Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a coating composition having a thermosetting resin composition used for a decorative sheet coated to protect the surface of a substrate such as paper, plastic or metal.
The surface of the base material such as paper, plastic, metal, etc. used for surface decoration of building interiors and exteriors, furniture fittings, etc. has various performances such as hardness, scratch resistance, friction resistance, chemical resistance, etc. A coating is applied to add and protect the surface. As these coating compositions for decorative sheets, a method of adding an alumina filler is known as a known technique for improving scratch resistance and friction resistance (see, for example, Patent Document 1). However, although the alumina filler is very excellent in scratch resistance and friction resistance, since it has these performances excessively, the contacted material is damaged more than necessary. In addition, as the amount of the alumina filler added increases, the transparency of the coating film decreases and the underlying pattern becomes unclear.
An object of the present invention is to provide a decorative sheet having a surface layer excellent in scratch resistance and abrasion resistance while maintaining the transparency of the coating film, and a coating composition used for the decorative sheet.
As a result of intensive studies, the present inventors have added glass-based fillers to the thermosetting resin composition, while maintaining the transparency of the coating film, which is the object of the present invention, and the scratch resistance of the surface layer of the decorative sheet and The inventors have found that the wear resistance is improved, and have reached the present invention.

When the glass-based filler is less than 0.1 parts by mass, the scratch resistance and abrasion resistance are not sufficient, and when it exceeds 20 parts by mass, the transparency of the coating film is lowered and the underlying pattern tends to be unclear.
