Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a recording apparatus or a liquid ejecting apparatus with a scanner function.
Here, the liquid ejecting apparatus uses an ink jet recording head, and is not limited to a recording apparatus such as a printer, a copying machine, and a facsimile machine that records ink on a recording medium by discharging ink from the recording head. It includes a device that ejects a liquid corresponding to the application from a liquid ejecting head corresponding to the recording head to an ejected medium corresponding to a recording medium and adheres the liquid to the ejected medium.
In addition to the recording head, as a liquid ejecting head, a color material ejecting head used for manufacturing a color filter such as a liquid crystal display, and an electrode material (conductive paste) used for forming an electrode such as an organic EL display or a surface emitting display (FED) Examples thereof include an ejection head, a bioorganic matter ejection head used for biochip production, and a sample ejection head as a precision pipette.
In the printer, the recording paper feeding port that is the entrance to the printing path communicating with the recording unit is positioned at the top, so that falling dust and foreign matter can easily enter the printing path from the feeding port. May be disturbed. Therefore, conventionally, there is a structure in which a base having an open upper half and an upper part of the front surface of the recording paper is detachably provided, and a cover body capable of closing the upper half and upper part of the front face is rotatably provided on the back surface of the base. It has been proposed (see Patent Document 1).
Further, Patent Document 2 discloses a receipt paper outlet cover in which a side of the cover is a receipt paper guide in order to provide a cover at the receipt paper outlet to prevent a foreign substance from falling.
On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 20, a
However, since such a
The subject of this invention is providing the foreign material fall prevention cover which can prevent the fall of the foreign material to a feeding port, without disturbing the operativity of an edge guide.
In order to achieve the above object, the foreign matter fall prevention device in the scanner-equipped recording apparatus according to the first aspect of the present invention includes a scanner unit on the upper side that can be opened upward around a rotation shaft provided on the rear side. In a recording apparatus with a scanner in which a feeding port for feeding a recording medium to a recording unit adjacent to the rear side of the scanner unit is formed in the feeding unit, the rear end side of the scanner unit includes A foreign matter fall prevention cover is rotatably connected above the rotation axis of the scanner unit, and an opening / closing guide for the foreign matter fall prevention cover is formed on both sides of the feeding port. The feeding port can be closed by moving backward in the process of opening the scanner unit, and the free end of the foreign matter fall prevention cover is stored in the feeding unit. After contacting the uppermost recording medium, the feeding port is closed and the guide is formed along the uppermost recording medium. To do.
According to the first aspect of the present invention, when the scanner unit is opened, the foreign matter drop prevention cover advances rearward along the opening / closing guide while rotating around the rotation shaft. As a result, the feeding port is closed as the scanner unit is tilted, and finally the entire feeding port is closed by the foreign matter fall prevention cover. After the free end of the foreign matter fall prevention cover comes into contact with the uppermost recording medium stocked in the feeding unit, the foreign matter fall prevention cover keeps the feeding port closed and the free end is maintained. Are guided upward along the top recording medium.
Therefore, even if a foreign object such as a clip is placed on the upper surface of the scanner unit, the foreign object that has been slid down as the scanner unit is opened is received by the foreign object drop prevention cover, so that the foreign object does not enter the feeding port.
In addition, the foreign matter fall prevention cover of the present invention is retracted to the front side when the scanner unit is closed, so that it does not interfere with the operation of the edge guide of the medium support in the feeding unit.
Further, the foreign matter fall prevention apparatus in the scanner-equipped recording apparatus according to the second aspect of the present invention is the foreign matter receiving portion having a tray-like shape in which the inside of the foreign matter fall prevention cover is recessed in the first aspect. Is formed.
According to this aspect, when a foreign object such as a clip placed on the upper surface of the scanner unit slides down to the feeding port side, the foreign object falls into the foreign object receiving portion, regardless of the subsequent movement of the foreign object fall prevention cover. , Stay there.
Further, the foreign matter fall prevention device in the recording apparatus with a scanner according to the third aspect of the present invention is the first or second aspect, wherein the foreign matter fall prevention cover has a length in a state where the scanner unit is closed. When the maximum number of recording media that can be stored in the feeding unit is stocked, the free end of the foreign matter fall prevention cover is determined so as to substantially contact the uppermost recording medium. To do. Here, “substantially contact” is used to include a range in which the free end of the foreign matter fall prevention cover is slightly separated from a state of slightly contacting the uppermost recording medium.
According to this aspect, in the state where the maximum number of recording media that can be stocked in the feeding unit is stocked, the feeding port is already closed by the foreign matter fall prevention cover and the thickness of the recording medium. If the scanner unit is opened in this state, the free end is guided upward along the uppermost recording medium while the foreign matter fall prevention cover is kept in the closed state.
Moreover, the foreign matter fall prevention apparatus in the recording apparatus with a scanner according to the fourth aspect of the present invention is the above-described first to third aspect, wherein the free end of the foreign matter fall prevention cover is located below the rear end. It is formed by being rounded in an arc shape by being hung on.
According to this aspect, after the free end of the foreign matter fall prevention cover comes into contact with the uppermost recording medium, it is guided to the surface of the recording medium and easily moves upward.
According to a fifth aspect of the present invention, there is provided a recording apparatus with a scanner including any one of the first to fourth foreign matter fall prevention devices. According to this aspect, since it is possible to prevent foreign matters that have been mistakenly left on the scanner unit from falling into the feeding port, it is possible to provide a recording apparatus with a scanner with few failures.
According to a sixth aspect of the present invention, the foreign matter fall prevention device for the scanner-equipped recording apparatus is provided on the rear side of the scanner unit in the fifth aspect, and moves backward by opening the scanner unit. A foreign matter receiving portion formed so as to close a gap formed between the foreign matter fall prevention cover and the scanner unit; An edge guide that is slidable in the width direction of the recording medium on a hopper that supports the recording medium, and the edge guide includes a base portion that is slidably provided on the hopper, and It is formed so as to rise from the base portion in the stacking direction of the recording medium, abuts against the side edge of the recording medium and regulates the side edge, and the end side of the free end And it is characterized in that it is configured with a recess formed guide portion, to.
According to this aspect, since the foreign matter fall prevention cover and the foreign matter receiving portion are arranged around the edge guide, it is difficult to increase the size of the edge guide and the operability (easy to pick) of the edge guide may be impaired. However, since the concave portion is formed on the side surface of the free end of the guide portion that regulates the recording medium side end in the edge guide, the edge guide is operated by the concave portion even when the size of the edge guide is small. The property (easy to pick) can be improved.
In addition, the foreign matter fall prevention device in the liquid ejecting apparatus with a scanner according to the seventh aspect of the present invention includes a scanner unit on the upper side that can be opened upward around a rotation shaft provided on the rear side. In a liquid ejecting apparatus with a scanner, wherein a feeding port for feeding an ejected medium to the liquid ejecting unit is formed in the feeding unit adjacent to the side, and the scanner unit A foreign matter fall prevention cover is pivotally connected to the upper side of the pivot shaft, and opening / closing guides for the foreign matter fall prevention cover are formed on both sides of the feeding port. The feeding port can be closed by moving backward in the process of opening the unit, and the free end of the foreign matter fall prevention cover is stocked in the feeding unit. After contacting the uppermost medium to be ejected, the feed port is closed, and is guided along the uppermost medium to be ejected. It is.
According to an eighth aspect of the present invention, there is provided a liquid ejecting apparatus with a scanner, comprising the foreign matter dropping prevention apparatus according to the seventh aspect.

As shown in FIG. 1, a recording apparatus with a scanner 1 includes an apparatus
The apparatus
The
As shown in FIG. 1, the
The recording medium P inserted into the feeding
On the other hand, as shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, the rear side of the scanner unit 5 (right side of FIGS. 6 and 7) is moved backward (right side of FIGS. 6 and 7) by opening the
However, on the other hand, since the
Next, as shown in FIGS. 3, 5, 6 and 7, a foreign matter
As shown in FIG. 8, open /
The length of the foreign matter
Next, a structure for preventing the
As shown in FIG. 12, a protruding

Hereinafter, the operation of the foreign matter
First, the foreign matter
As shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, when the
Next, as shown in FIG. 6, when the
At this time, since the
Next, the action of avoiding damage to the
First, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 13, when both the
As shown in FIG. 15, when the
Then, as shown in FIG. 16, when the degree of opening of the
