開口端付近にフランジを有する2本の通水管を前記フランジ同士を互いに対向接触させて接続した通水管の接続部分に装着される通水管接続具であって、
対向接触した前記フランジに着脱可能に係合するクリップと、前記クリップの外周に着脱可能に取り付けられたカバーとで構成され、
前記クリップが、前記フランジを着脱可能に挟持するため先端部同士を離して配置された2つの腕部と、2つの前記腕部を互いに弾性的に開閉可能に保つため前記腕部の基端部を連接する腕支持部と、前記フランジを前記腕部の間に誘導するため前記腕部の先端部に設けられた拡径形状のガイド部とを備え、
前記カバーが、前記腕部の外側にそれぞれ配置される腕カバー部と、前記腕カバー部同士を開閉可能に保つため前記腕カバー部の基端部を連接するカバー支持部と、前記ガイド部を前記腕部が開く方向に貫通させるため前記腕カバー部に開設された開口部または切欠部と、前記腕カバー部同士を連結するため前記腕カバー部に設けられた連結手段とを備えたことを特徴とする通水管接続具。
