The present invention relates to a navigation system that comprehensively guides various transportation means such as vehicles, trains, and walks according to a travel plan from a departure place to a destination.
A navigation system using a plurality of movement forms including not only vehicles but also railways and walks is known (Patent Document 1).

The invention of
According to a second aspect of the present invention, in the navigation system of the first aspect, the in-vehicle navigation device creates a walking map by performing a straightening process and an orthogonalization process of the road shape.
According to a third aspect of the present invention, in the navigation system of the first or second aspect, the in-vehicle navigation device searches for a route from the starting point of the walking movement to the destination based on the map data, and the entire searched route is displayed. A predetermined range when summarizing the road map is set so as to include at least.
According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, in the navigation system according to any one of the first to third aspects, when the mobile terminal receives the walking map, the portable terminal determines what the next moving means is, and the next moving means is walking. In this case, a walking map indicating the walking movement route is immediately displayed.

The invention of
According to the present invention, the in-vehicle navigation device or the base station server creates a walking map by summarizing a normal road map represented by the map data within a predetermined range, and transmits the walking map to the mobile terminal. The mobile terminal receives the walking map transmitted from the in-vehicle navigation device or the base station server, and displays the walking map when moving on foot. Since it did in this way, the map for a walk suitable for the guidance of a walk movement can be provided to a user, and it is not necessary to mount the angular velocity sensor and GPS receiver for detecting the present location in a portable terminal.
-System configuration-
A navigation system according to an embodiment of the present invention is shown in FIG. The navigation system of FIG. 1 connects a car navigation device (hereinafter referred to as an in-vehicle device) 1 mounted on a car, a
The navigation system shown in FIG. 1 guides the user to a final destination according to the travel plan by using the in-
The in-
The
The
The

FIG. 2 is a system block diagram showing the configuration of the in-
The

-Overview of navigation services-
FIG. 3 is a diagram showing an overview of a navigation service provided by the navigation system of the present embodiment. First, the user registers a travel plan in the
FIG. 4 shows an example of the total route calculated as described above. In FIG. 4, the moving means from the
When the travel plan of FIG. 4 is registered, the
When leaving the
When the
When the user arrives at the
Further, a map of the
As a second process, the in-
After getting off the car, the user moves the
When the user arrives at the
In addition, although the case where there is no train transfer is described here, when the train is changed on the way, information necessary for the transfer is also displayed on the
After arrival at the getting-off station 44, the walking map of the
As described above, the series of processes shown in FIG. 3 is completed, and the navigation service according to the present embodiment is completed. In addition, when performing guidance related to the time such as the departure time and arrival time of the railway train described above with the
-Change of travel plan-
Next, a case where the travel plan is changed during the movement from the
FIG. 5 is a diagram in which information transmitted from the
(A) The change information of the car destination is transmitted when the road is congested or closed, so it is not possible to reach the car destination (the
If the user needs to change the destination of the car while leaving the
(B) As described above, the change information of the boarding train is transmitted when the
The change information of the boarding train described above is sent from when the user gets off the car until he gets on the railroad or while he is on the car. The
(C) The change information of the transfer train is transmitted when it is necessary to pass through a different railway route from the schedule at the time of boarding due to the operation status of the railway after boarding the train. In this case, the
As described above, the travel plan is changed in the
-How to create a map for walking-
Here, a method for creating a walking map will be described. The above-described walking map of the
FIG. 6 and FIG. 7 are detailed explanatory diagrams for explaining the contents of deformation processing used when creating a walking map in the present invention. In FIG. 6, road shape straightening (composition point thinning-out processing) will be described as deformation processing (1). Here, in the map data, the road shape is determined by a set of component points called nodes each having position information (coordinate information).
Assuming that the original figure shown in FIG. 6A is the original road shape, on the other hand, as shown in FIG. 6B, a line connecting the two end points (referred to as the first end point and the second end point). The perpendicular distance of each point with respect to (broken line) is measured, and the longest perpendicular distance dmax is obtained. If dmax is equal to or larger than a predetermined value ε set in advance, the corresponding constituent point is left. That is, as shown in (c), a point corresponding to the dmax is added as a new end point (referred to as a third end point), and the first end point and the third end point, and the third end point and the second end point are Draw lines that are connected by broken lines.
In this way, the same processing is repeated until the longest perpendicular distance dmax becomes smaller than ε. Assume that dmax <ε in the state shown in FIG. At this time, a straight line connecting adjacent end points is drawn, and the road shape is represented by the shape of the straight line. As a result, the road shape as shown in (e) is obtained. In this way, the road shape straightening process is performed.
In FIG. 7, the orthogonalization of the road shape will be described as the deformation process (2). Assuming that the figure shown in FIG. 7A is the original road shape, a straight line passing through the first point (P1) of the first broken line and parallel to the x-axis (the horizontal direction of the map) is obtained. . This straight line is taken as a reference line indicated by a broken line. Next, as shown in (b), for the vector P1P2 connecting the point P1 and the next point P2, the angle θ made with the reference line is obtained.
Next, as shown in (c), with the vector length fixed, the vector P1P2 is rotated around the starting point P1 so that θ ′ = n · Δθ (n is an integer). Thereby, the end point P2 is moved. The angle Δθ is a unit angle when the vector P1P2 is rotated, and is set to 45 °, for example. By this process, the angle formed by the vector P1P2 and the reference line is corrected in increments of unit angle Δθ.
Next, as shown in (d), the amount of movement (dx, dy) of the point P2 is sequentially propagated to the next point of the point P2. In the case of an intersection, it is branched and propagated. As a result, the positions of the other points move one after another.
Thereafter, the same processing as described above is repeated. That is, as shown in (e), a straight line passing through the point P2 and parallel to the x axis is used as a reference line, and an angle θ formed by the next vector P2P3 and the reference line is obtained. Then, as shown in (f), the vector P2P3 is rotated around the start point P2 so that θ ′ = n · Δθ, and the end point P3 is moved. Thereafter, as shown in (g), the amount of movement (dx, dy) that the point P3 has moved is propagated to the next point of P3. In the case of an intersection, it is branched and propagated.
By sequentially performing such processing on all points, a road shape as shown in (h) is finally obtained. In this way, the road shape is orthogonalized. As described above, the deformation process is completed by performing the straightening and orthogonalizing process of the road shape. A walking map can be created by performing this deformation process on the set map area.
On the walking map created as described above, landmarks indicating the positions of various facilities are displayed as in the original map before the deformation process is performed. However, since the road shape is simplified by the deformation process, the position of the road on the walking map changes from the original map. Therefore, if the landmark is displayed on the map for walking with the original position, the positional relationship between the road and the landmark cannot be represented correctly. Therefore, it is necessary to correct the position of the landmark after performing the deformation process. The method will be described below.
In FIG. 8, an outline of landmark position correction will be described. As shown in FIG. 8A, the map before the deformation process describes a delicate positional relationship between the position of the landmark and the road. When the deformation process as described above is performed on the original map and the landmark position is displayed as it is, a map for walking as shown in (b), for example, is obtained.
In the map for walking shown in (b), since only the position of the road is changed with respect to the original map shown in (a), the positional relationship between the original landmark and the road is not maintained. For example, paying attention to a post office near the center of the map, the post office is located on the opposite side of the road between the original map shown in (a) and the map shown in (b). Therefore, in order to correct such inconvenience, the position of the landmark is corrected. As a result, as shown in (c), the positional relationship between the road and the landmark approximates the positional relationship on the original map. To do.
Next, a detailed algorithm for landmark position correction will be described with reference to FIG. In the landmark position correction, first, as shown in FIG. 9A, a pair list between shape vectors before and after summarization is created. Here, by performing the deformation process as described above, the number of constituent points of the shape vector representing the shape of the road changes from the original one. Therefore, when creating a pair list, the directionality between the branch points between the shape vectors related in the pair list must match. That is, a one-to-one correspondence relationship is established for each branch point before and after the deformation process.
After the pair list is created in this way, as shown in (b), correction processing for equalizing the norm of each shape vector and the distance between the corresponding branch points is performed. That is, in the original map before summarization, the norm value of the shape vector closest to the landmark and the ratio of the distance from the landmark to each branch point in the road route including the shape vector are measured. With this measured value, even in the summary map after deformation processing, the norm value and the ratio of the distance from the landmark to the branch point are equivalent to the shape vector associated with the pair list. , Calculate landmark position. Then, a landmark is displayed at the calculated position.
In the landmark position correction described above, the shape and distance of the road changes by converting it into a walking map through deformation processing, so the corresponding landmark (such as a store along the road) also converts the coordinates according to the road. There is a need to. Therefore, as a parameter for the position of the landmark before conversion, what percentage of the whole landmark is from one end of the road (link) before conversion, which side of the road, Find how many meters away. Then, with respect to the corresponding road data after conversion, the position of the landmark after conversion is determined using these three parameters. This will be described using a specific example shown in FIG.
FIG. 10A shows an example of a landmark position on a normal map before the deformation process. Roads connecting the points A and B, the
The three parameters described above are obtained for the landmark position before conversion. The ratio of the first parameter, that is, the distance from one end (point A) of the road to the total distance is obtained as 900/1200 = 0.75 (75%). The second parameter, that is, which side of the road is located, is determined to be on the left side of the road from point A to point B. The third parameter, that is, the distance from the road is obtained as 10 m.
FIG. 10B shows an example of the landmark position on the walking map after the deformation process is executed. In this walking map, the road connecting the point A and the point B is represented by one
By performing the processing described above, the position of the landmark is corrected, and the positional relationship between the road and the landmark can be approximated to the original normal map. As a result, with respect to the landmark position of the original map shown in FIG. 8A, the landmark position in the map after deformation processing can be made as shown in FIG. A walking map is created by representing the landmark position on the deformed map.

Next, the transition from the

-How to guide remaining time-
Next, a method for guiding the remaining time in the
Specifically, when the
