Abstract
Description

その際、硬化後に材料は、室温で200%の伸長後に約20%未満の応力緩和、並びに37.7℃(100°F)及び50%の伸長で10時間後に約45%未満の応力緩和を有する。

(A)破損時の引っ張り強度及び伸長
本方法により測定される特性は、エラストマーフィルムの伸縮性に相関してもよい。これらの特性は、吸収性物品、特にプルオンおむつ、トレーニングパンツ、ファスナ付き使い捨ておむつ、又は装着された場合に実質的に伸張される大人の使用のためのその他の吸収性衣類の弾性構成成分として用いるのに適した材料の選択に関連する。
(1)試験用の適切なつかみ具及びロードセルを選定する。つかみ具は試料に適合するために十分な幅にすべきであり、典型的には幅2.54cm(1インチ)のつかみ具が用いられる。ロードセルは、被試験試料からの張力応答がロードセルの容量又は用いられる荷重範囲の25%〜75%になるように選定され、典型的には22.7kg(50ポンド)のロードセルが用いられる。
(2)製造業者の指示に従って機器を較正する。
(3)基準長を2.54cm(1インチ)に設定する。
(4)試料を、製造業者の指示に従って、つかみ具の平面に設置する。
(5)クロスヘッドの速度を0.254m/分(10インチ/分)の定速に設定する。
(6)試験を開始し、同時にデータを収集する。及び
(7)破断時の伸長、並びに100%、200%、及び300%の伸長時の荷重を包含する引っ張り特性を計算し報告する。3試料の平均の結果が報告される。
この方法により測定される特性は、弾性構成成分、例えばサイドパネル、ウエストバンドなどを有する製品を装着する間に装着者が経験する弾性力に相関してもよく、特に製品が長期間装着された後にどのように製品が体温に適合するかに相関してもよい。この方法により測定される特性は、体温(およそ37.7℃(100°F))での持続負荷の下で応力緩和に抵抗する、したがって吸収性物品の長期装着時間にわたる持続適合を提供する材料の選択に関連する。

(7)持続負荷応力緩和試験を開始し、同時にデータを収集するが、持続負荷応力緩和試験は次の工程を有する。
a)0.254m/分(10インチ/分)の速度で200%まで伸長する。
b)30秒間その位置で保持する。
c)0.254m/分(10インチ/分)で0%伸長にする。
d)60秒間その位置で保持する。
e)0.254m/分(10インチ/分)の速度で50%まで伸長する。
f)10時間その位置で保持する。及び
g)0%伸長にする。及び
h)50%伸長での応力緩和を、初期荷重と工程7(f)の時間tにおける荷重との間の損失%として次のように計算する。
この方法により測定される特性は、製品中に組み込まれた弾性構成成分により装着者が経験する力に関連してもよい。第一周期は、製品を装着者に装着させるために又は製品を装着者に適合するように調整するために、製品が最初に伸張される場合に弾性構成成分が経験する状態を模擬実験する予備伸張工程である。第二周期は、予備伸張工程の結果として得られる弾性力の減少(即ち応力緩和)を測定する。

Claims (14)
- 放射線硬化性材料であって、
a)ビニルアレーンを含む少なくとも一つの硬いブロック、及びジエンを含む少なくとも一つの柔らかいブロックを有するブロックコポリマーである、20〜80重量%の熱可塑性エラストマー(TPE)、
b)5〜60重量%のプロセスオイル、
c)〜60重量%のマクロ光開始剤、
d)任意に0.5〜10重量%の架橋剤、及び
e)任意に1〜60重量%の、ポリビニルアレーンを含む熱可塑性ポリマーの組成物
を含み、
その際、硬化後に該材料が、室温で200%の伸長後に20%未満の応力緩和、並びに37.7℃(100°F)及び50%の伸長で10時間後に45%未満の応力緩和を有する、放射線硬化性材料。 - 該マクロ光開始剤が、ビニルアレーン、不飽和ジエン、部分的に飽和されたジエン、及びこれらの混合物から成る群から選択されるモノマーを含む、請求項1に記載の放射線硬化性材料。
- 1〜20%の該硬いブロックが、不飽和又は部分的に飽和されたジエンを含む、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の放射線硬化性材料。
- 該プロセスオイルが、炭化水素油、石油由来のオイル及びワックス、合成ワックス、天然ワックス、ミネラルワックス又は採掘されたワックス、オレフィン性オリゴマー、及びこれらの混合物から成る群から選択され、並びに該架橋剤が、チオール、ジアクリレート、トリアクリレート、ジメタクリレート、又はトリメタクリレートである、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の放射線硬化性材料。
- 共押し出しUV硬化性エラストマーフィルムであって、前記フィルムが、エラストマー層及び該エラストマー層に接合した少なくとも一つの熱可塑性皮膚層を含み、前記エラストマー層が、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の放射線硬化性材料を含む、共押し出しUV硬化性エラストマーフィルム。
- 人体に隣接して装着される物品であって、該物品の少なくとも一部分が、対向する第一及び第二表面を有するエラストマー層、並びに該エラストマー層の該第一表面に接合した少なくとも第一皮膚層を含む伸縮性積層体を含み、
その際、該エラストマー層が、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の放射線硬化性材料を含む、人体に隣接して装着される物品。 - 該伸縮性積層体が更に、該エラストマー層の該第二表面に接合した第二皮膚層を含む、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の物品。
- 該第一及び該第二皮膚層が同じであるか又は異なり、並びにポリオレフィン、α−アルケンポリマー、ポリジエン、エチレンコポリマー、ポリビニルアレーン、ポリフェニレンオキシド、及びこれらの混合物から成る群から選択される熱可塑性ポリマーを含む、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の物品。
- 該伸縮性積層体が、多層フィルム、巨視的に伸張された三次元ウェブ、又は有孔ウェブである、請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の物品。
- 該伸縮性積層体が、該第一皮膚層の開放表面上で繊維性不織布材料に接合して複合積層体を形成する、請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載の物品。
- 該物品の該一部分が、サイドパネル、脚部弾性部材、ウエスト弾性部材、弾性トップシート、弾性バックシート、及びこれらの組み合わせから成る群から選択される、請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載の物品。
- 該物品が、テープ止め/固定おむつ、プルオンおむつ、トレーニングパンツ、失禁用衣類、生理用ナプキン、パンティーライナー、拭き取り用品、創傷包帯、包帯、ドレープ、ラップ、水着、スポーツウェア、ストッキング、レギンス、又は下着である、請求項1〜12のいずれか一項に記載の物品。
- 伸縮性積層体を製造するための方法であって、
請求項1〜5に記載のエラストマー材料及び熱可塑性ポリマーを共押し出ししてエラストマーのコア層及び少なくとも一つの熱可塑性皮膚層を含む伸縮性積層体を形成する工程、
該伸縮性積層体を放射線架橋して十分な量の架橋を達成し、該エラストマーフィルムの応力緩和特性を改善する工程、
該伸縮性積層体に孔を開ける工程、
任意に、該皮膚層の自由な表面を繊維性不織布材料に接合し、複合積層体を形成する工程、及び
任意に、該複合積層体の少なくとも一部分を徐々に伸張して、該伸張される部分内の該繊維性不織布材料を永続的に伸長する工程
を含む方法。
