連結固定後、拡張フレーム3と壁面パネル2の上端との間に、防水シール部材4(廻縁4)を圧入嵌合し、浴室ユニット内に露見する天井パネル1と壁面パネル2の境界部分を隠蔽する(図3参照)。
上記の図4(a)に示す拡張フレーム3によれば、区画壁1dに覆い被せる天井パネル取付片3bを備えているので、天井パネル1の周縁への取付け位置を確定し易く、取付施工が容易である。

まず、拡張フレーム3の固定ねじ挿通孔3eと起立片1aの挿通孔1cとに、固定ねじ6が螺装固定できるように、拡張フレーム3の取付位置を決め、固定ねじ通し孔3dより固定ねじ6を挿入して、固定ねじ挿通孔3eと挿通孔1cを通じて螺装固定する。続く、壁面取付部材2aとの連結固定要領及び、防水シール部材4(廻縁4)の嵌合要領は、図4(a)の場合と同様であるので、説明を割愛する。
上記の図4(b)に示す拡張フレーム3によれば、形状がシンプルなので、加工成型が容易である。

また図5(b)に示すように、浴室ユニットを拡張することにより、浴室ユニット内に露見する天井パネル1の周縁と壁面パネル2の上端とで形成される境界部分を廻縁4で隠蔽しているので、見栄えがよく、浸水を防止することができる。
