Description

The present invention relates to a mirror frame that borders an upper edge and a lower edge of a mirror attached to a wall surface, and more particularly to a mirror frame formed of a resin-based material. The present invention also relates to a mirror mounting structure including such a mirror frame.

Mirrors attached to the walls of bathrooms and washstands in public houses or bathrooms of public facilities are generally arranged with a plurality of metal attachments with a substantially J-shaped cross section above and below the mirror. A mirror is placed on the mounting material to receive a load, and at the same time, the mounting material on the upper side of the mirror, which is screwed through the provided vertical hole, is latched and held by sliding downward with respect to this mounting screw. The

This attachment structure is classified into a type in which the attachment material is exposed as a design, and a type in which the attachment material and the upper and lower edges of the mirror are covered with a long decorative frame (see, for example, Patent Document 1). This decorative frame is usually formed of a metal member such as anodized aluminum.
Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 10-179353

By the way, since the metal decorative frame is expensive, there is a demand for cost reduction by replacing it with a resin frame. However, resin-made ones are weaker than metal ones. For example, if a rag or the like is caught on the frame of the edge during mirror surface cleaning or wall surface cleaning around the mirror, it will bend or sag from the mirror surface. Problems occur. If the thickness of the member is increased to avoid this, the entire structure becomes a skeleton and the design may be impaired.

In addition, there is a problem that the upper mounting material gradually shifts due to vibration such as opening and closing of the door when the mirror is cleaned or when cleaning the room wall around the mirror, and the mirror falls off and breaks from the top of the mirror. is there. The mirror frame also has a function of reducing this displacement rise by its frictional force, but the resin mirror frame has a problem that it becomes slippery because it has a smaller coefficient of friction than a metal frame. .

The present invention has been made in consideration of the above-mentioned circumstances, and has a sufficient strength to ensure linearity without causing a part of the mirror frame to be bent or to bend against the mirror. However, it is an object to provide an inexpensive resin-made mirror frame that does not impair the design properties.

Another object of the present invention is to provide a mirror frame that is made of resin and is useful for preventing the upper mounting material from being displaced.

Preferably, as shown in claim 9, the apparent portion further includes an engaging portion that extends from an upper end and can be engaged with a joint material covering the top portion, and the rear surface of the apparent portion and The said wall surface is good also as a structure pressed in the direction mutually separated by the said joint material.

According to the mirror frame according to the present invention, a part of the mirror frame is not bent or twisted with respect to the mirror, and the design property is impaired while having sufficient strength to ensure linearity. An inexpensive resin-made mirror frame can be provided.

In addition, the present invention has an effect of obtaining a mirror frame that is useful for preventing the upper mounting material from being displaced while being made of resin.

An embodiment of a mirror frame according to the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. FIG. 1 schematically shows a system bus 1 having a mirror frame according to the present invention.

As shown in the figure, the system bus 1 includes a floor 2, a wall surface 3, a bathtub 4 and a ceiling 5. On one wall surface 3, there is provided an upper counter 8 provided with a washing faucet 6 and a shower 7, and a lower counter 9 on which a wash basin or the like is placed below the upper counter 8. The mirror 10 whose upper and lower edges are bordered by the lower frame 13 and the upper frame 14 is attached. Further, in the system bus 1 according to the present embodiment, a wall cabinet 11 on the upper side of the mirror 10 in which a lighting fixture is inscribed, and a side cabinet 12 on the side of the mirror 6 that stores a shampoo bottle and the like are integrally formed. .

FIG. 2 is a front view showing the mounting configuration of the mirror 10, and FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view taken along the AA direction in FIG. As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the mirror 10 is placed on a plurality of lower mounting members 15 screwed at fixed intervals by mounting screws 20 at the lower end thereof, and the load is supported. The edge is covered by the lower frame 13 over its entire length. Further, intermediate portions of the lower mounting members 15, 15 of the lower frame 13 are also screwed directly to the wall surface 3 by the mounting screws 20.

On the other hand, the upper edge of the mirror 10 is hooked and held by a plurality of upper mounting members 16 that are screwed at fixed intervals by mounting screws 20, and is covered by the upper frame 14 over the entire length of the upper edge of the mirror 10. A joint material 21 is engaged on the upper frame 14 to prevent water droplets from entering the back surface of the mirror 10.

The lower mounting member 15 is formed by bending a metal plate such as stainless steel, and as shown in FIG. 4, the fixing portion 15 a fixed to the wall surface 3 and the lower end of the fixing portion 15 a are bent 90 degrees. The mounting part 15b in which the mirror 10 is mounted is provided, and the latching part 15c bent 90 degree | times upwards from the front end of the mounting part 15b, and preventing the mirror 10 from dropping off. The fixing portion 15a is formed with a screw hole 15h through which a mounting screw 20 for screwing the lower mounting material 15 to the wall surface 3 is inserted.

Further, on both sides of the upper portion of the fixed portion 15a, mirror contact portions 15d that protrude toward the back surface of the mirror 10 are provided. Since this mirror abutting portion 15d has elasticity, when it is pressed to the wall surface side when the mirror 10 is attached, it is urged so as to press the back surface of the mirror 10 forward by its reaction. This prevents a gap from being generated between the mirror 10 and the lower frame 13, and ensures a gap in which water does not stay between the back surface of the mirror 10 and the wall surface 3.

In addition, a coating portion 15f coated with a soft resin material such as polyvinyl chloride is provided at the end of the mirror abutting portion 15d so that the attached mirror 10 does not shift laterally. Similarly, a coating portion 15e coated with a soft resin material or the like is provided at the end of the fixed portion 15a, and this frictional force prevents the lower attachment material 15 from rotating when attached to the wall surface 3. Note that a hole 15g is provided in the fixing portion 15a so that the coating portion 15e does not come off from the fixing portion 15a, and resin flows into the hole 15g and is connected to the front and back sides.

The lower frame 13 is molded from a resin material such as polypropylene, and as shown in FIG. 5, the vertical section thereof has a fixed portion 13 a that is fixed in contact with the wall surface 3 and a lower end of the fixed portion 13 is bent 90 degrees. The bottom 13b, the visible portion 13c that is bent 90 degrees upward from the front end of the bottom 13b and visible from the system bus 1, the folded portion 13d in which the tip of the visible portion 13c is folded inward by 180 degrees, and the visible portion 13c. And a mounting portion 13e extending horizontally from the lower side to the wall surface side. There is a possibility that water that has flowed down between the back surface of the mirror 10 and the wall surface 3 is retained on the bottom portion 13b. If the mirror 10 is placed there, water adheres and rusting occurs. 13e is provided.

Prior to the attachment to the wall surface 3, the lower attachment member 15 is inserted into the hook portion 15 c between the apparent portion 13 c and the folded portion 13 d of the lower frame 13, and the mounting portion 15 b of the lower attachment member 15. Are mounted on the mounting portion 13e of the lower frame 13 and assembled together (see FIG. 3). The fixing portion 13 a of the lower frame 13 is screwed to the wall surface 3 by the mounting screw 20 together with the fixing portion 13 a of the lower attachment material 15. Further, the fixing portion 13 a of the lower frame 13 is screwed to the wall surface 3 by the mounting screw 20 at an intermediate portion between the one lower mounting material 15 and the adjacent lower mounting material 15.

Thereby, on the front surface of the lower attachment member 15, the apparent portion 13c does not float upward or hang down downward. Further, even in a portion where the lower mounting material 15 is not present, the vertical deflection of the apparent portion 13c is suppressed to be small, and in particular, by being screwed at an intermediate portion between the lower mounting material 15 and the lower mounting material 15, This bending is suppressed to a minimum, and the linearity of the lower frame 13 in the horizontal direction is maintained.

Further, when cleaning the mirror 10 or the wall surface 3 around the mirror 10, even if a dust cloth or the like is caught on the lower frame 13, the hooking portion 15 e of the lower mounting material 15 is not exposed to the visible portion 13 c and the folded portion 13 d of the lower frame 13. In this portion, the visible portion 13c is not rolled forward, and the other portions are not pulled back by being pulled back to the fixed portion.

From the above, even if the material of the lower frame is made of soft resin instead of hard metal, the vertical and longitudinal linearity is maintained and the design is not impaired. You can create a frame.

On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 6, the upper mounting member 16 is guided by an inner 17 fixed to the wall surface 3 and guide portions 17 g 1 to 17 g 3 provided on the inner 17, and slides only in the vertical direction. 10, and an outer 18 that holds 10 and a wire spring 19 that is provided between the outer 18 and the inner 17 and acts to hold the outer 18 by urging it downward.

As shown in FIG. 6A, the inner 17 is fixed to the wall surface 3 with mounting screws 20 or the like so as to pass through the screw holes 17b provided in the fixing portion 17a contacting the wall surface 3. A protrusion 17c is formed on the back surface of the fixing portion 17a so that the fixing portion 17a does not rotate around the mounting screw 20. By fixing the screw, the protrusion 17c is pressed against the wall surface 3 and the fixing portion 17a is fixed. Prevent rotation.

In addition, a mirror abutting portion 17d is provided at the lower portion of the inner 17 so as to protrude toward the back side of the mirror 10. Since this mirror abutting portion 17d has elasticity, when it is pressed toward the wall surface when the mirror 10 is attached, it is urged so as to press the back surface of the mirror 10 forward by its reaction. Thereby, a gap is prevented from being generated between the mirror 10 and the upper frame 14, and a gap in which water does not stay between the rear surface of the mirror 10 and the wall surface 3 is secured.

Further, the end of the mirror contact portion 17d is coated with a soft resin material such as polyvinyl chloride so that the attached mirror 10 is not displaced in the lateral direction, so that a coating portion 17e is formed. A hole 17f is formed in the mirror contact portion 17d, and the resin flows into the hole 17f and is connected to the front and back so that the coating portion 17e is not detached from the mirror contact portion 17d.

The outer 18 is provided with rail portions 18a guided by guide portions 17g1 to 17g3 provided symmetrically to the left and right of the inner 17, connecting the rail portions 18a and 18a, and mirroring from the upper ends of the rail portions 18a and 18a. A top portion 18b extending horizontally to the side 10 and a latching portion 18c suspended from the tip of the top portion 18b in the direction of the rail portion 18a.

The guide portions 17g1 and 17g3 provided on the inner 17 extend laterally from the fixed portion 17a and come into contact with the surface on the wall surface 3 side of the outer 18, whereas the guide portion 17g2 has an end on the fixed portion 17a side. In FIG. 3, the outer side of the outer 18 is bent to the side of the mirror 10 and abuts on the surface of the outer side 18 of the mirror 10. Thus, the guide portions 17g1 to 17g3 guide the rail portions 18a alternately so as to suppress the outer 18 from moving only in the vertical direction.

A stopper 18d protrudes inwardly under the rail portion 18a, and the inner 17 is provided with a wing 17h bent in a substantially square shape on the wall surface 3 side so as to face the stopper 18d. Before the upper attachment member 16 is attached and fixed to the wall surface 3, the wing 17 h can easily get over the stopper 15 while warping toward the side on which the wall surface 3 is located in the operation step of pressing the outer 18 against the inner 17. Further, when the outer 18 is pulled up with respect to the inner 17, the wing 17h and the fixing portion 17a are warped, and the wing 17h gets over the stopper 18d, so that the outer 18 can be pulled up easily.

On the other hand, after the upper mounting member 16 is attached and fixed to the wall surface 3, the outer 18 is pushed down and the mirror 10 is attached and held. In this pressing-down operation step, the wing 17h is attached and fixed to the wall surface 3 as before. The wing 10 can easily get over the stopper 18d by warping to the side where the wall surface 3 is located. However, in the operation step of pulling up, the wall surface 3 interferes, and the fixing 17a of the inner 17 cannot bend toward the wall surface side, and the wing 17h enters between the stopper 18d and the wall surface 3, and both come into contact with each other and interfere. However, as a result, the outer 18 does not lift up easily and continues to hold the mirror 10.

The top 18b is provided with a ridge 18e so as to relieve the collision force between the upper end of the mirror and the top 18b when the outer 18 falls downward by the elastic force of the wire spring 19.

The wire spring 19 is formed in a substantially U-shape that is symmetrical. The curved portion 19b is formed by gently expanding as it goes downward from the fixed portion 19a at the center of the wire spring 19, and hook-shaped spring stoppers 19c are provided at both ends thereof. The fixed portion 19a of the wire spring 19 is supported by the top portion 18b or a hook 18f on the rail portion 18a side in the vicinity thereof, and the curved portions 19b and 19b that are curved to the left and right are guided by spring guides 17i and 17i, respectively, and the outer 18 is The curved portion 19b is guided and slid by the spring guide 17i in accordance with the vertical sliding with respect to the inner 17, and the spring stoppers 19c at both ends of the wire spring 19 are locked by the spring guide 17i. 19 is prevented from coming out.

Further, a second spring guide 17j is formed at the end of the spring guide 17i so that the wire spring 19 can be slid easily by reducing the frictional resistance with the spring guide 17i. The second spring guide 17j also serves as a guide for the rail portion 18a when the outer 18 slides up and down. Then, when the outer 18 is pulled upward by the spring stopper 19c, it is stopped so that the wire spring 19 is lifted by a certain length so that the wire spring 19 does not come off from the spring guide 17i. The curved shape of the wire spring 19 is set so as not to interfere with the mounting screw 20 even when the outer 18 is pulled up.

Further, as shown in FIGS. 6A and 6C, by pulling the outer 18 upward from the inner 17, the shape of the wire spring 19 is deformed, and the spring stopper 19c comes to the position of the spring guide 17i, so that the outer 18 is held so as not to fall downward. After the mirror 10 is installed, the outer stopper 18 is pushed down with a finger to the position where the elastic force of the wire spring 19 works, whereby the spring stopper 19c is released from the spring guide 18i, and the stopper function is released, and the shape of the wire spring 19 is deformed. Thus, the restoring force to return to the original works downward, and the outer 18 is automatically hooked on the upper end of the mirror 10, and the mounting of the mirror 10 is completed. After the attachment, the elastic force of the wire spring 19 prevents the outer 18 from being lifted unless an excessive force is applied to the outer 18. Moreover, even if the outer 18 is lifted when the mirror 10 is wiped with a rag or the like, it returns to its original state and always maintains a constant holding state by the elastic force of the wire spring 19. That is, double safety is secured so that the outer 18 is not easily lifted by the elastic force of the wire spring 19 and the interference force of the stopper 18 d and the wing 10.

The upper frame 14 is molded from a resin material such as polypropylene, as in the lower frame. The vertical cross section of the upper frame 14 is as shown in FIG. 7B, and the upper part of the visible part 14a is visible from the system bus 1. A hooking portion 14b that is bent in a bowl shape toward the wall surface 3 side and is engaged with the joint material 21, and a top portion 14c that extends horizontally from the position slightly lowered from the upper end of the hooking portion 14a to the wall surface and is placed on the upper edge of the mirror 10. And a latching portion 14d that hangs downward from the tip of the top portion 14c and contacts the mirror back surface. Here, it is preferable that the appearance portion 14a of the upper frame 14 is set to the same height as the appearance portion 13c of the lower frame 13 in order to improve the design. Moreover, as shown to Fig.7 (a) and (b), the slit 14e which can insert the latching | locking part 18c of the outer 18 is provided in the position where the upper attachment material 14 is arrange | positioned of the top part 14c.

The visible portion 14a needs to secure a space for inserting the retaining portion 18c of the outer 18 between the back surface and the surface of the mirror 10, and directly contacts the surface of the mirror 10 only at the lower end.

The upper frame 14 is fitted to the upper end of the mirror 10 before the mirror 10 is attached and fixed to the wall surface 3. When the mirror 10 is set at a predetermined position and the outer 18 is pushed down, the latching portion 18c is inserted through the slit 14e, and the mirror 10 is latched and fixed.

Then, as shown in FIG. 3, the mirror 10 is pressed and brought into contact with the latching portion 18 c side of the upper mounting material 16 by the elastic force of the mirror contacting portion 17 d of the upper mounting material 16. Thereby, a gap is prevented from being generated between the mirror 10 and the upper frame 14, and a gap in which water does not stay between the rear surface of the mirror 10 and the wall surface 3 is secured.

Further, since the top portion 14c of the upper frame 14 is also pressed downward by the top portion 18b of the outer 18, the apparent portion 14a does not float upward or hang downward on the front surface of the upper mounting member 16. Further, even in a portion where the upper frame 14 is not provided, the bending of the apparent portion 14ac in the downward direction is suppressed to be small, and the horizontal linearity of the upper frame 14 is maintained.

Further, even when a dust cloth or the like is caught on the upper frame 14 during cleaning of the mirror 10, the top portion 14c of the upper frame 14 is pressed downward by the top portion 18b of the outer 18, so that the visible portion 14a is forward in this portion. In other parts, the latching part 14d is in contact with the back surface of the mirror 10, and thus the amount of forward movement of the hooking part 14a can be suppressed, and this fixed part There will be no drowning from being pulled back.

From the above, even if the material of the upper frame is made of soft resin instead of hard metal, the linearity in the vertical direction and the front-rear direction is maintained and the design is not impaired. You can create a frame.

As shown in FIG. 8, the joint material 21 includes a main body 21 a placed on the top portion 14 c of the upper frame 14, and a fin 21 c extending from one end of the main body toward the wall surface 3. On the end of the main body 21a on the side where the fins are connected, a hooking portion 21b that hooks with the hooking portion 14b of the upper frame 14 is formed, while the other end of the main body 21a, that is, the end located on the wall surface 3 side is It expands slightly in the thickness direction. The main body 21a of the joint material 21 is relatively hard, and the fin 21c is formed of a thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) extruded product made of a flexible material.

Therefore, as shown in FIG. 3, after the mirror 10 is attached and fixed to the wall surface 3, the main body 21 a of the joint material 21 is placed on the top portion 14 c of the upper frame 14, and the engaging portion 14 b of the upper frame 14 and the joint are joined. When the engagement portion 21b of the material 21 is engaged, that is, when the main body 21a of the joint material 21 is sandwiched between the wall surface 3 and the visible portion 14a of the upper frame 14, the main body 21a of the joint material 21 also becomes the upper frame. It plays the role which suppresses the top part 14c of 14, and prevents the outer part 18 from slipping up while preventing the rising and turning of the apparent part 14a.

On the other hand, the tip of the fin 21 c flexes flexibly when it contacts the wall surface 3 and does not create a gap with the wall surface 3, thereby preventing water droplets or the like from entering the back surface of the mirror 10.

The mirror frame according to the present embodiment is configured as described above, and a procedure for attaching a mirror including this mirror frame will be described below with reference to the drawings. FIG. 9 is a flowchart showing this attachment procedure.

First, before attaching the lower attachment material 15 to the wall surface 3, the latching portion 15 e is inserted between the apparent portion 13 c and the folded portion 13 d of the lower frame 13 and the mounting portion 15 b of the lower attachment material 15. Is mounted on the mounting portion 13e of the lower frame 13, and the lower frame 13 and the lower mounting material 15 are combined together (step S1).

As a similar preparatory work, the upper frame 14 is fitted to the upper end of the mirror 10 and combined together (step S2). This is because when the outer 18 is pushed down from the extended state, the latching portion 18c passes through the slit 14e of the upper frame 14 and latches the mirror 10. That is, the mounting portion 18b of the outer 18 This is because it is located on the top 14c of the frame 14, and the upper frame cannot be attached after the mirror 10 is attached.

Next, the mirror mounting position is confirmed, and the integrated lower frame 13 and lower mounting material 15 are fixed to the wall surface 3 with the mounting screw 20 (step S3). Further, the lower frame 13 is screwed directly to the wall surface 3 with the mounting screw 20 at an intermediate position between the lower mounting materials 15 and 15 (step S4). Thereby, since the support space | interval of the lower flame | frame 13 becomes short, the floating of the apparent part 13c, drooping down, turning over, etc. can be decreased.

Then, the mirror mounting position is confirmed, and the upper mounting material 16 is fixed to the wall surface (step S5). Thereafter, the outer 18 of the upper mounting member 16 is stretched, the mirror 10 is placed on the lower mounting member 15 again, and the mirror 10 is pressed in the direction of the wall surface 3 as shown in FIG. 10A (step S6). As shown in (a), the outer 18 attached to the upper side of the mirror 10 is pushed down and attached so that the latching portion 18c is sufficiently hooked on the mirror 10 (step S7).

Thus, in order to lean the mirror 10, as shown in FIGS. 10B and 11B, the mirror contact portion 15d of the lower mounting material 15 and the mirror contact of the upper mounting material 16 on the back surface of the mirror 10 are used. Since the portion 17d is pressed, the mirror 10 is visible to the visible portion 13c and the upper frame 14 of the lower frame 13 by the elastic restoring force of the mirror contact portion 15d of the lower attachment member 15 and the mirror contact portion 17d of the upper attachment member 16. While being pushed back to the hanging portion 14a side and can be stored with good appearance without any gap between the apparent portion 13c and the apparent portion 14a and the surface of the mirror 10, there is a gap between the back surface of the mirror 10 and the wall surface 3. Since it is secured and water does not stay, it is possible to prevent rust from occurring due to water adhering to the back surface of the mirror.

Finally, the engaging portion 21b of the joint material 21 and the engaging portion 14b of the upper frame 14 are engaged to attach the joint material (step S8), and the attaching operation of the mirror 10 is completed.

As described above, the upper mounting member 16 provided on the upper side functions to prevent the outer 18 from moving upward due to the wire spring 19 and the interference between the stopper 18d and the wing 17h. In addition, the main body of the joint material 21 sandwiched between the back surface of the apparent portion 14a of the upper frame 14 and the wall surface 3 exerts a force in a direction of pushing both of them, that is, acts like a stick. Therefore, when the mirror 10 is wiped, the outer 18 is not lifted, and the mirror 10 can be held on the wall surface 3 in a stable state at all times.
