するための電圧発生器と、
時間に関して前記電圧を積算し、前記積算に対応して出力信号を生起させる積算器と、
前記積算器の前記出力信号を制御するための放電コントローラと、
前記積算器からの前記出力信号を増幅し、増幅された信号を出力する増幅器と、
前記増幅された出力信号を基準電圧と比較し、前記比較に基づいて検出信号を生起させる比較器とを含むことを特徴とする、アーク検出器。 - 前記電圧発生器が、電流検知抵抗器を包含することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のアーク検出器。
- 前記積算器が、第2の抵抗器、ダイオードおよびコンデンサを含むことを特徴とする、請求項2に記載のアーク検出器。
- 前記放電コントローラが、第3の抵抗器および前記ダイオードを含むことを特徴とする、請求項3に記載のアーク検出器。
- 前記積算器が、抵抗器、コンデンサおよびダイオードを含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のアーク検出器。
- 前記放電コントローラが、前記ダイオードおよび第2の抵抗器を含むことを特徴とする、請求項5に記載のアーク検出器。
- アークを検出する方法であって、
電圧を発生させ、
時間に関して前記電圧を積算し、最初の信号を生起させ、
前記最初の信号を増幅し、第2の信号を生起させ、
前記第2の信号を基準電圧と比較し、アーク検出信号を生起させる、各ステップを含むことを特徴とする、アークを検出する方法。
