Abstract
【解決手段】 本発明では、封止樹脂が多孔性スクリーンによって画成される主な通路に突出すように封止樹脂を流して、濾過カセット内の封止開口部のリーディングエッジ周辺のフローダイナミクスを改善する。封止樹脂は各通路内で少なくとも流路の端部を画成する。望ましくは、封止樹脂は通路内に延在し、通路の液体の不均一な流れの形成を大幅に低減又は解消する。多孔性メッシュは、流路内の所望の位置に真空ドローを行う間、樹脂を導くように形成された開口部を画成することができる。多孔性メッシュはさらに、形成された周縁部を含み、これも流動性樹脂を多孔性メッシュにドローするのに役立ち、さらに、液体の不均一な流れの形成を大幅に低減又は解消する流路を画成することができる。

Claims (11)
- 第一及び第二の濾材層と、第一、第二及び第三の多孔性スクリーンとを備える濾過カセットであって、第一及び第二のスクリーンが第一及び第二の供給液/保持液通路を画成し、第三のスクリーンが濾液通路を画成し、第一、第二及び第三のスクリーンと第一及び第二の濾材層が各々、供給液/保持液通路及び濾液通路との液体連絡を妨げないようにそれぞれ重なり合うように配置される複数の供給液/保持液開口部及び濾液開口部を画成し、濾過カセットがさらに、濾材を通しての供給液/保持液通路と濾液通路との液体の連絡を遮るように濾材とスクリーンの周囲に配置された封止樹脂を含んでおり、封止樹脂が各流体通路内の1つの流路の少なくとも一部を画成するように液体通路内に延在する、濾過カセット。
- 前記封止樹脂が、供給液/保持液スクリーン及び濾液スクリーンの周縁部及び開口部に沿って延在する、請求項1記載の濾過カセット。
- 前記封止樹脂が、前記通路を通る液体の流れの不均一さの形成をなくすように通路内に延在する、請求項1記載の濾過カセット。
- 前記スクリーンが、真空引込時に樹脂を流路内の所望の位置に導く形状の開口部を画成する、請求項1記載の濾過カセット。
- 前記スクリーンが、流動性樹脂の引込を促す形状の周縁部をさらに含む、請求項1記載の濾過カセット。
- 前記供給液/保持液開口部が、該濾液スクリーンの長手方向軸に対してのみ対称となるように形作られる、請求項1記載の濾過カセット。
- 前記濾液開口部が、供給液/保持液スクリーンの長手方向軸に対してのみ対称となるように形作られる、請求項1記載の濾過カセット。
- 前記供給液/保持液開口部が、3つの軸に対してのみ対称な形状となるように形作られる、請求項1記載の濾過カセット。
- 前記濾液開口部が、3つの軸に対してのみ対称となるように形作られる、請求項1記載の濾過カセット。
- 前記供給液/保持液開口部が非対称形に形作られる、請求項1記載の濾過カセット。
- 前記濾液開口部が非対称な形状である、請求項1記載の濾過カセット。
