Description

The present invention relates to absorbent articles such as sanitary napkins, incontinence pads, cage sheets, and disposable diapers.

Absorbent articles in which one side or both sides of an absorbent body are embossed are known. For example, for the purpose of increasing liquid diffusibility or reducing wetback, an absorbent article in which an absorbent body is compressed from the back sheet side or both sides by embossing to form a compressed part and an uncompressed part has been proposed. (See Patent Document 1).

However, in the above-mentioned absorbent article, it cannot be said that the liquid transfer property to the absorbent body is sufficiently fast, and the surface sheet is wet immediately after the liquid is excreted, resulting in a sticky feeling with the skin. End up. In addition, since the embossing is applied to the entire area of the absorbent body facing the surface sheet, the rigidity of the absorbent article as a whole is increased in rigidity, and the fit with the body is impaired or leakage is likely to occur. turn into.

Therefore, the objective of this invention is providing the absorbent article which can eliminate the various fault which the prior art mentioned above has.

In the present invention, the absorbent body is embossed from the back sheet facing surface side of the absorbent body, a large number of recesses are formed on the back sheet facing surface, and a dense structure is formed across the surface direction of the absorbent body. In addition, the absorber is embossed together with the surface sheet from the surface sheet facing surface side in the absorbent body, and a plurality of pressure-bonding portions are formed in the excretory part facing region in the surface sheet facing surface,
The object is achieved by providing an absorbent article in which the absorbent body and the topsheet are in close contact with each other in at least the excretory part facing region of the topsheet facing surface.

Since the absorbent article of the present invention can absorb a large amount of liquid instantly, a dry state is always maintained even after the liquid is excreted, and a comfortable wearing feeling can be obtained. Further, since the dense structure is formed over the entire area of the absorbent body, the liquid easily diffuses in the planar direction within the absorbent body, and the entire absorbent capacity can be utilized. Therefore, the amount of pulp and superabsorbent polymer used can be reduced without reducing the absorption capacity. Furthermore, since the embossing is performed over the entire area of the absorbent body, the shape retaining property of the absorbent body is enhanced, and it is difficult for warpage to occur.

The present invention will be described below based on preferred embodiments with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 shows a perspective view of a sanitary napkin which is an embodiment of the absorbent article of the present invention. 2 is a cross-sectional view taken along line II-II in FIG.

A sanitary napkin 1 shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 includes a liquid-permeable top sheet 2, a liquid-impermeable back sheet 3, and a liquid-retaining absorbent 4 interposed between the two sheets. It is formed substantially vertically long. The absorber 4 is sandwiched and fixed between the top sheet 2 and the back sheet 3. The topsheet 2 forms a skin contact surface that is directed to the wearer's skin when worn. As for the surface sheet 2 in this embodiment, the side part sheet | seat 5 is continuously provided in the both-sides edge part, respectively. The side sheet 5 and the back sheet 3 extend outward in the width direction from both side edges in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent body 4, and are joined to each other at the extended portion to form a side flap 50. Further, the top sheet 2 and the back sheet 3 extend outward in the longitudinal direction from both ends in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent body 4, and are joined to each other at the extending portion to form an end seal portion 6. As the back sheet 3 and the side sheet 5, those normally used in the technical field can be used without any particular limitation. The same applies to the absorbent body 4, and for example, a pile of pulp and superabsorbent polymer can be used. Details of the top sheet 2 will be described later.

As shown in FIG. 2, in the napkin 1 of the present embodiment, a large number of dot-shaped recesses 7 are formed on the back surface sheet facing surface side of the absorbent body 4. It is preferable to provide the dot-shaped recessed part 7 at least in the excretion part opposing area | region of the back surface opposing surface in the absorber 4, and in this embodiment, it is formed over the whole region of a back surface opposing surface. The dot-shaped recess 7 is formed by embossing the absorbent body 4 from the back sheet facing surface side of the absorbent body 4. However, the absorber 4 is not embossed from the surface facing the surface sheet except for the excretory part facing region described later. As a result, the back sheet facing surface of the absorbent body 4 is an uneven surface, and the top sheet facing surface is substantially flat. However, the surface sheet facing surface may be slightly recessed at the position corresponding to the dot-shaped recess 7 depending on the embossing conditions when forming the dot-shaped recess 7.

In addition, the embossing for forming the dot-shaped recessed part 7 is performed only with respect to the absorber 4. FIG. That is, the absorbent body 4 is not embossed together with the top sheet 2 and the back sheet 3 to form the dot-shaped recess 7.

Furthermore, the absorber 4 is embossed from the back sheet facing surface side, whereby the absorber 4 is formed with a dense structure over the entire surface thereof. Specifically, a sparse / dense structure is formed which includes a compressed dense part 4a and a sparse part 4b in an uncompressed state. The dense portion 4 a is located at the bottom of the dot-shaped recess 7.

Since the dense structure is formed in the absorber 4, two functions can be given to the absorber 4. The first is a function of increasing the diffusibility of the liquid due to the presence of the dense portion 4a. In the dense portion 4 a, the capillary force works strongly, and the liquid is quickly diffused in the plane direction of the absorber 4. The second is a function of increasing the liquid permeability due to the presence of the sparse portion 4b. Since the sparse part 4 b has a space through which the liquid easily passes, the excreted liquid quickly permeates in the thickness direction of the absorber 4. By these two functions, quick liquid permeation and diffusion can be realized, and the liquid can be sufficiently diffused in the plane direction in the absorber 4 so that the absorption capacity of the entire absorber can be fully utilized. As a result, the amount of pulp or superabsorbent polymer used can be reduced without reducing the absorption capacity. This is advantageous from the economical viewpoint and from the viewpoint of reducing the environmental load.

By forming the dense structure in the absorbent body 4, the shape retaining property of the absorbent body 4 is increased, and for example, even if the wearer performs a violent operation, the additional effect that the absorbent body 4 is less likely to occur. There is also.

The dot-shaped concave portion 7 has an area of 0.5 to 15 mm 2 , particularly 1 to 10 mm 2 , and can design an effective capillary force against liquid diffusion and has an excessively high rigidity against bending of the whole napkin. This is preferable because it does not give the wearer a sense of incongruity or anxiety that does not fit. It is preferable that the dot-shaped recessed part 7 is a shape with a low anisotropy whose aspect ratio is close to 1. For example, the shape may be a circle, a rectangle, a polygon such as a triangle, or the like. The ratio of the total area of the dot-shaped recesses 7 to the back sheet facing surface in the absorbent body 4 (hereinafter referred to as the back sheet facing surface area ratio) is 1 to 50%, particularly 2 to 30%. 4 is preferable in that a desired density structure can be formed.

The dot-shaped recess 7 has a pitch in the longitudinal direction of the napkin 1 of 3 to 10 mm, particularly 3 to 7 mm, and a pitch in the width direction of the napkin 1 of 3 to 10 mm, particularly 3 to 7 mm. It is preferable in that it has both a capillary force effective for liquid diffusion and a space through which liquid can easily permeate. By these two functions, quick liquid permeation and diffusion can be realized, and the absorption capacity of the entire absorbent body can be fully utilized.

As described above, since the dot-shaped concave portion 7 is provided on the back sheet facing surface of the absorber 4, a dense structure is formed in the absorber 4, and the top sheet facing surface of the absorber 4 is substantially the same. It is a flat surface. As a result, the adhesion between the absorbent body 4 and the top sheet 2 is enhanced, and the liquid transfer from the top sheet 2 to the absorbent body 4 is further accelerated. From this viewpoint, as described later, it is preferable that the back surface (that is, the absorber-facing surface) of the topsheet 2 is substantially flat.

As shown in FIG. 1, the napkin 1 is formed with crimping portions 9 at a plurality of locations in the central portion A in the width direction of the excretory portion facing region on the skin contact surface side. The crimping part 9 has a short linear shape. The crimping part 9 is formed so as to extend in the longitudinal direction of the napkin 1. The crimping part 9 is formed discontinuously at a predetermined interval in the longitudinal direction of the napkin 1. Further, the napkin 1 is formed in multiple rows at predetermined intervals in the width direction.

The crimping part 9 is formed by compressing the top sheet 2 and the absorber 4 integrally. The crimping part 9 is formed by embossing the absorber 4 together with the surface sheet 2 from the surface facing the surface sheet of the absorber 4. In the crimping part 9, the top sheet 2 is pressed by an emboss pin (not shown), and the entire thickness direction of the top sheet 2 is invaded into the absorber 4, and the surface at the indented part The sheet 2 is bonded and fixed to the absorber 4. Therefore, the top sheet 2 is fixed to the absorber 4 in a state where tension is applied between the crimping portions. Due to this tension, even if the napkin 1 is deformed by the movement of the body during wearing, the adhesion between the topsheet 2 and the absorbent body 4 is maintained well and excreted on the topsheet 2. The liquid is quickly transferred to the absorber 4 and absorbed. The surface sheet 2 and the absorbent body 4 can be joined by heat-sealing these constituent fibers or bonding them with an adhesive.

In the crimping part 9, high density / low density parts may be alternately arranged. This is effective because the rigidity of the crimping part 9 is relaxed, the fitting property is increased, and the liquid drawing force is increased.

Further, by forming a leak-proof groove over the entire periphery outside the area where the crimping portion 9 is formed, or by forming continuous leak-proof grooves on the front and rear sides or both the left and right sides of the area, Since the crimping part 9 is positioned by the leakage groove, the topsheet 2 and the absorbent body 4 come into close contact with each other. As a result, the movement of bodily fluids is promoted and liquid leakage does not occur. Details of the leak-proof groove will be described later.

The arrangement pattern of each of the crimping portion 9 and the dot-like recess 7 is not particularly limited. As shown in the drawing, the effect of preventing leakage is further enhanced by arranging the crimping portions 9 substantially vertically in the product length direction. Moreover, although not shown in figure, the crimping | compression-bonding part 9 arranges substantially vertically long in the product width direction, and a product becomes easy to curve and the fitting property with respect to a body increases. The dot-shaped concave portions 7 may also be regularly arranged at equal intervals throughout the absorber, or may be arbitrarily arranged in the length direction and width direction of the product.

The relative arrangement pattern of the crimping portion 9 and the dot-like recess 7 is not particularly limited, but in particular, a large number of recesses 7 are formed on the opposite surface of the back surface of the absorbent body 4 below the crimping portion 9 to absorb. It is preferable that a sparse / dense structure extending in the surface direction of the body 4 is formed. Thereby, the diffusibility of the liquid in the absorber 4 is further promoted. Moreover, the liquid permeability in the absorber is further promoted.

As will be described later, when the topsheet 2 has elasticity, the topsheet 2 is integrated with the absorbent body 4 while being stretched, so that the topsheet 2 is deeper than the absorbent body 4 in the thickness direction. Joining occurs. Therefore, the adhesiveness between the topsheet 2 and the absorbent body 4 is further increased, and the liquid excreted on the topsheet 2 moves to the absorbent body 4 more quickly through the crimping portion. Moreover, since the surface sheet 2 is unlikely to be detached from the absorbent body 4 at the crimping portion, the structural stability against the movement of the body is excellent. According to the napkin 1 of the present embodiment, the liquid residue and the liquid flow on the top sheet can be prevented by such an action, and an excellent absorption performance and leakage prevention performance are expressed and a comfortable feeling with reduced wet feeling is achieved. A feeling of wearing can be obtained.

For the above reasons, it is essential that the crimping part 9 is formed in the excretory part opposing region in the napkin 1, but in addition, the crimping part 9 is preferably formed only in the excretory part opposing region. . If the crimping part 9 is formed in the whole area of the napkin 1, the napkin 1 has high rigidity, so that the fit of the napkin 1 is reduced and leakage is likely to occur.

As shown in FIG. 1, it is desirable that the crimping portion 9 extends in the longitudinal direction of the napkin 1. As a result, the excreted liquid is guided along the crimping part 9 and flows in the longitudinal direction of the napkin 1, and liquid leakage from the side part of the napkin 1 is prevented. In addition, there is an advantage that the flexibility in the width direction of the napkin 1 is not impaired and the fitting property is enhanced. The length of the crimping part 9 is preferably 5 to 20 mm, particularly 5 to 10 mm.

The area of the crimping part 9 is 1 to 20 mm 2 , particularly 5 to 10 mm 2 , so that the liquid excreted on the top sheet 2 moves to the absorbent body 4 more quickly, and the top sheet 2 is separated from the absorbent body. It is preferable from the point of being hard to do. The ratio of the total area of the crimping portions 9 to the surface facing the surface of the absorbent body 4 (hereinafter referred to as the surface sheet facing surface area ratio) is 0.01 to 2.0%, particularly 0.05 to 1.0%. A low value of this is preferable from the viewpoint of preventing the rigidity of the absorber 4 from being excessively increased.

It is preferable that the crimping portion 9 has a pitch in the longitudinal direction of the napkin 1 of 5 to 50 mm, particularly 5 to 30 mm from the viewpoint that the whole napkin can be easily bent and the napkin can be easily fitted to the body. In addition, the pitch in the width direction of the napkin 1 is 5 to 30 mm, particularly 5 to 20 mm, so that the topsheet 2 adheres well to the absorbent body 4, and the excreted liquid is more promptly applied to the absorbent body 4. It is preferable from the viewpoint that it does not cause rigidity that causes discomfort to the wearer as well as shifting.

In the napkin 1 of the present embodiment, the area ratio of the back sheet facing surface side is higher than the area ratio of the surface sheet facing surface side. Thereby, the drawability of the liquid can be sufficiently increased. From this viewpoint, the value of the area ratio of the back sheet facing surface / the area ratio of the facing sheet facing surface is preferably 2 to 900, particularly 10 to 500. Note that the values of the area ratio of the back sheet facing surface side and the area ratio of the surface sheet facing surface itself are as described above.

For the same reason as the area ratio, in the napkin 1 of the present embodiment, the front sheet is larger than the pitch between the dot-shaped recesses 7 formed on the back sheet facing surface side in the longitudinal direction and / or the width direction. It is preferable that the pitch between the crimping portions 9 formed on the opposing surface side is larger.

As shown in FIG. 1, a leak-proof groove 10 is formed in the excretory part facing region of the napkin 1 separately from the crimping part 9. The leak-proof grooves 10 are located on both sides of the central portion of the excretory part facing region where the crimping part 9 is formed, and have a closed shape so as to surround the crimping part 9. The leak-proof groove 10 is formed by continuously joining the topsheet 2 and the absorber 4 on the skin contact surface side of the napkin 1. As with the crimping part 9, the leak-proof groove 10 is also formed by embossing.

Since the leak-proof groove 10 is formed on the outer side of the crimping part 9, the topsheet 2 is stretched not only between the crimping parts but also between the crimping part 9 and the leak-proofing groove 10. 4 will be joined. As a result, not only between the crimping portions but also between the crimping portion 9 and the leak-proof groove 10, the adhesion between the topsheet 2 and the absorbent body 4 is improved, and the liquid excreted on the topsheet 2 is absorbed by the absorbent body. 4 is absorbed more rapidly. In order to make this effect more prominent, it is preferable to form the leak-proof groove 10 first and then form the crimping part in the manufacture of the napkin 1. This is because the surface sheet 2 and the absorber 4 are joined by this operation while effectively applying tension to the surface sheet 2.

The topsheet 2 in the napkin 1 of the present embodiment has a large number of convex portions 11 on the surface side. The convex portion 11 is formed in an island shape over the entire surface side of the topsheet 2. The top sheet 2 is made of a fiber material such as a non-woven fabric, and the convex portion 11 is filled with fibers. By forming many convex parts 11, it becomes easy for the excreted liquid to flow into the concave part between the convex parts 11, and a liquid is removed from the surface of the surface sheet 2 rapidly. Moreover, the surface sheet 2 has a high compression recovery property in the thickness direction and exhibits a good cushion feeling. Furthermore, since the contact area with the skin is reduced, stuffiness is prevented and the dry feeling is further enhanced. From these viewpoints, the height of the convex portion 11 is preferably 0.3 to 5 mm, particularly 0.5 to 3 mm. Moreover, when the surface sheet 1 is planarly viewed, the convex portion 11 preferably has an area of 0.5 to 10 mm 2 , particularly 1 to 5 mm 2 .

On the other hand, the back surface of the top sheet 2 is flatter than the front surface. Specifically, even if the back surface of the top sheet 2 is substantially flat or not flat, it is flatter than the surface of the top sheet 2. By this and the surface sheet opposing surface of the absorber 4 being flat, the adhesiveness of the surface sheet 2 and the absorber 4 improves.

From the viewpoint of further improving the adhesion between the topsheet 2 and the absorber 4, it is preferable that the topsheet 2 has stretchability as described above. In order to impart stretchability to the topsheet 2, for example, as a constituent fiber of the topsheet 2, the material itself has a specific three-dimensional structure such as elastic fiber exhibiting stretchability or a three-dimensional crimped fiber. The fibers shown may be used. Examples of elastic fibers whose material itself is stretchable include fibers obtained by melt spinning elastomer materials such as synthetic rubber such as styrene-butadiene, butadiene, isoprene, and neoprene, and natural rubber, and polyurethane and polyester represented by spandex. Synthetic fibers having a composition such as As the fiber exhibiting stretchability by having a specific three-dimensional structure, a three-dimensional crimped fiber crimped in a spiral shape is particularly preferably used. For example, the latent crimpable fiber which expressed the helical crimp by heat processing is mentioned.

It is preferable that the surface sheet 2 has a gradually dense structure from the front surface side toward the back surface side. As a result, the drawability of the liquid is further increased, and the liquid quickly moves to the absorber 4. In this case, it may have a dense structure continuously from the front side to the back side, or may have a dense structure in stages. For the same reason, it is also preferable that the topsheet 2 has gradually increased hydrophilicity from the front side to the back side. In this case, the hydrophilicity may increase continuously from the front side to the back side, or the hydrophilicity may increase stepwise.

In order to make a gradually dense structure from the front surface side to the back surface side of the top sheet 2, for example, the top sheet 2 has a multilayer structure of two or more layers, and a layer with higher fiber density is used as it goes to the lower layer. Good. Similarly, in order to make a structure having gradually higher hydrophilicity from the front surface side to the back surface side of the top sheet 2, for example, the top sheet 2 has a multilayer structure of two or more layers, and the hydrophilicity is increased toward the lower layer. A high layer may be used. Regarding the hydrophilicity, it is desirable that the hydrophilicity is not easily lowered even when the liquid is repeatedly absorbed, that is, it has stable durable hydrophilicity.

Specific examples of the surface sheet 2 preferably used for the napkin 1 of the present embodiment include Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open Nos. 2002-165830, 2002-187228, and 2003- Examples include sheets described in 126147, JP-A 2003-247155, JP-A 2003-250836, and the like.

Next, the preferable manufacturing method of the napkin of this embodiment is demonstrated. First, an absorber is embossed from the one surface side (back sheet opposing surface side). For embossing, an embossing device composed of a combination of a roll in which a number of convex pins are regularly planted on a peripheral surface and a smooth roll is used. During embossing, the rolls may be heated to a predetermined temperature so that the dot-shaped recesses 7 are effectively formed.

Next, after superposing the topsheet 2 on the absorber 4 so that the topsheet 2 is positioned on the absorber 4, the laminate is embossed to form grooves, and the topsheet 2 And the leakproof grooves 10 and 10 are formed in the absorber 4 by hot pressure. This embossing is performed, for example, by inserting the laminated body between an uneven roll in which an annular ridge corresponding to the leak-proof groove 10 is formed on the circumferential surface and a receiving roll made of an elastic body having a smooth circumferential surface. And do it.

Next, the pressure-bonding portion 9 is formed by embossing the inside of the leak-proof groove 10 in the laminated body after the leak-proof groove 10 is formed. For this embossing, an embossing device composed of a combination of a roll and a smooth roll in which a large number of convex pins are regularly planted on the peripheral surface is used.

Further, the back sheet 3 is laminated on the absorber side of the laminate and joined by a known method, and the contour is cut into the shape of the napkin 1 and an end seal is applied by a known method, whereby the sanitary napkin of this embodiment is used. Get one.

According to the manufacturing method of the present embodiment, after forming the leak-proof grooves 10, by forming the crimping portion 9 inside both the leak-proof grooves 10, the surface sheet 2 is naturally subjected to a strong tension, and in this state, the surface The sheet 2 is fixed to the absorber 4. Moreover, since the surface sheet is joined to the absorber while the surface sheet is greatly stretched in the crimping portion 9, strong joint strength is obtained, and the adhesion between the surface sheet 2 and the absorber 4 in a portion other than the crimping portion 9 is further improved.

As mentioned above, although demonstrated based on the preferable embodiment of this invention, this invention is not restrict | limited to the said embodiment. For example, in the above-described embodiment, the surface sheet 2 having a large number of convex portions 11 on the front surface side is used, but instead, a flat sheet on both the front surface side and the back surface side may be used.

In the napkin manufacturing method of the above embodiment, the pressure-bonding portion 9 may be formed before the leak-proof groove 10 is formed, and then the leak-proof groove 10 may be formed.

Moreover, the shape of the crimping | compression-bonding part 9 formed in the surface sheet opposing surface side of the absorber 4 is not restricted to a linear form. For example, dot, dotted, polygonal, curved, polygonal, circular, rectangular, hollow, rectangular, rectangular, or polygonal concave portions are formed from a group of concave portions that are substantially linearly connected. May be configured. If the crimp portion, for example a plurality of dot-like recesses consist of depressions which continues to the substantially linear, each dot-shaped recess has its area is 0.5 to 2.0 mm 2, in particular 1~1.0Mm 2 It is preferable. The distance between the dot-shaped recesses is preferably 5 mm or less, particularly 3 mm or less from the viewpoint that the liquid can be effectively guided in the extending direction of the crimping part.

Similarly, the shape of the recessed part 7 formed in the back surface sheet opposing surface side of the absorber 4 is not restricted to a dot shape. For example, the shape of the recess can be linear, elliptical, hollow, or wavy. Or it can also be set as the pattern which consists of those arbitrary 2 or more combinations.

Furthermore, in the said embodiment, although the recessed part 7 was formed in the same depth in any position of the absorber 4, this depth can be changed for every site | part of the absorber 4. FIG. The same applies to the crimping part 9. By doing so, there is an advantage that a desired absorption force can be obtained while improving the flexibility and fit of the napkin.

Moreover, although the said embodiment is an example which applied the absorbent article of this invention to the sanitary napkin, this invention can be applied to various absorbent articles, such as an incontinence pad, a cage sheet, a disposable diaper, for example. it can.
