前後の壁部および底部で断面凹形状に形成すると共に車幅方向に延設したカウルパネルと、空気導入口を開設したカウルルーバーと、を接合して閉断面構造に形成したカウル構造において、
上記カウルパネルおよび上記カウルルーバーで閉空間を画成するよう、カウルパネルの上記前後の壁部および上記底部に固着する遮断板取付部を、カウルルーバーの車幅方向両側部にそれぞれ一体的に形成し、
上記遮断板取付部には開口が設けられ、この開口を外方から開閉する遮断板を開口の上端側に設けることにより、
上記遮断板が上記閉空間の外方向に回動して上記開口を開くことで上記閉空間に流入した流体を上記開口を通してフェンダー側の排出溝へ排出し、また、上記遮断板が上記開口を閉じることで上記フェンダー側から上記開口を介して上記閉空間に流入する空気を遮断することを特徴とするカウル構造。
