Abstract
Description
また、更なる好適な実施形態によると、検知手段は電圧源及び電流測定部を有する。なお、ここでは電圧源は既に具備されているため、電流測定部を追加するだけで検知手段によるセンサ機能が実現されうる。
アクチュエータ手段V及び6はダイヤフラム7を所定時間振動させるように構成される。典型的にはこの振動は液体レベルの変更によってダイヤフラム7が異なる状態に変化した場合に適用される。この振動は触覚をより自然に引き起こすことを可能にする。なお、同業者であればこのような機能を実現するためのアクチュエータ手段としては様々な好適な構成を適用することが可能である。この一例として上記の所定時間において電源Vによって供給される電圧を振動させる手段などがある。
Claims (12)
- 導電液体を含む液体素子で、前記導電液体の液体レベルは変動可能であるような液体素子を複数有し、且つ前記複数の液体素子の中から選択された1又は複数の液体素子に電力を印加することによって前記液体素子の液体レベルを変動させるアクチュエータ手段を有する触覚装置であって、更に各液体素子は一方の端部においてそれぞれに含まれる液体と接触していてユーザに対して該液体の液体レベルを示す触覚素子を有するような触覚装置において、
前記液体素子は毛管を有し、前記液体レベルは電気毛管圧力によって変動可能であることを特徴とする触覚装置。 - 前記アクチュエータ手段は所定時間中において前記触覚素子を振動させるように構成されることを特徴とする請求項1記載の触覚装置。
- 前記触覚素子は可撓性材料で形成されるダイヤフラムから構成されることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の触覚装置。
- 前記ダイヤフラムは少なくとも1つの接触スポットを有することを特徴とする請求項3記載の触覚装置。
- 1又は複数の前記毛管の他方の端部には可撓性材料からなる更なるダイヤフラムが設けられることを特徴とする請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載の触覚装置。
- 前記アクチュエータ手段は選択された1又は複数の前記毛管の液体レベルを所定のプレストレスレベルに設定するように構成され、前記装置は更に前記選択された毛管内の液体レベルの変化を検知するための検知手段を有することを特徴とする請求項1乃至5のいずれかに記載の触覚装置。
- 前記検知手段は前記選択された毛管内の電気キャパシタンスの変化を検知するように構成されることを特徴とする請求項6記載の触覚装置。
- 1又は複数の前記毛管は相互に異なる導電性を有し且つ実質的に不混和である第1液体及び第2液体を有することを特徴とする請求項1乃至7のいずれかに記載の触覚装置。
- 前記第1液体又は前記第2液体のうちの一方は導電性の液体であって、他方は電気絶縁性の液体であることを特徴とする請求項8記載の触覚装置。
- 前記アクチュエータ手段は電源及び複数の電極を有することを特徴とする請求項1乃至9のいずれかに記載の触覚装置。
- 前記検知手段は電圧源及び電流測定部を有することを特徴とする請求項6乃至10のいずれかに記載の触覚装置。
- 1又は複数の前記毛管は前記毛管の壁に付着される電極を1以上有することを特徴とする請求項10又は11記載の触覚装置。
