Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a chemical analyzer for a very small amount of an analyte.
In the field of micro chemical analysis chips, which has been attracting attention in recent research, an analysis chip in which a fine flow path is formed on a transparent substrate is created, and a sample, which is an analyte, is placed in the flow path for analysis. . For example, as shown in
In the analyzer shown in
Therefore, as a countermeasure for downsizing of the device, the light source, the light receiving element, and the flow path for optical detection are not made separate components, but each component is applied with an adhesive, a high electric field, or heat. A method of joining and integrating by a method has been proposed.
However, in order to reduce the size of the apparatus by such a method, there is a problem that the method of bonding with a high electric field or heat adds damage such as deformation to a fine flow path. Since there is a boundary having different optical refractive indexes, a part of the light is lost due to reflection, so that there is a problem that the sensitivity of the measurement system is lowered. In addition, there is a method of pressing and fixing each component without using an adhesive, but there is a problem that the position of each element is shifted due to slipping or deformation of each component during pressing.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to provide a highly sensitive chemical analyzer that requires little effort for adjusting an optical system.
The analyzer according to the present invention has a configuration in which a light emitting element and a light receiving element are disposed in close contact with a resin member that transmits light, and the light from the light emitting element is irradiated onto the flow path. Absorption analysis or fluorescence analysis is performed on a sample, which is an analyte in the flow path, received by the light receiving element.
In the analyzer according to the present invention, the flow path is formed in the resin member, and the light emitting element and the light receiving element are in close contact with and integrated with the resin member. Since the optical system is fixed, it is not necessary to adjust the optical system, and since the light emitting element and the light receiving element are in close contact with and integrated with the resin member, a highly sensitive chemical analyzer can be obtained.
図1中の(b)は、図1中(a)のA−Aの断面図である。
FIG. 1 is a diagram showing a partial configuration of an analyzer according to
例えば、樹脂部材4の材質はPDMS(ポリジメチルシロキサン)である。

In the first embodiment, a printed circuit board is used as the
Hereinafter, the operation of the analyzer according to the first embodiment will be described. In this analyzer, the sample for absorption analysis is flowed to the
A method for manufacturing the analyzer according to the first embodiment will be described with reference to FIGS. (A) to (f) in FIG. 2 are shown in the order of steps when the structure (b) in FIG. 1 is created. As shown in (a) to (b) of FIG. 2, first, the
Next, as shown in FIG. 2C, PDMS (polydimethylsiloxane) before polymerization is applied on the
On the other hand, a
A method of creating a connection wiring between the light emitting
The structure of the first embodiment is an apparatus in which the
The above is an example of the
FIG. 3 illustrates another method for establishing an electrical connection with the outside of the
The configuration of the first embodiment described above functions as an analyzer that captures light absorption, but can also function as a fluorescence analyzer. Depending on the sample, fluorescence may be emitted according to the irradiated light. Since this fluorescence can be detected by the
The analyzer according to the second embodiment will be described. As for the structure of the analyzer according to the second embodiment, the
According to the second embodiment, since the recess is formed in the lid, the
Although the number of light emitting elements is one in the first embodiment, a plurality of light emitting elements having different emission wavelengths are used in the third embodiment. For example, the case where two light emitting
The operation of the third embodiment will be described. (A) in FIG. 5 shows an initial operation for obtaining a signal for absorption analysis. Note that an
Although the number of light receiving elements is one in the third embodiment, a plurality of

FIG. 7 is a diagram illustrating a manufacturing method according to the fifth embodiment. First, as shown in (a) to (b) or (f) to (h) in FIG. 7, the
Next, the surface of each
Since the structure of the fifth embodiment is a system in which the light-emitting
An example of an E. coli test apparatus using the analyzer shown in
Next, the operation of the sixth embodiment will be described. The sample water to be examined from the
For example, when the
In the above sixth embodiment, the

Next, the operation of the seventh embodiment will be described. Tap water, which is a sample to be examined from the
For example, when the
In the tap water chlorine concentration inspection apparatus shown in the seventh embodiment, the analyzer shown in the fifth embodiment is used. However, as used in the sixth embodiment, the filter passes only a band around 510 nm. May be arranged on the front surface of the light receiving element, that is, the light receiving surface 9. With this configuration, light other than 510 nm does not enter the light receiving element, so that detection accuracy can be further improved.
