Description

The present invention relates to an impregnating roll stain preventing agent and an impregnating roll stain preventing method in an impregnated paper manufacturing process using the same.

In recent years, various chemicals have been impregnated into paper in order to enhance the functions of paper products or to add new functions. For example, an impregnating liquid composition for enhancing the water resistance of paper is impregnated.
On the other hand, when impregnating the impregnating liquid composition having a strong film property, a film of the impregnating liquid composition is formed on the surface of the impregnating roll, and the accumulation of the film loses the smoothness of the surface of the impregnating roll, resulting in impregnation unevenness. Or the wrinkles are transferred to the paper and have a serious adverse effect on the quality of the impregnated paper.

The biggest cause of impregnation roll stains is the synthetic resin emulsion used in the impregnating liquid composition. As a means for solving these problems, the stickiness of the synthetic resin emulsion has been vigorously improved, and the synthetic resin emulsion Modifications or various internal additives have been reported. However, although these methods improve roll stains, they have drawbacks such as a reduction in product quality and the need for a large amount of internal additives.

Therefore, a method for cleaning the roll has been studied, and Patent Document 1 discloses various paper-making papers containing a halogenated glycol, a quaternary ammonium compound, a copolymer of N-vinylpyrrolidone and dialkylaminoalkyl acrylate, or the like as an active ingredient. A liquid detergent for rolls is disclosed. However, it is difficult to say that these cleaning agents are particularly sufficient for preventing soiling of impregnating rolls using synthetic resin emulsions. Patent Document 2 reports a method of cleaning a laminate roll with a cleaning cloth impregnated with acetone. However, since an organic solvent is used, deterioration of the environment is inevitable.

Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail.
In the present invention, polyvinylpyrrolidone or vinyl acetate / vinylpyrrolidone copolymer is used as an active ingredient.
Polyvinyl pyrrolidone is a homopolymer of vinyl pyrrolidone, and the average molecular weight is not particularly limited, but usually about 10,000 to 500,000 is sufficient.

The vinyl acetate / vinyl pyrrolidone copolymer is not particularly limited as long as it is generally commercially available, but has a molecular weight of 100,000 or less, vinyl acetate: vinyl pyrrolidone (molar ratio) = 30 to 70:70 to 30. Those are preferred.
The structure of the copolymer is not particularly limited, but a random copolymer having a linear structure or a copolymer in which vinyl acetate and vinylpyrrolidone are alternately bonded is preferable because of excellent dispersion stability.
Among these active ingredients, vinyl acetate / vinyl pyrrolidone copolymer is more preferable because it has a strong antifouling action.

The polyvinyl pyrrolidone or vinyl acetate / vinyl pyrrolidone copolymer is desirably added to water and used in an amount of 0.01 to 0.5 parts by weight, preferably 0.05 to 100 parts by weight of water. -0.2 weight part is desirable.
If the amount added is less than 0.01 parts by weight, the effect of preventing soiling is small, so a large amount of aqueous solution must be sprayed onto the roll, causing dew drop to the base paper, while adding over 0.5 parts by weight. Then, the quality of the impregnated paper may be deteriorated, which is not preferable from the viewpoint of economy.

In the present invention, there is provided a method for preventing soiling of an impregnating roll by adding polyvinylpyrrolidone or a vinyl acetate / vinylpyrrolidone copolymer to water (hereinafter simply referred to as an aqueous copolymer solution) and spraying the impregnating roll.
The aqueous copolymer solution is sprayed onto the impregnating roll by one-fluid spray or two-fluid spray.

The number of sprays, the spray nozzle, the distance to the roll, and the like are arbitrarily adjusted so that the spray is uniformly sprayed over the entire width of the impregnating roll. In particular, in the width direction of the roll, it is necessary to determine the interval between the sprays so that a portion that is not sprayed does not occur.
The amount of spraying is arbitrarily adjusted depending on the composition of the impregnating liquid, the temperature, the impregnation speed, etc. For example, when a two-fluid spray is installed at a distance of 250 mm to the roll at a roll φ of 245 mm, the impregnation speed is 100 m / min or less. Adjustment can be made within a range of 5 m / L to 40 m / L per nozzle.

The present invention is not limited to impregnating rolls, but also has the same effect on places where roll dirt is generated by the impregnating liquid composition, for example, roll dirt such as paper rolls and expander rolls that come into contact with paper before the impregnating liquid is dried. Play.
The impregnating liquid composition that is an object of the present invention is not particularly limited as long as it is impregnated into paper products, but a synthetic resin emulsion is particularly preferable. If it is a synthetic resin emulsion, it is cationic, anionic or amphoteric. It may be.
