Description

  The present invention relates to a device information registration method and apparatus for a server.

  As a monitoring system, there is a system in which a monitoring camera having a communication function is connected to a server via a network, and an image captured by the monitoring camera is stored in the server. Images stored in the server can be viewed by connecting a user terminal (for example, a PC) to the server. In addition, it is possible to remotely operate the monitoring camera from a user terminal (for example, PC) via a server.

  In such a system, information related to the monitoring camera (connected device information: product ID, MAC address, etc.) needs to be registered on the server side. Conventionally, registration of connected device information is performed by connecting a user terminal (PC) to a server and manually inputting the device information on a registration site provided by the server.
