Description

本発明者らは、前記課題を解決すべく鋭意研究を重ねた結果、９０℃で３０分間加熱したときに放出されるホルムアルデヒドを除く揮発性有機化合物の総量が１０〜１００重量ｐｐｍであるポリアセタール樹脂パウダー、又は、ペレット、又は成形体を用いることによってその目的を達成できることを見出し、この知見に基づいて本発明をなすに至った。
すなわち、本発明は、
１．９０℃で３０分間加熱したときに放出されるホルムアルデヒドを除く揮発性有機化合物の総量が、１０〜１００重量ｐｐｍであることを特徴とするポリアセタール樹脂、
２．更に、６０℃で３時間加熱したときに放出されるホルムアルデヒド量が、１０重量ｐｐｍ以下であることを特徴とする上記１に記載のポリアセタール樹脂、
３．ポリアセタール樹脂が、酸化防止剤として立体障害性フェノールの少なくとも１種、熱安定剤としてホルムアルデヒド反応性窒素を含有する化合物および／または重合体の少なくとも１種、および蟻酸捕捉剤の少なくとも１種をそれぞれ含有していることを特徴とする上記１又は２に記載のポリアセタール樹脂、
４．該蟻酸捕捉剤が、アルカリ土類金属のカルボン酸塩であることを特徴とする上記３に記載のポリアセタール樹脂、
５．該ポリアセタール樹脂が、ポリオキシメチレンコポリマーであることを特徴とする上記１〜４のいずれかに記載のポリアセタール樹脂、
６．上記１〜５のいずれかに記載のポリアセタール樹脂から得られる成形体、
７．該成形体を９０℃で３０分間加熱したときに放出されるホルムアルデヒドを除く揮発性有機化合物の総量が、１０〜１００重量ｐｐｍであることを特徴とする成形体、
８．該成形体が、自動車部品である上記６または７に記載の成形体、
９．９０℃で３０分間加熱したときに放出されるホルムアルデヒドを除く揮発性有機化合物の総量が、１０〜１００重量ｐｐｍであるポリアセタール樹脂を製造する方法において、該ポリアセタールコポリマーペレットを真空ベント付き２軸押出機で必要な回数溶融脱揮することを特徴とするポリアセタール樹脂の製造方法。
